I would like to share my experience to those of you who are searching for a family dentist. Years ago, I had an extremely bad experience with a dentist in South Florida, and with that, I was scared for years to resume care of my teeth. My teeth were in such poor condition, that I became a recluse and did not want to be seen in public. I have been searching for a dentist for 1 year. In this search, I have been through 6 consultations with 6 different dentists. What I was looking for was a receptionist that did not look down at me when I walked in the door, a dental technician that did not give me a look of disgust, and a dentist that did not consider me to be a freak. I just let my teeth go, because I was scared to go back to the dentist and then...... I found ~~~ Dr. Dalinda Canela-Pichardo. I recently had extensive work done. Dr. Canela-Pichardo and her staff treated me with respect, gave me a chairside manner that made me feel human and gave me back such a beautiful smile in my life. I truly want to thank Dr. Canela-Pichardo and her staff, and I hope those who review this site will understand that there still is a doctor and a doctors staff like these true professionals, that give the old fashioned care that a patient is looking for.

Ive been in need of dental care for some time with a tooth missing next to one of my front teeth. Ive been very self conscience about this missing tooth and then recently I had an accident and lost one of my front teeth as well. Now I was in a real bad situation and had to do something quick. Dr. Dalinda as I call her had been a customer of mine for over 8 years one of several dentists in my portfolio. I saw how she ran her business and how others ran theirs and there was no comparison at least for me. While the others were good Dr. Dalinda stood out to me because of her caring and personal demeanor along with her staff. We always had a good relationship and she was always easy to connect with and talk to. After calling her and telling her what happened she told me to come right in realizing my urgency ( I had been out of work for 3 months and was going on many interviews at this time ) and in 2 days she had my smile looking better than it ever has before!!! I am so grateful to her for her kindness and good nature I felt compelled to tell everyone I could about her and I urge everyone to call her office if you are in need of a great dentist. Thank you for doing such an amazing job and giving me my confidence back again. YOUR AWESOME!!!!!!!

The place is nice and the doctor is great with professionally done services but watch out when it come to reimbursement of your money. They will give you the run around and say wait 3 days it will be in your account, that never comes. Call them back and the only one person that can handle that is conveniently either never there or always busy when you call. Then conveniently after weeks of waiting to get a hold of them again when they had your repayment information in their hand and wrote the information down themselves they missed just one number and your payment did not got through and back around on the sleezy tactics again. Unfortunately I am not the only one that had to deal with situations like these. I thought they gave great service so i recommended them to two other people and now they are having similar repayment and convenient forgetting of double charges. I will be glad to never deal with this place again for such unprofessional customer service when dealing with matters of money and there is more to the story. Ohhh and by the way as of this writing since December of last year I still have not received the correct reimbursement. BEWARE!!!!

Was referred to the Dr. and office by a fellow co-worker. From the time I walked in, their attention and customer service was excellent. Friendly, courteous, and attentive, they went out of their way to make me feel at ease and managed my insurance matters so professionally. The dental technician Mary was awesome and very caring, taking time to explain things and apologizing for the only time that I felt any discomfort at all. The x-rays were a much more pleasant experience than I have had at other dentists. Dr. Canela has a very nice personality and again, went through an extensive explanation and diagnosis of my teeth, condition, etc. No one "likes" going to a dentist, but if you are looking for a very good one, I think that you cant go wrong with Dr. Canela-Piuchardos office.

Who ever likes going to the dentist? For many years I refused or hated going to the dentist, afraid of the pain it would incur. Until one day my friend recommended Dr. Canela, DDS. Ever since two years ago, am happy to be her patient and will continue to be for many years. Her staff is so professional and kind, they will treat you like family. Dr. Canela, is patient, takes her time in addressing all of your concerns, and understand that going to the dentist doesnt have be a negative experience. I can truly say she is the greatest reason for my smile. Thank you and I highly recommend Dr. Canela and her caring staff to anyone.

After dealing with a few other dentist offices in the area this office is over the top amazing! The staff is eager to help vs. another office down the road that I will leave unnamed. They make sure you aprove the price AND put it all in detailed writing before they start the work. When I frist walked in, the waiting room feels open and warm like somone cared about the space. Clean but comfortable chair rooms. They have updated technology. I get text reminders (LOVE that) Gentle and personal dental care is on the bisness card and I can say it is 100% the turth!

Grateful for having found such a gem in Hollywood. I was in pain from a bad tooth. My regular dentist told me to wait two weeks because they had no available appointments. Then I called DR. Dalinda, her staff was superb and professional they got me IN on that very day I called. This was yesterday. And today I feel great! Thank you so very much..... I will now be a letting go of my none caring dentist and Dr. Dalinda will now be my dentist. If I could give 7 stars I would. Her office is a real Gem in Hollywood, fl.

I love coming here! I have been for a few years. Im scared of dentist and it took me a while to find one Ill actually trust and like. Their staff is beyond awesome! Always pleasant and nice and accommodating. I honestly have no complaints. I live in Miami and although is far, its totally worth the drive. Even when I lived in homestead I still came all the way here to be seen. You guys are the best! Just came from my cleaning and thanks to Dr. Dalinda and her Hygenist, my teeth are doing well :D.

I called earlier today and a gentleman answered the phone I was placed on hold for 15 minutes then was hung up. when I called back it went to voicemail. Your front desk is the first contact a new patient has with your office and they will either keep patients coming back or wanting to schedule or not call back and tell others of the poor service received. I have heard good things about the dentist but Im not sure Id want to deal with a staff that is unfriendly.
