Absolutely love Dr. DeAngelo and his staff. He is very knowledgeable, and wont make you feel bad about yourself if you decide that extreme levels of intervention are not appropriate for your animal. So many people will push an animal to the limits of interventions and rehabilitation resulting in extraordinary levels of pain and misery. I greatly appreciate his respect for an owners decision on what is best in regards to the care of an animal who is suffering. I have cared for numerous horses under his guidance and successfully rehabbed all but one. He was very respectful of my decisions concerning their care and has always been incredibly helpful during the decision process. Highly recommend his clinic.

We have been a customer of Calhan Veterinary Clinic for six years. Dr. DeAngelo and his staff have always been knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to treating our large and small animals. They are able to get our animals examined in a timely manner and give them the best care. They follow up their examination with a phone call to see that our animals are doing okay and answer any questions we have. We highly recommend their veterinary service.

Had to stop using them because DR. DeAngelo only cares about getting your money. He repeatedly tried to add things that the animals dont need. He thinks he is an animal dentist and is not! He thinks acupressure is acupuncture which he did on horses without asking if I wanted it done and charged me for it. He is pretty rude too but his staff is great and you dont really notice at first. There is a lot more.. DONT TRUST HIM!

If you live anywhere in the Falcon/Peyton/Elbert/Elizabeth/Calhan/Simla area, this is the vet you need to go to. Weve tried several small animal vets and Dr. DeAngelo takes the cake. Their prices are very reasonable, their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and I liked him much better than other vets in either Elizabeth or Kiowa. Well be bringing all of our animals to him in the future.

I moved away a few years ago but while I lived near Calhan for 15 years, I used the Vet Clinic for a long list of dogs, cats, and goats. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. DiAngelo is extremely competent and sympathetic. If it werent a 22-hour drive, Id still be going there!

EXCEPTIONAL, from the caring receptionist.... to the professional and informative veterinarian. We had our male goat castrated by laser surgery and couldnt be more pleased with his quick recovery! Soooo much more humane than "banding." Highly recommend this caring establishment!

I love having all my animals under one Vet, Horses, dogs, pigs, etc. I find both Dr. Grammer and Dr. DeAngelo friendly and caring, and they are active in the community sponsoring clinics, 4-H, FFA, and so on.
