Lies and manipulation with the inability to cover a warranty. I paid a very large amount for my glasses, including a one year full coverage warranty. When my glasses, with all the lens bells and whistles possible, got ruined, I proceeded to call Vision Works about my warranty. They told me once the lenses came in it would be no more than an hour I would have to wait for the installation of the new ones. They also told me to come in at my leisure to order the replacements before the end of my warranty. I went in right away and they informed me that they could not replace my lenses with the same product because it was on backorder indefinitely and they wouldnt even put me on a list. I had to settle for lenses that were easily half the price of the ones I had paid for a full warranty on, because they did not have a quality product equal to the value I had spent. They offered no compensation or extended warranty for my troubles and told me they would call me when they were in. When I went in for install and trade out for the new lenses they told me they understood my time constraints and then still took 30 minutes over the promised 1 hour and the product is nowhere near the quality of vision I am used to from the original expensive lenses.

I have to praise Mel at Visionworks on North Academy. I called Saturday before last to get an emergency eye exam because my husband broke my glasses the night before and I dont have my prescription anymore. They got me in that afternoon. The lenses I ordered would not be in for 5-7 days, however that Monday I was set to move to michigan. Mel put basic lenses in for me to pick up on Monday for our drive free of charge and sent my lenses to another visionworks out of state for me to pick up and they would put them in my glasses for me! Above and beyond! I even saved $ because they had a buy one get one deal on frames (: 5 stars!

Great service FINALLY! Many years of just picking out what I thought looked and felt ok for glasses. Nadine took the time to show me exactly what numbers to look for on the frame to get the best fit for daily & sun glasses, best fit after 20+ years of glasses! AND helped my son get his first 2 pair (back up necessary for a rough boy) She was very patient, it took us over 2 hours after 3 eye exams and 2 people picking out 4 pairs of glasses, had to order the lenses & took a week to get back, but for the price & quality of help it is worth it!

Ridiculous! Maybe they just did not like my easy going laughable nature. Had 6 days to ship before my vacation. I Got a call on Saturday, i reaffirmed that they were to be mailed to my residence . Called back 5 days later and glasses were still waiting at the shop to be picked up. The Gentleman assured my they should have been shipped, with out a call, the week prior. Now Im on the road and need to take my contacts out, however no glasses coupled with very bad eye sight. Thanks guys! glad I paid for this crap.

WORST F**KING CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! I have no cap on my spending limit per my insurance & the dumbass general manager wont help me because he "cant bill for that." I could have a $2000 pair of glasses if I wanted, how the hell am I being told I cant be helped!?! He wont talk to insurance lady on the phone either.. Damn straight I just caused a scene because these people are IDIOTIC, EXTREMELY RUDE & UNHELPFUL!!!!! Youre better off at Abba Eye Care.

Ask for Amanda Cool. She went to extra measures to help me find the right, and affordable frame. She was very professional and an expert in fitting my eyewear. Sadly, it is noticeable that there is some drama between employees and it does not appear to be a great place to work, (possibly due to poor management leadership?). Aside from that, if you want to get great glasses and customer service, ask for Amanda Cool. It is worth the wait.

They SAY they are "In Network" and they even ACT like they are "In Network" with VSP but in fact they are not. If youre on VSP insurance go staight to the VSP website, spare yourself all this baloney and save another 50% on glasses with a true VSP provider (not an out-of-network biller), of which there are many in-town...

No one would help to find glasses, I can not see without my glasses so help is always nice. They never were right after a couple times of trying (getting new lenses twice), I finally went to the other one and they got it correct. I would go to the south store only. Never have had a good experiance here.

For the cheapest eye exam in town, you would expect to get what you pay for; not at vision works. Staff, including the doctors, are always friendly, courteous, and professional. They get you in and out quicky while still getting the job done. Cant recommend them enough

Never spent as much on glasses before, they never called me to pick up my glasses when they where ready and didnt offer any cleaning products free like Pearl did. Not my recommendation, go to Pearl, Americas Best or somewhere else.

I walked in, saw a smaller selection than expected, but looked around anyway. I was ignored by the four staff present - they werent busy with customers, they were busy chatting and joking around themselves. I walked back out.
