Last Monday, my Bichon Frise started vomiting. So I took him to another vet in Cocoa since it was closer. Long story short, they misdiagnosed him with stomach bacteria, prescribed expensive medicine (about $60 worth) and sent us home. The medicine worked one day, so I went back to Cocoa Vet on Wednesday. But after being advised that I should have called first, I got up and left and went to Rockledge Animal Clinic who saw me right away. Too bad I didnt go here first, but chose convenience instead because after checking his gums, which were pale pink, the Rockledge vet asked me did the other vet do the same thing on Monday because my dog was displaying signs of anemia. After ordering an immediate set of x-rays, they found my dog was bleeding internally and his body was feeding on itself. Despite their best efforts from monitoring him overnight, giving him fluids, a blood transfusion, surgery and even CPR, my dog died because he was just too weak by the time he arrived. Ive since researched my dogs illness and I discovered he had every symptom of anemia including a heart murmur, which the Cocoa vet noticed but chalked it up to an upset stomach.

Love the staff, my Chihuahua Tia gets so excited she loves going to see the girls and loves Dr Guttery & Cindi her groomer. My birds even jump in their carriers when they know they are going to see Jen to get their beaks and nails trimmed. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, they take time with you and your animals. If your looking for a excellent Vet & Groomer look no further.

I have been going to this vet for 15 years. They have always been there for me, at anytime. I would highly recommend them and the staff is awesome. My dog needed immediate care, they took me and my very sick dog overtime we needed them. He had a very long recovery, the patience and love from them and my family got him though. God Bless Cocoa Vet.

Dr Haney is by far the best vet out there .he is not only great with the animals often sitting on the floor with him,his bed side manner with owners is excellent!Jenny and Sky are my favorite techs as my dog is a pain when he goes in to get his nails cut and they do the best job with him!customer here for many years and many more to come.

I tried 2 different times to use this hospital because its close to my home. The first time the vet said he didnt have the right diagnostic equipment (no ultrasound at a vet hospital ?!?!) and the second time my cat was misdiagnosed altogether. I would not take another pet there.

Love this clinic! They treat my cats like they are their own. Dr Haney is the best! Got down on the floor to meet and calm my scared cats before he attempted to examine them. Staff is helpful and friendly.
