At first I was content with this office and how I was treated. My issues were addressed during the appointment and I was given direction on what needs to be done to resolve the skin issues I was concerned with. The follow through on their part since my initial office visit has been nothing but a headache and frustration. As someone who has worked in a cosmetic office for years (and currently), I know that their way of handling my specific situation has been nothing but careless on their part. I was told my prescription was sent into a compounding pharmacy and that they would call me that same day (Tuesday) by 5pm. 2 days later I called the pharmacy because they never called. They told me they had nothing on file. The manager of the pharm. Ann told me she would call me Monday morning to have my script mailed. Tuesday afternoon, I called her since she did not call of course and got her voicemail. I called bay derm, spoke with Tamera who told me the pharmacy was closed, I explained the situation, she said she would "personally handle it" -- She never called the next morning. I phoned Bay Derm myself and asked for Tamera - turns out she was off that day. I do not understand why someone would tell me they would personally handle my situation knowing they would not be there the following day. Not to mention, the receptionist who informed me Tamera was not there also said nothing was noted in my chart about the situation. I then asked to speak to the office manager Tonya. Tonya told me she would take care of things--- Ann the from the pharmacy was nice enough to call right before they closed. (I too have a job -- I missed her phone call) When I called back she was gone-- I left a very detailed message with the call center for her to call me in the morning. Guess what? Ann never called. I called the pharmacy this afternoon and the woman on the phone wouldnt let me speak with Ann even after I asked 3 times. She then asked for my credit card info and told me they would get it out to me next Monday. (TWO WEEKS past my initial appointment) I have spent multiple lunch breaks sitting on hold trying to simply get a prescription. I realize Im not dying and its not an urgent medication but as the patient, I should not have to go through all this hassle. The office manager should take the time to follow through to make sure her unhappy patients issues were properly resolved and not just assume her staff is taking care of things. I have gone to Bay Derm in the past for esthetic treatments with Mary in St. Pete Beach--- SHE is great and is always available to help her patients. I would recommend her to any one. As far as their other staff goes, if this is how a simple prescription is handled -- I cant imagine dealing with them in the event of an emergency. I really think this office needs a little revamp on how to follow through with patients.

Went in for a blue light chemo treatment to remove precancerous cells. Supposed to be the first appt for the day but they were 25 minutes late getting me in. Then was told it took 2 1/2 hrs for procedure. Initially I was told 1 1/2 to 2 so I allowed 3 hrs knowing that they are ALWAYS late getting you in. This caused me to be late getting to work. They didnt even give me the information about the procedure until after the fact and I discovered that I should have been taking some medicine before the procedure. Dont feel it worked at all. Now today I go in for the follow up calling 10 minutes prior to appointment letting them know I was running 10 minutes late (treating them with courtesy and respect). Well, once I got there they said I didnt have an appointment until Sept. Funny, it was a follow up that they made for me from the procedure. This is the second time they didnt have my appointment and they have done that to my husband as well. Folks, I dont make six figures so when I have to take off work I dont get paid. They dont have the courtesy to be respectful of your time. I am done with them. Say so long to a family of four that used to be customers.

Someone in the Largo office is simply a liar/fraud. My wife called to ask about getting skin tags removed, provided her insurance information, and was told the visit would be covered but removal would cost $30-40 as it was considered cosmetic. Obviously, we went ahead and scheduled an appointment and went through with it. As she went to pay after the appointment, she was told the bill was $360. When she asked why she was quoted $30-40 they said they didnt know who told her that, and that they had no control over the price. They even said, "they shouldnt have given you a quote over the phone", essentially admitting they messed it up. I could understand a $10 difference, but a $330 difference? We will never return here. That is just absolutely criminal. The ten minutes (literally) she spent with the dermatologist were fine, but that cannot override the discrepancy in our bill vs. what we were told it would cost. Thats almost two of our car payments in difference.

Well I was a patient of Dr. Miller for many years as a teenager. 10 years down the line I came back and was scheduled with his intern who I really liked and then she apparently moved to Texas without my knowledge and no one let me know which was disappointing. The I was referred to someone else not saying who out of respect, but she was very short with me and would not let me talk or listen to my needs and when I had an issue I never received a call back. But then I had an issue come up and scheduled with Jamie....And let me tell you! She is amazing! Always has availability and takes the time to understand your needs and explain things very thoroughly. The Office is also very nice as well as all the employees. So I have no complaints and will refer them to anyone I know. :)

My treatment was excellent, but my complaint is with billing. When checking out they said I owed $190.00 dollars for services before this last visit. I have both Medicare and secondary insurance Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I have never paid more than $15.00 any other time. Got home and contacted Julia in accounting. She stated it does not look like I should have paid that money. I was to call her back at the end of the week. I called back and was told they had sent my bill to the wrong insurance company. They were going to keep my $190.00 to see if the correct insurance company paid. They have always paid in the past, but keeping my money when you made the mistake is improper. If they do not correct this to my satisfaction I will not be returning back to Day Dermatology again.

please do not go to this clinic unless you are ready for a billing nightmare. we as patients pay alot for our insurance and we only expect their employees do their jobs. my last visit they billed my credit card 40.00 when on my card it clearly states 5.00. this took hours on the phone with their office manager accomplished nothing and my call to mastercard fixed it in less than 2 minutes. NEXT, i am being billed 290.00 for a biopsy they ordered and didnt submit insurance data properly. it should be 0.00 to me. you cannot put a monetary price on aggravation and in my lifetime this is the worst. my friend warned me and told me not to go there. NOW, i am trying to warn anyone who reads this...dont go to bay area dermatology !!!!
