Think of a Doctor in your life who was of most help to you - listening, caring, emphatic, not hurried and knew what he was talking about. Dr. Joseph Solder at Pinnacle Medical Group 75th Street Bradenton, Florida is THAT kind of Doctor. I was lucky Dr. Joseph Solder got on a weekend shift. Although I am reading all Doctors at Pinnacle are posed the same wonderful way. This Doctor patched me up right quick, performed some of the duties that would be passed off to a nurse (I noted) and knew his medicine. The fact I showed up fifteen minutes before closing, I was treated as if they had all day. [Im a busy author so I did that on purpose, I wanted to get in and out]. Pinnacle Medical Group on 75th Street Bradenton, Florida is TRUE urgent care...and no wait is really long from what I know. Dont EVEN consider Urgent Care on Manatee Avenue, Bradenton Florida because that is a different place and mainly ran by a nurse practitioner who (after they take your $100 cash) they force you to wait FOUR HOURS on most days and make you pay UPFRONT they cannot really treat any obvious infection until a lab comes back a week later. Because they are not a Doctor!!! It is almost a joke and they legally do it to many people every day. Urgent Care, Manatee Avenue Bradenton, Florida if you show up with conjunctivitis the nurse practitioner will order every test under the sun, including, but not limited to kidney, liver, bladder - only to wait a week to find you have an infection in your eye (which would go untreated for another week.) So Urgent Care tries to market as if they have the same great medical services as Pinnacle Urgent Care and they do not. If you respect yourself and your time, go to Pinnacle Medical Group on 75th Street for true Urgent Care. Heart attack patients probably should go directly to Blake or closest hospital. :)

My wife fell on her left shoulder. Went into this establishment and basically was told they couldnt help her.....WITHOUT having any medical staff assess her injury!! The lady at the desk told us we may as well go to the emergency room because they couldnt do xrays without a doctors ordering same and if it was dislocated, they would have to send her to the emergency room anyway, so we would be "wasting our money" here! This was after telling them she is on Medicare and we have a Supplemental policy as well! And again, this was done without any examination by medical personnel!! Unbelievable!! We went to the emergency room at Blake and it was a zoo! We were told it would be a 2 hour wait to be seen by a doctor. We were at wits end. My wife recalled going by an Urgent Care on Manatee that had a big sign out front indicating they had been awarded a "Peoples Choice" award. So we headed there. This now was going on an hour or more since she fell. This is where things changed for the better! The folks at Bradenton Urgent Care could not have been nicer and any more professional. They got her in right away, took xrays and diagnosed her with a fractured clavicle. Gave us referral to an orthopedic doctor, instructions on what to do until we could get into him and a prescription for a figure-of-eight brace! In other words....they acted like they cared. Obviously, we know who to go to in the future! Have never had a worse experience with a so-called urgent care facility than Pinnacle. So surprising based on their reviews but this is what our experience was and we felt others should know.

It was a six month wait for my first appointment with Dr. Crager - which at the time made me wonder a bit if I even wanted to follow through with it. The wait was well worth it. For the first time in many years, a doctor truly listened and processed the information. His responses and questions told me that he was indeed hearing, discerning, and digging for substantive information in a goal-oriented fashion. Meaning - this guy is an able, experienced, diagnostician, and has the interest to solve problems. Those qualities/characteristics in doctors used to be not all that unusual in the "old" days. Now, however, medical care has downgraded to an almost "livestock" handling procedure of moveem in/moveem out. Not so with Dr. Crager. Hes meticulously thorough - with an added bonus of being pleasant about it all. Even personable. That, in and of itself, would cause me to give this guy 10 gold stars. But - theres more. Lab/xrays were ordered - and - everything is right there so you simply spend a bit more time and get everything done - by staff members that I truly enjoyed meeting. If you have a medical need in an area covered by the Pinnacle Medical Group - I believe you will do yourself and your health a favor by making an appointment with one of the doctors in this group. Oh yes - one last plus. If you are limited in any way (my vision is stinky) - the staff is "quietly alert" - meaning, theyve got your back. They will look out for you as you maneuver through the facility - you are in good hands there.

I had a sore throat most of the week before Thanksgiving and on the day before I decided to have it looked at around 6PM. The pain was unbearable and this was the only place still open in my area so I decided to try and get in before closing at 7PM. There was only another couple waiting when I arrived and started filling out the paperwork. I was called back for my vitals, etc., and sat in an exam room before I could finish the paperwork and shortly after the nurse practitioner on duty came in and I told her about my throat. She looked in my mouth and agreed with me that I had strep the evening before Thanksgiving, such a bummer! I agreed a swab wouldnt be necessary after she explained that the treatment would be the same regardless, and continued to finish the paperwork while she wrote the prescription and got me ready for checkout. I was soon paying my copay and finally turning in the paperwork, of which there wasnt very much. I am still very impressed at how effective, thorough, and genuine the care was that I received. This year I was thankful for this clinic because the prescription worked so well I was able to have a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family and even felt well enough to do some Black Friday shopping! Thanks so much for saving me time and money, keep up the good work. A+++++

Nurse Practitioner was great, that was it everything else was bad. I work for the Veterans Administration as a Nurse and if we treated people like they did we would be in the news! To bad civilian facilities arent graded like the VA as the do basically collect medicaid, Medicare and all big insurance companies are subsidised. I took my nineteen year old to the counter to get examined that had had a car accident 3 days trailer and now was having neck pain, as I was explaining this the girl stuck her hand up and said stop I cant talk to you because she is over 18 due to privacy act and while explaining that that privacy act states that she can not give me information I can give her all I want, then she said meat be you would do better at another facility sir or you can speak to my supervisor. Supervisor was the same did not understand the privacy act, and said we have enough business and would not miss yours after explaining what the front desk said. The only call people by first names that day in the waiting room so multiple people with same names were responding when called and people were confused. Bad experience but there small PvP clinics are good I will give them that.
