I normally dont give reviews, but in this case due to my very bad experience, I felt compelled to do so. Recently they changed their policy acceptance and fail to tell you in advance, so on the day I had the ultrasound done they informed me of these changes and I had to pay out of pocket knowing that my insurance covers the whole procedure 100%. I complained with them but their response was it is what it is. After that I was told the day before I had a procedure I needed to pay $1100.00 and with the same story that once they submitted to the Insurance I will have my money back, due to past experience I cancelled all my appointments with them and looked for another Doctor. Its been more than 30 days and still no response from them. I had to change doctors because I did not trust their opinion, once I did this I asked for my medical records and its been 2 weeks and they still have not sent the information to my new Doctor. I have called 6 times and they always have a new story about why they have not sent the information, I am starting to wonder what they do with the information, do they have it? Did it get lost? Why can they release it to the new doctor? Does the admin office know what they are doing? To me is not normal. Now, ask yourself would you trust someone that is not being honest and direct with you? If you are a Doctor, arent you supposed to care about your patients and take time to explain everything so they feel comfortable? Arent you supposed to follow up with them, so they can keep coming back to you? If you have unhappy patients arent you supposed to at least acknowledge their situation and try to make it better so you can have more referrals? Well I guess for Dr. Victoria and associates this is not the case, based on my experience and other reviews I read they simply DO NOT CARE. In the meantime, I will still have to continue to harass them in order to get my info to the new doctor. I do not recommend them.

She is a horrible Doctor. I wish I had read her reviews before going to see her. I made an appointment a month in advance but waited over 45 minutes and was seen by the nurse practitioner because Victoria was too busy to see me. I was told if I wanted to see the doctor I would have to schedule another appointment. The medical assistants were rude when I said I was on my lunch break and did not want to be reprimanded by my employer for taking too long. When I finally saw the nurse practitioner she was condescending. I requested medication that I have been prescribed for over 10 years and this medical professional lied to my face and said the medication was not prescribed for my condition and they would be breaking the law by doing so. When I went home that night and did research I found that it is one of the most commonly prescribed medications for my condition. As for my yearly exam everything came back perfect but they insisted I come back for an ultra sound. I have never been asked to do this before, especially with a healthy pap. They went as far as only prescribing birth control pills for three months so I would come back. I have never had a doctor only give me 3 months worth of birth control pills. Typically your doctor will send 6-12 month refills. All over the office I was bombarded by advertising of the doctors new cosmetic surgery procedures. I was even told about them by the medical assistants. I am disgusted. Obviously this doctor cares more about making money than her patients. She is also aware of her bad status online because I was given a notice by the medical assistants on where to give the doctor a good review online. How about just being a better doctor? Do yourself a favor and go to a professional with a degree from a reputable university.

On October 23, 2015 I had a medical procedure at Dr. Garcias office and they asked me for a $1,250.00 deposit in case my insurance wouldnt covered the entire charge. I was supposed to get it back in around 30 days. My insurance approved part of the claim, exactly $3,328.81 of the 4,320.00 they asked for, on 12/06/15. I called the office to check when I was getting the refund but they didnt have an answer. On January 14, 2016 after more than 20 calls and no answer I had to go the office and ask for an explanation. Cathleen the supervisor told me that the billing department was going to re-submit the claim for the rest of the money. I called my insurance the week after to check on the status and they told me the request hasnt been made. I waited the 30 days that Cathleen had told me I had to wait again. On February 15, 2016 I called Cathleen and asked her for and update and she told me she didnt had an answer. So by now has been 123 days and I still have no idea when am I getting my money back. After I did some research I found out that if I have HMO Insurance, that I do, they are not supposed to charge me anything and they are doing what is call Balance Billing that it is against Florida Statues. My insurance explain me that they only need my medical records to approve this claim but Dr. Garcias office hasnt done anything. UPDATE 04/06 Thanks to Ciro Garcia I got my deposit back. It looks like they finally got somebody that it is competent and that knows how to work with customers unfortunately they didnt do it before, I might still be their client. Hope good luck to all patients!
