I went to see Dr. Oria after moving to the area to establish myself as a new patient. Carmen was very helpful in following up with my out-of-state insurance to make sure I would be covered. Once confirmed, she was able to fit me in a week after my call and I found the paperwork to be quick and painless to fill out. Estefania called me in to the exam room on time and I quickly saw Dr. Oria. I was there to inquire about IUD and he spent a lot of time explaining to me my options and things to consider. I found him to be very thorough and although he gave professional recommendations, he was not pushy or close-minded. Before I left he renewed my pill prescription before I even had to ask and kindly requested that I let him know what I decide to do regarding the options. He set realistic expectations for timeliness and experience. I would definitely recommend his teams services to my friends.

STAY FAR AWAY.... we waited hours for Oria to show up to the ED and by the time I was in emergency surgery he couldnt save my ovary. I had over a liter of blood in my abdomen and instead of taking his time and removing it all I am still walking around with a swollen bloated belly. He wrote in my hospital notes that I was pain med seeking- I was shaking and chattering my teeth in pain, my vitals out the roof and he says "your insurance isnt going to justify another day in the hospital". 1) I didnt have insurance 2) why would you say something like that to a patient 3) why in the world would you think I would want to be laid up in the hospital on my birthday. Just absolute horrible care. He refused to see me post care and the office never deducted the fee (surgery fee includes post op visit).

They are very unprofessional and uncaring in my opinion & experience. I went there and the doctor found a lump in my breast. I went for a mammogram & breast & pelvic ultra sound. It took me calling them after they had my results for 2 days to get the wrong diagnosis read to me! Then they didnt even bother to call with the results from my pelvic scan!! The staff doesnt do what they say they are going to either. Example, faxes never get sent somehow.... I would suggest looking elsewhere for a good OBGYN.

Discharge from practice for canceling appt at the last minute. Call office on emergency basis once I arrived I was cramping too bad to stay also I had 3 children in tow all over the place, so I told the receptionist Id have to reschedule when I called back I had been discharge. If you cancel last minute they will discharge you. To be honest I believe the office is not accomdating to African Americans.

All experiences prior to today were fine. There was an issue with my insurance but no one called to tell me prior so I had to take care of it there. The girl up front was very rude and not willing to help at all. Very cold and not welcoming. The supervisor was nice but didnt help to resolve the issue. I am not going to another doctor to have the mirena THEY inserted removed.

Has anyone had a hysterectomy done from any of the doctors from here. I need one they have not call me yet to set up a day and time. Im a little nervous just want to make sure there good doctors to do a surgery like this thank you to who ever can respond back. Im just giving a two right now Im new and only been in the office about 2 times

Dr. Oria is an honest and practical doctor. He took care of me and gave me all the information I needed when I had to decide to have my hysterectomy. Surgery went great as was my post op care. I will continue to see him annually and would recommend him to anyone I know.
