This is my 3rd review of this business. Unfortunately I could not find my first 2 reviews or I would have updated them. I would give ZERO stars if possible. *** Since 2015 I have been in constant contact with Colorado Pain and their parent company Arizona Pain Specialists who does all of their billing/invoicing. For the past 3 years I have been having constant problems with this company double (and sometimes triple charging me) for services which have previously been paid in full! I will guarantee that if you begin looking at your statements and tracking the charges that you are paying each month, then compare them to new invoices you receive you too will realize that you are being charged for items that you have previously paid. I am confident!! Everyone needs to check your statements thoroughly each and every month!!! (I make copies of every statement, reflecting actual new charges and charges that have been previously paid. I pay all new charges IN FULL every month. I make copies of my checks that they cash and include copies of those in certified letters to prove that I pay all new charges in full every month. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY, but here is the thing... I have spoken to their billing manager countless times, he NEVER has an answer for me other than "your account shows you owe $____. Im sorry." I have met with the local office manager - provided her with copies of each statement, each cashed check... I even asked her if I was the only one complaining of being double and triple billed. She said NOTHING, which says EVERYTHING. I have talked to Dr Moghim, the CO Pain branch manager who assured me he would fix the issues we were having. We agreed that if the issues got resolved I would update my Google review of this company, which I assured him I would. You guys, it has been 3 years, I have gotten NO where... except a notice I was being sent to collections for paying every statement in full each and every month. What a nightmare the past 3 years have been!!! What is even more incredibly sad is that there are really phenomenal Doctors at Co Pain that are tied to the overlying, cheating, stealing, deceitful, unwilling to help, unwilling to change their lying/stealing/cheating ways parent company "Arizona Pain Specialists" and it is giving these awesome doctors a REALLY bad reputation. It is NOT ok. [**Last year I posted a review similar to this one. I was called by Dr. Moghim who asked me if I would update my review if they fixed the billing issues. Absolutely!! For a period of 4 months there were 0 double billing issues on my statements. My husband posted an updated review. Then in May 2016 it all started again. I received an invoice for $389. Actually only owed $319. The rest was previously paid in April. June-Oct invoices reflected only new charges. All were paid in full and did not contain any double charges. December... I received a statement for $226. I actually only owed $175. The remainder was previously paid in full in October. Jan 2017, I opened a statement dated 1/3, there were 4 charges, 3 of which were TRIPLE billed for charges paid in full back in October, the other charge was previously paid on the 12/2016 statement. TODAY I opened a statement dated 2/3/2017, again with the same 4 charges on the Jan statement. I have called the billing dept, left voice messages, spoken to customer service reps.. all did NOTHING!] Bottom line = This is NOT OK. Do not give this company 1¢ more than you owe them. No way in hell would I recommend this place to anyone. Due to these dishonesty issues alone we no longer receive pain treatment from this company. Loved the Drs but it wasnt worth the headaches, billing nightmares and threats of being sent to collections for owing NOTHING.

Having had been a patient at Colorado Pain for several years I had always received quality care. I believe that when Dr Jason Krutsch and his partner came into the practice, they brought the newest of technology and standards of ethics with them that are in place in this particular discipline of medicine for a reason. I have been reading some of these reviews from people who obviously had discrepancies about the pain medication contracts and/or failed urinalysis results and felt the need to comment on my personal experience with Dr Krutsch and his practice. It is very easy to get into a cycle where providers offer no other alternative treatment for pain other than prescription medication and it can cause a dangerous and unhealthy dependence on those medications, plain and simple. I am so grateful that I was able to have the opportunity to see how detrimental relying ONLY on prescription medications for pain relief of any condition can be. I feel that Jason Krutsch is not only one of the best doctors Ive ever seen but by far one of the most ethical. I feel that as a consumer in health care, isnt this what people would want? Apparently for some, no. I will always have a high opinion of Dr Jason Krutsch for his honesty, his compassion and his vast knowledge of this particular discipline. I trust him him implicitly. Although I am not longer a patient of his, I will and HAVE recommended him several times to other people. With all due respect to the individuals who have posted about thier negative experiences , I have to be somewhat suspect of your situations - although I feel compassion for all whove posted of course. Please proofread your testimonials as well before posting as it is quite obvious most have chosen not to- your messages are completely lost on the reader because one cannot even understand the point you are tying to make. Prescription medication should NEVER be the "only" thing that help , with the advancement of medical technology and science.... Bring your records, bring the required paperwork, be ready! The system is no longer one where your verbal statements are enough and quite frankly, thats good. Prescription drug abuse is a huge epidemic in this country because so! The reform is in place to avoid potentially unhealthy situations. If you truly are someone who has a legitimate issue, with the records and documentation to prove so, you should have very little problems in finding SOMEONE... But be prepared to do your part , find out what exactly is required, and what they expect... I have heard people on Medicaid do have a tougher time and for that I am TRULY sorry to hear. With that being said, my thoughts are with those who seem to really be struggling and suffering, I wish you nothing but peace...

Let me start with a little history. Living with pain is depressing. It will consume you, it can control you and it can ruin and push away the people that are closest to you. I have been in serious pain for the better part of my adult life. Finding a facility and a doctor that will listen to you and most importantly believe you when you say your in pain is daunting. We can thank all of the low life people out there that take advantage of our system for that. The less then moral people and doctors in our world have made it difficult and embarrassing for people like me. It is embarrassing for me to confess to people the pain I live in and that I must rely on prescription medications to lead a normal life, play with my children and not allow the pain to consume me. I have to remind myself that it is not my fault and that I am not a horrible person because of it everyday. That being said, the Doctors and staff at Colorado Pain are excellent! They care, they are intelligent and they are human. Most importantly, they do not look down upon me nor do they make me feel guilty or label me as another pill seeker. They have done an outstanding job managing my pain. Dr. Krutsch is an exceptional person. He is genuine and he cares. I am lucky to have him and his staff working for me. I post this review today because I want to follow up and update upon a recent review that was made by my wife. Unfortunately it had come to the point that we posted a google review with disgust in our hearts, because it truly does not reflect the image that is deserving of the staff at CO Pain. The billing side of CO Pain is a disaster and an embarrassment that reflects upon CO Pain. The impossible to understand billing invoices have caused strife in our home. We had hit a wall dealing with the 3rd party that handled the billing, as the previous post stated. We have recently been contacted personally by Dr. Moghim and we have been assured that this issue would be handled. I have since been contacted by another staff member from Colorado Pain also working with us to insure an end to this issue. Finally the person in charge of the billing has contacted us, all in a matter of 2 days. While there is much to be resolved with the billing department, I wanted to take the time to express my thanks again to the staff at CO Pain for helping us resolve this issue. I want to reassure anyone out there that may be looking for a facility to help with pain management that you will not find a better staff then I have at Colorado Pain.
