I have seen Dr. Monheit once following an ER visit after I lost my long time primary care physician due to a change in insurance. I was surprised by the casual disregard for clients by his office staff both in my initial phone call and my first visit. The office staff seems to be stuck in the 1950s and but not in the cute quaint way. Outdated filing methods, poor phone skills, NO empathy or even common courtesy, and no attention to detail. The feeling is like they couldnt care less about you just get out of the way so they can continue whatever they were doing before you arrived. The office its self is cramped, cluttered and not very clean. Dr. Monheit himself seemed nice, but more interested in blaming my Medical MMJ use for my long time digestive issues (which begun in childhood LONG before I found migraine relief with MMJ) than actively listening and assisting me. Basically the impression I got from him was hed be happy to refer me to another doctor (which he did) and prescribe me meds (which he did) but beyond that he wasnt terribly interested in putting forth much effort or thought about me or my health concerns. I will be looking for another primary physician where professionalism and patient care take greater priority.

When I made the appoint the receptionist was efficient, but grumpy. Upon arriving for the appointment the office staff seemed more interested in the conversation they were having among themselves than helping me check in as a new patient. The wait time between getting there and Dr. Monheit coming into the room was 45 minutes. Dr. Monheit provided good care and was attentive during the visit, but his medical assistant wasnt proficient with the breathing test so I had to do it a series of 4 times to get it to work. Today I called to ask for a referral to a specialist. The receptionist aggressively informed me "WE DONT HAVE CONTROL OVER THAT!!!" She instead offered me an appointment with Dr. Monhiet. Needless to say I declined the appoint and will be finding a new physician. Very unprofessional operation despite adequate care from Dr. Monheit.

If i could give a negative star I would. This office has to be the worse Ive been to in years. The "office manager" attitude is unbelievable. Its almost sad for the Dr. (who is a great person according to my grandfather) to have this negative person running the front of his office. If they get rid of her his practice could strive. The medial assistant was ok a little less than average , however she explained that she was a student in training. I was a bit concerned because she was getting yelled at about a copay payment by the "office manager" when I walked in, thank god shes a student. However how is it that student is the nicest person in your clinic? Enough with the madness this practice gets one star simply because my family knows the actual Dr.

The doctors themselves are okay, however the front office staff are absolutely horrible. Ive have been going to this doctor for a few years simply due to proximity, however I have been pushed past my limits. My last visit I had to wait for two hours after my scheduled time because they were short staffed. No apology. Every encounter with them feels as if Im inconveniencing them. Very curt and cold responses. They also do not seem to have any subtlety in loudly announcing my prescriptions to the waiting room. Two stars cause the doctors are cool, but man these ladies are downright mean but more importantly they just dont care to get you what you need in a timely manner.

My experience with the receptionists has always been really friendly and helpful. Ive always been able to get an appointment scheduled quickly. I could understand if some of the receptionists are friendly and some are not. It was useful to know to bring a checkbook- that probably contributed to my feeling satisfied. The doctors were competent, and the older Dr. Monheit was really friendly. Honestly, I dont understand why there are such negative reviews.

Staff is rude and poorly trained. They failed to inform me when I made my appointment that they didnt take credit cards. When I asked them why they didnt inform me of this when I made my appointment, staff was indifferent and condescending. I never even got to see the doctor, and I have no interest in seeing him if these are types of people he hires and the lack of attention to detail with which he runs his business.

The receptionist are horrible and very rude. If the care that is given is anything like the customer service I would run from this place! I wouldnt even take my pet rat to this doctors office based solely upon how rude the staff is. I wish I could give a negative star!

This is a great place with fine medical doctors. The bad reviews are ridiculous and incorrect. No they do not take credit cards, but if you cant scrape a dollar out of your car or purse then I think thats the real underlying issue. Seriously

The doctors wife is not the most pleasant to speak to (terrible actually). The rest of the staff, however, is great and they always seem to get me in pretty quickly!

Worst Doctors ever, they dont care about you. Want to get you in and out and the office staff are the rudest people on the planet. DONT EVER GO HERE!

unorganized. bring cash when you come as they dont accept debit or credit cards. be prepared to wait.
