I wish that I could attach a photo to this review to show you the condition that my dental health was in when I first met the team at Brand New Smiles. My parents were not very great when it came to actually being "PARENTS". it was never a rule in our home to brush our teeth before bed. we werent taught these things like most children are. by the time that I had realized the state of my teeth, and the embarrassment they brought me, it was practically like trying to shine a car that had been sitting in the rust for over two decades. At one point last year, I had gone to an emergency 24 hour dentist, who had made me feel so so terrible-telling me that i was clearly a drug addict, with the state of my teeth and he was unwilling to help me. I was so embarrassed. Whenever I met people, I was sure of it that the only thing they saw were my horrible horrible rotting teeth. I was taking so many pain pills just to DULL the constant agony that my teeth were in. I hardly slept and only ate soft foods. Finally my girlfriend said "I think we should just do it. Lets just book an appt and at least see what our options are. Ill never forget my first visit. I was so embarrassed that they were going to take a look at my teeth and say "NO WAY! THESE ARE HORRIBLE! WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE YOU?!" Instead, everyone assured me that it wasnt as bad as I was thinking it was and that there were PLENTY of options. I chose my option, and we talked prices and what we could do to make this happen as quickly as possible. I was given antibiotics and pain medicine to dull the infection and pain that day. Within a month, I underwent surgery and had a full dental reconstructive implant. Even though the sedative didnt put me to sleep entirely, I felt at ease throughout the entire surgery. THAT DAY, I went home with new teeth. throughout the next week, every single person from the office had called me at some point. Even Dr. Brand who was out of town the day after my surgery called from his cell to see if everything was okay, and when I didnt answer, called my girlfriend. called in some anti-nausea medicine right then, and continued to let us know that he, as well as all the amazing ladies in the office were available at any time if i needed anything at all. that was about six months ago. i have since attached the implants to a temporary denture while my gums continue to heal from a full mouth extraction. This has been the absolute best experience of my entire life. Im so thankful. My teeth feel like theyve always been mine. I had the option to choose the shape, the color, the roundness, length etc. and they are completely perfect. I no longer hide my laugh with my hand. I am so excited to meet people. I am so beyond confident. Ill never stop singing Dr. Brands praises. Since I was a kid, Ive told myself "you cant audition for that play. theyre not going to give the part to someone who has broken teeth." "you cant apply for that job. all the girls here are classy. they dont hire people who look like this." There is literally nothing in the world that I cant do now. I am so happy with this experience. Im so thankful to everyone who works in the Brand New Smiles office. Ive never once, since my first visit felt like a name on a chart. Whenever I call, no matter who answers, as soon as I say who I am, everyone knows what my case is and how to answer any questions I have. I am 26 years old and this is my first actual dentist. I spent my whole life waiting for the smile that I have now, and Brand New Smiles made it entirely worth every minute of waiting.

Dr. Brand/ Brand New Smiles is Wonderful. Dr. Brand is a genuinely nice, caring, and compassionate man. The staff in the office are so kind and caring and helpful. I was treated with kindness and respect and they were very professional, which is so hard to find now, especially at a dentist office. I didnt feel like I was being talked at or down to. In my previous experience at another dentist office I got a smile but of course it went along with..."and you need this much work done....and it costs $$$$ thousands of dollars, when would you like to schedule your next appointment?". I wasnt included in the plan of what was going to happen with my teeth or how I wanted it to happen, they zipped me in & out like an assembly line. That was not the case at Dr. Brands office. They took their time with me, asked me what my concerns, wants and plans were and they actually LISTENED to me. After hearing my input, they were very thorough in explaining to me step by step what they would like to do to help and of course after my approval we proceeded with the examination and x-rays. Dr. Brand is down to earth & made me feel so at ease and comfortable; I felt like I was talking with a good friend. While we looked at the photos & x-rays of my teeth he didnt make me feel bad about my teeth, in fact he pointed out my teeth looked really good and gave me a new outlook; my teeth werent in as bad shape as I thought/ learned at the previous dentist office; nothing a few fillings and a cleaning cant fix. He came up with a dental plan that fit MY needs. By the end of the visit, I felt hopeful and relieved. I didnt need all the other services the other dentist said I needed. I didnt feel like I was just another $ dollar sign to them. Now, Im going to be able to get my dental work done and for considerably less than what my previous dentist quoted me. I neglected my teeth for two years because I dont have dental insurance and the last dentist made me feel like my teeth were horrible & in need of so much work it that it scared me off. Im so glad I was able to find Dr. Brand. Hes a nice honest man who really does care and wants to help. I already scheduled my next appointment to with him. Im thankful I found Dr. Brand and Im finally able to make this happen. I highly recommend Dr. Brand and Brand New Smiles in Lake Mary! :-)

I have been a patient of Dr Brands for almost 15 years... & cant say enough good things about BRAND NEW SMILES! If you dont enjoy the classic dental experience, you need to know its different here, as I used to dread going to the dentist, & those days are past.
