My chiropractic patient and friend recently began attending care at Salud Commerce City which he picked for primary care after a hospitalization for a serious brain infection. His medical power of attorney is my office manager; however, I am witness to the atrocity of the quality of care and attention hes received over the last four months. The only one that listened was his case manager. The first appointment was with the N.P. who pretended to care but didnt even request his records from the hospitals he stayed in or from his specialist doctors who were actively treating him and ordering ongoing MRIs. The case manager handled it and got the patient an appointment with the M.D., being that the need for orders for prescription medication was being overlooked by nurse practitioner. The M.D. wasnt much more helpful, because at the time he was needing mood stabilization from the effects of his brain infection, he and the behavioral health department of Salud were working together to form a diagnosis and treatment plan, to include a medication at the request of his care/home companion and medical durable poa. and what was indicated from the recent hospitalizations where he was receiving tranquilization, because he had brain lesions and having mental issues because of it. The problem was that with the list of symptom and behaviors exhibited frequently that I have witnessed first-hand to be exact and true, and what my office manager was reporting to the Ph.D. he was seeing over the course of weeks, and the urgency she emphasized that medication was immediately needed, his counselor, where she should have hospitalized him according to this symptoms, simply prolonged his analysis by a visit frequency of every two weeks, and each time there was no prescription written to medicate his illness. What terrible malpractice issues these are. I am a doctor. I realize this. Why dont those professionals realize what they are doing?

There are great people who work there but unfortunately the system there is terrible. Today I had an appointment and I was running late, which I take full responsibility for. But at 7:32am I began to call many times and my appointment was at 7:40am. The reason why I kept calling was because I wanted to let them know I was running late and to ask if I needed to reschedule. So every time I called the recorded message kept saying the clinic was closed!!! So after calling like seven times I finally arrive 12 minutes late to my appointment. When I walk in all the lights at the entrance are turned off and no one at the front desk to guide the patients where they needed to go. I assumed I had to go to the blue sitting area because thats where I always get told to go, when I go to my appointments during afternoon hours. When I arrived to the blue sitting area someone finally tells me I was supposed to go to the red sitting area. I go to the red sitting area and was asked to fill out some information and after I finished I was told I couldnt be seen. I understand that, but I also strongly believe the phones should be answered the moment the clinic opens (7:30am). If Someone had answered the million phone calls I made, I would have rescheduled and saved not only my disappointment but also the trouble of driving all the way their to realize how unorganized and terrible their customer service is. I say that because I find it ridiculous that the clinic opens at 7:30am and patients are scheduled during that time but the phone calls are not answered until after 8:00am. Like I mentioned before, there are great doctors who work there and who care about the patients but the clinic needs more organization when communicating with patients.

These crazy comments about being rude and horrible customer service are outrageous. One thing is rude service from the front, another thing is rude talking from the any person coming in, think about it this way if youre rude to the person that wants to help you out, you shun their great care away. This is a great facility and I know it has helped a lot within the community, if YOU dont like it(hater comments) thats ok, there are plenty, plenty, plenty, millions of facilities in which you can get your care, this is not the only clinic in the State, I said millions because with the rudeness from you, you can get seen out of state, I dislike seeing people being rude to anybody, just because youre a person getting seen shouldnt give you the right to humiliate anybody, this is vise versa. Returning to the clinic, wonderful place in where if they can save you money, theyll find a way to do it. Every time I get seen I do have to wait and it could be a while too, but at the end of the day I enjoyed the care that I received and totally recommend this place to anybody that would like to form part of it.

Salud Clinics came to my rescue a year ago when I was diagnosed with Diabetes but none of the doctors I called would take new patients, someone without insurance, etc. I had gotten run-arounds for several days of constant calling. They saw me, set me up with CICP so I could afford it, and took care of me. Now my medications cost me less than $18 a month, when it would have been $200 or more without them. Yesterday I called for a friend who is showing all the signs of being a Type-2 diabetic. He had been getting the same run-around, and when I tried to get him a doctors appt. elsewhere, I spent 2 hours getting excuses and bureaucracy. Then I finally called Salud. In 5-10 minutes, he had an appointment for the very next morning. Someone might complain about waiting or the receptionist being a bit snitty because theyre taking care of a lot of people, but they have come through, literally been life-savers twice now, for me and for my friend. The treatment from the medical staff is solid and they really do seem to care. I cant possibly thank Salud enough!

I made an appointment to the dentist there at the Clinic and it was set 2 months in advanced. I got a call one day before my appointment saying that the hygienist was not going to be in. This is very unprofessional. I take me a day off for this stupid appointment and they have to reschedule it! How do they not know that the hygienist is not going to be in that day? Why make the appointments?! So then I go to my rescheduled appointment and I am sitting there waiting for about an hour once I am in the dentist chair. I thought they were doing the routine check up AND cleaning. Nope turns out it was just a check up. I had to make another appointment for the cleaning! So I made it 3 weeks in advanced and again I was called, but this time it was one the same day 1 HOUR before the appointment saying "the hygienist is not going to be in." They rescheduled me. I dont think I will be going in, this is ridiculous. Dont go here it is a waste of TIME!

Awful front-line staff. Seriously every time I went there I was given rude looks, spoken to very shortly and unprofessionally, and they went out of their way to help other people before me. They called on the next person in Spanish that was standing behind me and helped them first! Another thing, I called in advanced and was told it was just a 3 minute wait. I left work early to swing in and be seen, and when I got there I was told it was a 2 hour wait! I explained this to them, and the response I got was "Well I guess they didnt update their system" Really?? Thats a sorry response. In my opinion, management needs to tighten up and fire all of the receptionists and schedulers they have an hire a whole new staff. Ive experienced this sort of service on multiple occasions, with multiple workers. I will not even consider going there again. So cold and unwelcoming.
