1/18/17 If I could give less than 1 star I would. I arrived shortly after 10am knowing without an appointment I could have a long wait. When I walked in the man at the counter (Longer dark hair in a ponytail) said "Welcome to LabCorp" to which some ladies giggled. That seemed to make the guy at the counter angry. The ladies said they had been waiting for over an hour but since I didnt have an appointment I figured it might take that long. Watching him process 1 client every 30 minutes was just ridiculous. The lab tech came up and sat down to wait for him to do so. At one point he said, “The people are starting to get obnoxious!” Let me tell you, while waiting I watched the man, play on his phone, while laughing and texting or surfing. He wasn’t processing the people who were waiting for labs; they were sitting for up to two hours before he’d call them up to process their paperwork. He would talk down to or be very rude to clients who had been waiting for over an hour. For example one woman had been there nearly 2 hours when she asked how much longer it would be, because she was fasting and she was starving, to which the guy actually yelled at her, he didn’t talk he yelled “Oh you’re not starving, there are people in the world who are starving, so don’t say that, you’re just uncomfortable but there are people who have it far worse” Another lady was called up to the counter after 2 hours, she had said this is perfect timing because she had an appointment at 11 and it was 11. He started yelling at her “Why didn’t you say something!! We’re not magicians, we can’t read minds, and how are we supposed to know you have an appointment unless you say something!” She replied very timidly, “Because I was here at 9am and I didn’t want to be rude and go before people who had gotten here before me.” Another guy heard him yelling at the lady who had the appointment, so he walked up to say, “Um I have an appointment” to which he was yelled at “Sit down I wasn’t speaking to you and I’ll call you up when I get to your name” Another woman stopped in to see if her paperwork had been sent over from her doctor. He looked very impatiently at her and asked her doctors name. While looking for it he was slamming drawers, apparently looking for printer paper for his printer, and then he slammed the printer drawer, threw the clip board on the counter and then impatiently asked her what her name. That poor woman looked so uncomfortable that I was even feeling uncomfortable. So then he told her the lab orders had arrived and completely dismissed her while he YELLED out the name of the next person who he needed to process. When they didn’t answer because they had left because they were tired of waiting, he yelled their name again! The waiting room is not large it’s about the size of my living room, the tone of voice and yelling he did to call people up was totally uncalled for. When people don’t respond, saying “For God Sake” and then yelling even louder is just not professional. The woman whom he dismissed was trying to ask him a question and he just put his hand up like “speak to the hand” and waved her to get away from the desk. She finally turn around, I had made eye contact with her and she had this bewildered look on her face. I had been waiting over an hour but enough was enough I got up and walked out. His behavior was unprofessional, rude, intimidating and embarrassing. I never felt so uncomfortable in a professional setting in my 51 years.

I had a totally terrific experience at this Labcorp. I arrived at 1:15 for a 1:30 appointment and was greeted with cheerfulness and smiles from two very lovely ladies. The person who took care of me was Tracey and she handled my paperwork and did the actual blood test. My blood test went exceptionally well as Tracey only had to stick me once and I had no bruising whatsoever. As I was leaving eight minutes after I arrived, an elderly couple came through the door and were greeted quite warmly by name. They were obviously patients who have to come in for regular testing and I was impressed with the sweet way the staff interacted with them. All in all, this was a good experience even though I was having some trepidation due to the other very negative comments on this site. I was completely satisfied with everything and will continue to use this facility quite happily.

This was the most pleasant lab experience I ever had--at any lab. First, when I walked in, the tech at the front desk greeted me with "Welcome to LabCorps." I had never heard that before! Second, he didnt seem irritated that I had questions to ask him. Third, he and his co-worker kept the waiting-room TV turned to happy viewing...a much better choice for a "health" facility than murder and mayhem that saturates news channels. Fourth, service was exceptionally fast. I waited only about eight minutes before being called into the back. This is unheard-of in other labs. Fifth, the place seemed clean and the atmosphere was most definitely cheerful. I will gladly drive the ten miles out of my way to go to this location.

After reading the horrible online reviews I was less than thrilled to be headed to LabCorp for bloodwork. Not sure if they have cleaned up their acts since all of the bad press or if I am just lucky, but I have to say, it was a smooth running machine. I set an appointment, they greeted me cheerfully upon arrival, got me in right at the time of my appointment, and all of the staff working with me were just funny and easy and courteous. No complaints here! But I would make an appointment and the website could be better. Five stars for making what I thought was going to be an unpleasant mess a hassle-free half hour!

Hours of operation are worse than banks. If that is not inconvenient enough, once you are there you have to wait over 1.5 hours just to be called in. It seems that this location is understaffed or that the employees working dont seem to want to work. Half the time theres no one at the front desk. Very poor communication the patients/clients waiting. A heads-up that it will take forever would have been nice. I would have left over an hour ago. Now that I see the review it does not surprise me!

Very slow service. I guess not enough employees. Today ghere is only one person taking blood samples. They r always busy and packed with people. I go at this location since last 5 years 4 times a year, never took less then one hour. I always try to make an appointment, but they never have morning appointment because of fasting, for next 3 weeks. I hope they hire more staff for this location since town is growing faster.

Labcorp is a disreputable company. They took my confidential sample which was clearly marked for another vendor. They then charged me considerably more than my negotiated rate. Now Im in collections as no responsible decision maker will make any effort to hear me out or respond to my various efforts to rectify this situation. DO NOT CHOOSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
