I gave one star because there was nothing less to give. I do NOT recommend Dr. Chan to anyone. He is the most arrogant and rude doctor that I have ever met. Its like being interrogated. He questions your medical history and doesnt believe the diagnoses given by specialists. He wrote the medications that I was taking down incorrectly instead of making a copy of the list that I brought from the hospital, then on the next visit told me I did not provide him with the information. He wanted my medical records to prove the diagnosis that was given by the specialists that treated me. Then his staff (which are just as incompetent as he is) did not even request my records. Then on my next visit he says he cant prescribe any medication without the records showing that I need it. I signed the forms on my first visit but mysteriously they were not in my chart on my next visit. He told me I did not sign the forms in the first place, basically calling me a liar. He wants you to come in for appointments to pick up prescriptions saying he cant call or e-scribe them to the pharmacy. All he really cares about is billing your insurance company for these unnecessary visits. I sat in his office after they took me in for an hour while he saw patients that came in after me. I asked him to call my previous doctor if he had any concerns or questions. First he said their office was closed to which I pointed out that it was only 3:30, he then told me that he did not have time to do that. Dr. Chan and his staff know nothing about patient care. When you choose a primary doctor to take care of your medical needs you want someone who does just that. Who wants to go to a doctor that interrogates them, tells them that the specialist that made your diagnosis is wrong and wont fill maintenance medications. Dont waste your time with Dr. Chan, because he will not "waste" his time to care and treat you!!!!!!!

This is the worst Doctor experience I ever had. He was so impatient and rude he had me in tears by the end of our session. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! He has absolutely no compassion. He does not believe a thing that you say and wants proof of everything. You might as well forget it, if you have an old diagnosed disease and no record of it. He wants exact dates and will want you to prove things before he helps you. He makes you get records from the hospital even if you dont need them to prove that certain things happened to you, as if you are lying even if you bring all your other old documents and records there to show the trail of your doctor visits and tell him what your pains are. Forget refferals until you pass his strict testing. He has serious trust issues. So yes, the worst experience ever! If you have a back condition, be sure you know its entire name, spelling, and how to enuciate it! Have your xrays and have to show him for him to decide if you should go to a Specialist even if you have been diagnosed by two prior doctors and know you need surgery. Because he will make you do it. He will not believe a word you are saying. Thats it! The feeling getting out of his room was so awful, I never felt this humiliated in my life!!!! Shall I say more?

Gave this man a million chances and then ran from him to a good doctor. He treats you like you are a child and are ignorant. God help you if you come in with proof that he missed your illness or want a referral for a test or specialist. He has old equipment in his office, that is no longer reliable and scary. His could not find my mothers blood pressure on many occasions and I would suggest going elsewhere for any X-rays and I mean that !!!!!!! He doesnt like to give you refills and will simply not fill your refills at the pharmacy and expect to read his mind that he wants you to come in for a recheck. He will require you to come in for a visit for every refill and every simple test result and to recheck silly things, so he can make money off you and your insurance. If you have any serious health problems or chronic conditions, I would suggest you look somewhere else. My opinion, of course but wish someone had warned me.

Im amazed to see that all the reviews are actually most of them is feeling the same way as me and saying the same things that I see and his practice with patients that come to get help and to feel better Ive only seen him twice and Im already going to start looking for another doctor because he is Rude and arrogant and he makes you feel like you dont know what youre talking about or if youre lying about symptoms that youre having. Hes very unprofessional on caring and looks like hes just in it for the money very sad to have to write this type of review but I wouldnt recommend no other person to come see him every time I go is empty and I now know why

No bedside matter. I went to Dr. Chan because his name was listed on my medical plan, and most doctors I called where not taking new patients. The wait and lobby were deplorable, but nothing compared to his tact and attitude. I was not asked for previous medical records or history, even though I had brought all pertinent medical history with me. Instead, he proceeded to just ask random questions and scribble on paper. He ordered an x-ray, which after three days, was being MAILED to his office. Mailed! It was like stepping thirty years back in time and technology wasnt available. I dont think so. Back to searching....

There is no rating. My family use to see Doctor Chan. He was very abusive and abrasive. Even at times we were bring our young children who have issues with Early development. Maybe its because that English is not his first language, Im not sure, but as soon as insurance allowed, we found another doctor. He treated you like your were bothering him and not like he was your doctor.
