Our family, (5 Dogs and 3 Cats), have been coming to the Briargate Vet Clinic for the better part of 15 years. The doctors and staff have cared for them from Cradle to Grave. From the simplest Wellness check up to the most dire life saving surgery, we have seen and experienced it all. We have only the utmost of respect and trust in the doctors and staff knowing they provide the highest level of care and medical expertise you could ask for. Not once over the years have we ever had a bad experience and have always been treated with respect and professionalism. Our animals have always received the utmost of care and compassion. The clinic has always been there to help in emergencies and in times of severe distress as wells as in the happy times. There is no way we can ever thank the Briargate Vet Clinic staff enough for all the TLC they have given our friends and companions. Thank you all...you know who you are!! I have taken my dogs and cats to this vet for many years and have always had excellent care of my pets. The Drs spend time with me and my pet to make sure proper care is given to them and they never seem to be rushed yet they still manage to run on time with appts. They do seem to REALLY care and have never treated me like they only wanted my money. They have always followed up after treatment with a call from the Dr the next day to see how my pet was doing. They always seem to be able to make time to see you if you have a concern the same day you call. This is not a "drive thru give me your money" kinda of vet they are the real deal. They are located near my home thats why I visited them the first time but if I ever move I will be more than happy to drive out of my way to take my pet back to them for treatment. Also the front desk staff have ALWAYS been very nice. I recomend them to everyone I know!

Briargate veterinary clinic is the only vet I will ever go to. My dog got hit by a car and then developed an immune disorder. The sweetest woman in the world, Dr. Mooney helped us through every step. I was to the point where I was calling her every single day. Dr. Mooney knows that my husband and I are newly weds just starting out our life and we dont have much money. She worked with us and helped our dog get back to his old self again. Our dog still suffers with his immune disorder but with a quick call to Dr. Mooney he is up and running in a couple days. The front desk staff was so sympathetic and patient with us and they were willing to help us out in anyway possible.

We have been taking my sick cat here for almost a year and the vet kept on saying, oh its just a sinus infection, oh its just a sinus infection, keep giving him these expensive meds etc etc etc. Well we got tired of it and went to a different vet and we got the answer straight. Because of all this "sinus infection" bull, we figured out that my poor cat has a tumor in his nose and we have to put him down. If this vet didnt sugar coat this, wed be able to get him the help he needed. But no, we got the sweet sugar coat that my sweet baby is fine, he just has a little cold. Bull. Never going here again.

Where to start. I would give this place no stars if I could. My dog went in for an operation to remove a growth on his neck. When we picked him up it looked like they had cut his neck off. I have never in my like seen such a terrible job. Drainage took days to stop. Then a few days after that he started losing hair on his leg. Looked like mange. Took him back and found out they had burned him during the operation. Of course they tried to blame us at first until they admitted it was them. Miracle he is still alive. Reading all these five star ratings makes me laugh.

I have been going to Briargate Veterinary Clinic for 15 years. I have always been very pleased with their services and wouldnt go anywhere else. They have gone above and beyond for my pets many many times. I recommend all of the vets there. They always give me all of the treatment options available and let me decide which one to do. My 10 year old dog, Jordan, is currently getting laser therapy for his arthritis. We are so excited because he had such good results that he is off of his Rimadyl and feeling so much better. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Compassionate care for the owner as well as the pet. The staff at Briargate Veterinary Clinic are extremely competent, providing the latest research to help your pet through the vagaries of life while exhibiting caring, loving attitudes to both the pet and the owner. They realise the close bonds between the pet and the owner are an important facet of life and must be treated along with injuries or illnesses. They are truly the best veterinary team in town!

I adopted a dog from PPHS last December. It was a rough go at first but all the staff and Vets at the clinic were very helpful and understanding. From tummy trouble, to extreme separation anxiety they helped me through it all. They listened and responded quickly and compationately to all my questions and concerns. I am happy to report I have a happy well adjusted pup and Briagate Vet Clinic played a big role in that. I highly recommend them! Thanks!

BEST VET CARE ON THE PLANET !!! We have been going to this vets office for almost 8 years and LOVE all the vets and front office staff...Special mention to Dr. Rothstein and Dr. Mooney..Dr.Rothstein took GREAT care in putting our cat Opie and chinchilla Baby to sleep..even stayed late to accomodate us. Dr. Mooney left some special food out in the planter so we could pick it up after hours !!!! I highly recommend this vet office to anyone.

Truly the best vet in town! Dr. Rothstein was one of the few vets we could find who could treat bunnies. He and his staff are so caring and compassionate. When our last bunny passed away and we went to pick up her body, they had wrapped her in a Peter Rabbit blanket. We cried even more but it was the sweetest gesture. We have cats now and plans for a dog in the future and we wont even consider going anywhere else.

The doctors were always thorough and compassionate during our visits. I agree with some of the other reviews that the front desk staff was not always attentive and professional. I can remember a few times where I experienced long wait times at the desk and on the phone. However, I recommend this vet clinic as I know my dogs interests were always first and foremost.

AWFUL ~ WE HAD TO HAVE OUR DOG PUT DOWN, REQUESTED THE ASHES AND 9 DAYS LATER WHEN I CALLED TO SEE IF THEY WERE BACK, I WAS TOLD DUE TO HUMAN ERROR THEY HAD MARKED THE WRONG BOX AND WE WOULDNT BE GETTING OUR DOGS ASHES BACK. STAY AWAY FROM THESE HEARTLESS, CRUEL, PATHETIC PEOPLE. HOW WOULD THEY FEEL IF THEIR LOVED ONES ASHES WERE LOST DUE TO HUMAN ERROR.
