I should sue for medical malpractice because of all the mishandled issues my family and Ive encountered while using PCHC as our medical provider. Ive had numerous problems with appt scheduling, getting follow up care is impossible, they rarely call you and tell you the results of your labs. Ive gone there for a very severe uti, where I was urinating blood and after I finished my round of antibiotics, my infection hadnt cleared. I had to go to the ER because when I called to tell PCHC about needing more antibiotics, I wasnt called back until after 5 and it was too late then to make an appointment that day. They never called my husband about his test results to determine if he had kidney stones (hopefully he doesnt, it would have been nice to know for sure though) and when my husband went to have his burst eardrum checked out, he was told his ear was dirty and sent home without any follow up or testing done on his hearing. Just a bit pissed off that this seems to be a huge issue in Pueblo. I have asthma and have been in and out of the ER several times, but when I call to schedule a follow up, its weeks before Im scheduled. Ive asked for refills on my asthma meds, still havent heard back from PCHC and my rescue inhaler is almost empty. I refuse to ever use PCHC again. Honestly, if yall didnt provide a much needed service to the poorest members of Pueblo, Id sue your pants off for the multitude of issues Ive had and the poor quality of care my family has received. One of these days, PCHC isnt going to be so lucky and theyre going to to kill someone with their negligence.

Been coming to the health Center for 15 yrs. For health care and Ive ran into a rude doctor or two but Ive noticed the turn over rate for the rude doctors is high. . This is not a private practice wher the Doctors are making crazy amounts of money. Allot of the staff are doing internships and a lot off the Doctors are their volunteering their time and the ones who do get paid dont make allot...Ive been lucky to have had two wonderful Doctors the last ten years after I Injured my spine, they are very understanding and I believe they care about me and my ongoing health care. .for people to sit back and just dog on the Free or extremely discounted heath care they receive because they ran into a couple rude people in my opinion is very disrespectful when you look at the whole scope of what this place is trying to do for you for free... Yea they make mistakes but you have to understand if you cannot obtain heath care from a private practice by working and paying for your health care thees people are hear to help you.. for free.... so I just want to say you never know whats going on In someones life.. the heath care workers at PCHC see allot of people who are extremely rude...Please try to show some appreciation because you never know if that person is volunteering their time to make sure you and your baby are healthy....Or to make sure you get the antibiotics you need....Thanks PCHC for all your hard work to keep me and my family healthy

I had my first appointment at the Pueblo Community Health Center today and I dont know what to say other than it was a class act across the board. I was immediately greeted with a brief intake completed. I sat down and within minutes I was called back (right on time). The nurse took some initial info. & vitals. The PA came in, thoroughly assessed and responded. She walked me back and seamlessly passed me to lab who promptly did what they needed to do and passed me back to the PA who told me she would be contacting me with results as soon as they were available. Everyone was very professional, helpful, and seemed to have my best interest at heart. Thank you!

Just horrible experience...nursing staff was ok but the doctor that came in the room was just so rude and unprofessional that I felt sick to my stomach and had to get up and leave. Dr. Caroline had no etiquette, she said she had limited time (although I booked mine and my husbands appt together, so she had 1 hr with us) then she freaks and says she cant deal with my kids and wants my husband to sit in another room while she talks to me so that was it, she was in the room not even 2 minutes and I couldnt stand her so I got up and left. I am not giving my money to some jerk. Obviously she has problems she needs to see a doctor for.

When youre calling to try and make an appointment and have to wait 27+ minutes on hold just to talk to somebody, then something clearly needs to be done. Getting symptoms brushed off by care providers and then blaming patients for a prescription getting lost (even though it was supposed to be faxed) is horrible patient care. These are only a FEW of the problems my family has had with this facility. The only reason Im even willing to give the one star required as a minimum is because the nursing staff is kind and caring, unlike the actual primary care providers.

I dont appreciate having to wait a month to see a physician (Dr Nolan) only to have her nurse leave a voice mail to cancel the appointment as Im walking up to the building. I only needed to see her to get a referral for a dermatologist as I have an alarming chunk of melanoma on my back. As I was standing there getting the news another nurse came out and told a gentleman who also had an appointment that they couldnt see him at all after he had also shown up for an appointment. The look on that old mans face was heartbreaking.

This place is a joke and I wish I could get in ANYWHERE ELSE. the midwives have group mentality and share your personal information with each other (pat and valerie) and everyone else is just LAZY. Ive had to self diagnose on multiple occassions. You never see your own dr so no one one is familiar with your medical history and your designated primary you dont see for months. Soon as I can get in somewhere else I will, everyone else should do the same.

They do well for a busy healthcare center but communication between the staff needs improvement. I was left in a patient room for an hour cuz the nurses forgot we were there... Otherwise theyre great!

I gave a 2 because I started Acudetox. Its wonderful & helps. But it seems like the reception desk has no idea. Stupidity. Or just laziness.????? Someones always dropping the ball. Dang

I have only recently been seen by PCHC and except for some young receptionist girls being not very knowledgeable my experience here has been positive so far.
