I went to this lab for a pre employment drug screen last week. I was told by the woman who collected my sample that I "look suspicious". Im a gender-fluid adult biological male with long hair, and look significantly younger than my age. The day I went to this lab, I was wearing very clean, well-fitting, color-coordinated clothing. Later, I was told that my sample appeared "diluted" and asked to provide another sample. Such superficial ignorance is unacceptable and borderline discrimination. You need to train your employees on how to properly interact with people who are slightly different, and to not assume anything about the people who come in to urinate in a cup. Youre there to collect piss from people, not judge their appearance as "suspicious". The perfect-looking man who comes in with a years worth of alcohol and cocaine in his system for a sales job drug screen is more suspicious than Ill ever be. Thankfully I only missed out on a part time job because of this labs discriminatory superficial ignorance. I drink up to 3 quarts of liquids per day (even more if Im performing or doing work outside and sweating), and if that makes my urine look diluted, oh well.
