I cant say enough good things about Doc Valdez. I had an extremely high risk pregnancy and we spent five days at the hospital after delivery and she came by and was wonderful. When we saw Tom because she was booked she still came in and talked to us and made sure to say hello. She spent an hour answering every question I had about circumcision (we opted to not do it) and then spent another hour answering every question I had about vaccines. She is so thorough and will give as much information as she can without being biased. She supports our parenting choices 100% and doesnt judge. She reassures me when I come in when I feel like I might be overreacting that I did the right thing (every time he has actually needed medication because hes been sick). She doesnt over medicate or just give pills out for the heck of it which I love too. I dont want to think about PCSing because we have made such a strong bond with his pediatrician and with the entire office. Every time someone needs a recommendation for a pediatrician I quickly mention Iron-horse. I couldnt be happier. Also, their on-call nurses rock. Ive called several times to get advice on everything from medicine dosage to whether we should go to the ER or wait until morning. I dont have to come to FB to post a medical question about my son because Iron Horse makes it so easy. During work hours they always have an MA to answer any questions and after hours they always have on-call nurses answering. I feel so blessed by them. Oh and the online portal is awesome. You can download your childs vaccination record, make an appointment, check their history, and pay your bills. We have seen almost all the doctors, the pas and the mas there and we love them all. You cant go wrong at Iron Horse.

My kids have been seeing Dr. Valdez for years and she has always been fabulous! When my oldest was having trouble in school she sat and listened to my concerns and then made suggestions. After she was diagnosed with ADHD, DR. Valdez again sat and listened, addressed all of my questions and concerns and helped us on the best course of action. Its been trial and error, but shes been supportive and incredibly helpful every step of the way. When our youngest was born, Dr. Valdez came to visit us in the the Hospital. And she was with us every step of the way when the baby spiked a high fever at 1 months old and ended up in the ER and then in the Hospital for a week. Dr. Valdez worked directly with the Doctors that were treating her in the ER. And she stopped in to visit, answer questions and explain things every single day that we were in the Hospital. When you have a sick baby and you dont know whats wrong, I can not tell you how incredibly comforting it is to have your own Pediatrician who you trust come walking into that Hospital room every morning. And when youre being bombarded by nurses and Doctors throwing medical terms around that you dont understand, its invaluable to know that you can call your own Doctor anytime and shes happy to explain everything and answer any questions. We loved Doctor Valdez from the beginning because of her fabulous personality and the way she cares for her patients. But after that hospital stay... Ill never switch Pediatricians again. And I recommend her to anyone I know that is looking for an amazing Ped. She truly is one of a kind.

We just moved into the area and heard nice things about this pediatrics. We decided to give it a try only to have a terrible experience. Our appointment was at 3 I arrived at 245 we werent called to the back until 325. Finally get to the back the nurse did her usual check up with the kids, then we waited another 20-25 minutes to see the doctor. He wouldnt listen to a word I was saying when I express the concern of my oldest health that she have been having problems for 2.5 years now. When it came to my youngest he talked to me as if I didnt know anything. I forgot the youngest shot records (I blame myself on that part) but he reassured me I COULD CALL and give the shot records over the phone. By the time we left we been in there nearly 2 hours with unanswered problems. I called them as soon as I got home and the nurse told me she cant take the records over the phone. I never been to such an unorganized office in my life. Will not be going back and definitely I wont recommend Dr.Maynard .

So happy that we found Dr. Limb and the other doctors at Iron Horse. They are always polite and take time to listen to you. They dont push vaccinations and will work with your alternate vaccination schedule. They have "shots only" appointments that are very quick. All the nurses have been so kind and loving to my child. He loves going here even though he usually has to get a shot. There is always a Disney movie playing in the waiting room. There is a sick and a well side of the waiting room to minimize spread of germs. They have never been pushy about getting you to leave. I breastfeed my child after each vaccination (sometimes up to twenty minutes) and they have never said anything about it. My child loves the fish on the walls in the rooms. They also have on call nurses to help even when the office is closed. Such a great pediatrics practice that is always smiling!

Dr. Bagnell has a great ability to communicate with kids; unfortunately, in the year and a half my daughter has been a patient there, she has only met with her once. The office is pathetic with same day appointments...and by pathetic I mean they are non-existent. Twice now I have had to take my daughter to urgent care and pay the higher copy not because of the severity of her illness but rather because they were unable to get her in. This lack of continuity of care is unacceptable and my daughter ends up being the one who suffers because she has to meet with different physicians who know nothing about her medical record/past history of treatment. Ive put up with this ridiculousness long enough and have no intention of remaining with this office. Having a good physician means nothing if youre not able to meet with her, or anyone else in her office, for treatment!

My children saw Doctor Valdez, and she was great. The office, however, was disatorous. If youre wanting to make an appointment, be prepared to wait on hold for 20+ minutes each time you call in, generally only to answered by a hostile receptionist. Seriously, these ladies are the rudest. Weve moved out of the Springs area, and we had requested copies of medical records for obvious reasons. Well, we never received the documents, and when we called and inquired, we were met with another hostile receptionist who was apparently bothered by our call and literally hung up on us. If we were in the area still, Id change offices. If you cannot handle the amount of patients you have, perhaps stop taking into new patients or hire more staff.

The location on Tejon street is inside of the Chase bank (upstairs) which was a little confusing the first time we went. Even though parking is limited, we have never had a problem parking. The office is clean and updated. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. I love that there are two waiting rooms, one for healthy children and one for sick children. There are toys and a movie playing while you wait to be seen. We always get called back within 10 minutes of checking in. Doctor Limb is nice and good with kids. She is knowledgeable and answers all of our questions. They usually have stickers and suckers on the counter for your kiddo to choose one as well!
