Stay FAR away from this place!!!!!!!! I had hoped to find relief for my chronic pain. Instead I left the office insulted and upset. Wish I could get the wasted time back. I made an appointment online 7 days in advance. Over a holiday weekend while I was traveling, I received a voicemail from receptionist Allison calling to confirm my 3:45pm appointment. I called back the following week and left a voicemail with my name and phone number, confirming I would see them the following day for my 3:45pm appointment. I also said if it was not confirmed, to please call me back with an updated time or date. I received no follow up call the next day, and my ZocDoc profile still had the appointment confirmed so I assumed it was a go. In fact, I received the usual text/email reminders from Zocdoc. I assumed that if this HCP uses the Zoc Doc service, than we were both operating off of the same calendar. Apparently not! When I arrived at 3:35pm to check in for my 3:45pm appointment, Allison in reception informed me it was actually a 3 pm appointment and I had missed it. I expressed my confusion and referenced the multiple Zocdoc confirmations. "Thats a separate system," she said. Extent of her explanation. Hmm. Why bother using ZocDoc scheduler if it isnt actually accurate? Allison then told me - very matter-of-factly - that she had called and left a voicemail moving it to 3pm. I still had the voicemail on my phone from her from the previous Friday, and she never referenced any time other than 3:45pm, i pointed out. "BUT i asked you to call me back," she cut me off. I told her that I did and left the voicemail the day before. She then told me "Well we have no way of knowing who gets what voicemail." So if you didnt listen to it, it didnt exist? You have no record of me calling you? She then went back to see if Dr. Rentz would see me then. Clearly he was not with a patient since she walked right into his office to explain the situation. Then Allison returned and asked for my insurance card and credit card. I said, "Can he see me now? Is that okay?" Oh, on the contrary! Allison told me she needed my insurance and credit card for a missed appointment charge! Can you imagine the audacity?! I promptly left. My two questions for this practice - why bother implementing software tools if your staff doesnt properly manage them? Im not only referring to Zocdoc but also telephone answering machines. Secondly, if 3pm came and went with no sign of me, why would no one at least give me a phone call to let me know that I had missed the appointment and attempt to reschedule? I had already filled out all of the online paperwork and RMPS had received it prior to the appointment, indicating I had every intention of being present. The most belittling part of this exchange was that Allison was rude to me in front of the entire waiting room, and never once apologized for the inconvenience or miscommunication. She kept turning my questions around to try and make me look like the one at fault! One would hope when seeking a pain management specialist, that their staff has received sensitivity training to be especially understanding to patients dealing with chronic pain. I get a warmer welcome at Safeway or the post office than I received from Allison. When you live in chronic pain, you have to conserve your energy accordingly. I left work early and drove 30 minutes to this appointment, praying Dr. Rentz could help. Interacting with Allison truly was insult added to injury.

No stars for this organization. I have been on Medicaid for the last two months following a life time of holding a "respectable" insurance policy. It was "heartwarming" to hear that Rocky Mountain Pain Solutions does indeed respect people who have fallen on "hard times", but do they really?? Because of my Medicaid status, this business has placed me in the class of bottom feeder, thankless and undeserving folk. What I am allowed: a procedure done on my neck involving frying my nerves in an effort to stop the unbearable pain I am in. That is the extent of the medical attention that I will receive. What I am not allowed: Any consultation with any doctor. Any doctors time in reviewing my over 5 years of medical records I have provided. No effort to see if the Botox injections I have found to be the only procedure that has worked for me after years of trying other methods are possible. The lack of effort is directly associated with the fact that the office staff has never seen Medicaid to approve the Botox so, really what is the point of trying. Absolutely no prescriptions due to the fact, as I was informed, only a small number of Medicaid clients can get prescriptions since it is so labor intensive, the rest of us just have to suffer with our pain. This baffles me as I didnt think that writing a prescription was extremely taxing. This is just a list off the top of my head of treatment options that are not available to me as a Medicaid person. I would never recommend Rocky Mountain Pain Solutions. The staff is amazingly rude and non empathetic. I wonder if they have ever suffered chronic pain.. All of this, in my opinion, comes down to money, no money, no help.

Me and my wife had the displeasure of coming into this clinic in the hopes of having my back pain being managed.Instead I got a rude experience from beginning to end. The wait for the doctor who took over an hour and a half, sitting in the waiting room you could hear the Dr I was waiting on was yelling at staff and was extremely impatient. I waited another half hour after being check into the room from someone who could care less about doing her job efficiently and trying to ask questions as quickly as possible to go back to her desk and laugh aloud with the othe staff in which I could hear from the room. When Dr.brown finally came into the room he was short and did not seem to care about how my back pain has been affecting me, pushing injections and high dose medication. He never once apologized for the wait and was very short. I would absolutely never recommend this clinic to anyone and to stay far away from this place. Unprofessional, rude and a waste of time!

Nice office and professional staff. This is not a pain management clinic but a injection center. If your looking PT or spinal adjustments and a MD to manage your meds this not the place. I went with new pain in my shoulder and he wouldnt look at it and said the neck injectons would help diagnose if it was just a pinched nerve. A physical therapist can diagnose a rotator cuff injury without injectons. The Doc wanted two mri exams to justify the injectons and thats a good thing but expensive. He was an osteopath so just wanted an spinal adjustment. Im sure these guys are good at what they do but make sure you need injectons and have the money because they will run up the tab. If you want start conservative go to a traditional pain clinic. I was upset that I drove 120 miles round trip and got no diagnosis and treatment. My mistake because I assumed the osteopath could at least give an adjustment.
