Dr.Kimmel is fantastic. As for his office staff -I wont say names- are incredibly rude. They will repeat the same mantra to you "Theres nothing we can do" or "What do you want me to do." If you need medication authorization walk into the office and ask to talk to the doctor directly otherwise nothing will get done. As an example I was completely out of my psych medication. I have been on that medication for 8 years. It is a high dosage and isnt something I can just stop. I called and told them I need authorization. Due to errors in the doctors notes they wouldnt refill it. I explained that is an error and its important that I have this medication. As I said they say what do you want me to do or theres nothing I can do. I then went onto tell them I will go through massive withdrawals. What did the lady say? In a very snotty, disrespectful tone "Then maybe you need to go to the hospital." Mind you not in any way shape or form was I disrespectful or beligerant towards them. I was only explaining the importance of the matter. I ended up going to the hospital. I spoke with two ER doctors both of them were completely dumbfounded. They said it would take two months to wean me off of my medication and it is dangerous to stop cold turkey. They went on to say it is ridiculous that they did that to you. Im not the only one this office staff has done this too. Its not the doctor its the staff.

Kimmel Care Family Practice are a bunch of rude, unprofessional, uncaring individuals. Ive never really had an issue eith Dr. Kimmell himself but because if his staff, I wish there were a zero star rating because thats what they deserve. I called to figure out how have my blood pressure medication filled for a 90 period since I am leaving the state. I was yelled at, told its not their problem I planned poorly, although I called a couple of weeks ago to resolve this, at which time I was told to tell the pharmacy to fax them. Ashley told me she knew for a fact that isnt what happened, even though I did not speak to her initially. The pharmacy told me I needed a new script from them, which is what I was calling about today. This is blood pressure medication, nothing narcotic or controlled. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable and for the record Ashley is one if the most rude and hateful people Ive ever talked to in the medical industry. This practice is a joke, Id avoid them at all costs.

Ive been going there for a couple years and office visits were fine. I am a regular self paying patient and pay every time. My last few visits I had to wait for an hour and a half before being seen. All of a sudden they are very rushed and not listening to my concerns. (One of the staff, I wont say which one but she was very rude. You never tell a patient that they arent acting normal.) The "doctor" would not prescribe me any medications or give me a referal (order) to see a specialist. No samples. Nothing. I was told I was perfectly healthy even though Ive been on blood pressure meds for many years and suffer chest pains and have ended up in a hospital before. This doctor does not care about the patients needs. Waste of your time to go there unless your just going to get Rx refills. Dont bother asking for anything else because they will tell you you dont need it and you are healthy. Unprofessional.

Today was my FIRST appointment with Dr. Kimmel and also my LAST. I will never return to his office. I would rather suffer in pain than deal with a doctor I just met that was dismissive, condescending and not helpful in anyway. I left there feeling worse than when I first got there. I would NEVER recommend anyone go see this doctor. The things he said to a new patient were unbelievably rude and uncaring, including that I am a “mess”. Gee doctor, I did come to you while feeling scared from some test results and not feeling good. I assure you I have a very healthy sense of humor, he wasn’t simply being funny he was being rude and acted bothered by me. I’ll leave it there as a scathing review will do no good but save yourself some hurt feelings and frustration and do not go see this doctor.

Very rude Reception. Window girl is a joke. Doctor flat out tells you he is Broke And in Debt, Then quotes tuna and frozen veggie prices from 1989....cant spell ~ still writes by hand scripts~ Its 2014 get a iPod... your hair is so fake I couldnt stop staring!!! your office is germ factory and any animal lover cringes at the large fish you smother in a tiny tank ...RECAP: Blond at window is a DODO!...Staff never calls you back. Kimmel is a giant PRICK who doesnt know flu from torn ACL or a sprained ankle from a chigger. He told me I had a cramp!!!! 1 hour min. wait to see a QUACK! Please go somewhere else unless you just want to laugh at the DUMBASS RECEPTIONIST !!!!

I have been a patient for two years. I just called to schedule a physical and the process and people on the phone were just about perfect. I was referred by two patients who only say great things, you may not see their reviews as often times satisfaction gets no review . I do not understand these negative reviews or the style in which they are written, but maybe you should consider the source. I am 54, an educated executive who has owned and run many business, and a cancer survivor. I have seen good and bad over the years, but only good here.

If I could give this office a lower rating I would! The staff at this location is the worst! The receptionist has a bad attitude and a smart mouth. There is nothing professional about this office and if Dr. Kimmel wants to keep his family practice alive, he needs to get rid of the bad apples and give his office a better name! I would never recommend for anyone to go to this office. Not until they have better training and understanding of what it truly means to be in patient care business!

I had been a patient of his for a long time, but havent been there in a few years. I tried to make an appointment because I was having heart issues. The first available appointment was to be in April! This is February! No way I would wait that long! Certainly his staff is not trained to realize that if the patient said there was an issue with the heart, you would move things up. Found another Doctor, and have an appointment for tomorrow.

Dr Kimmel is the first Dr in a very long time who actually took the time to listen to me, instead of herding his patients through as quickly as possible. Ive never had an issue getting an appointment, wait times are minimal, these negative reviews are very surprising to me. The staff isnt bubbly nice by any means, but I care more about the quality of dr, and I have had zero complaints about the quality of care Ive received from Dr Kimmel.

I suppose this would be a good office for your run of the mill type things, but if you have something more complex, stay away! Went in for extreme fatigue, was told I was fine just drink more coffee. Got a second opinion, turns out I have a pretty serious if not treated autoimmune disorder causing thyroid issues. Never again will I nor my family see this physician
