Dr. Mahaffey and the staff at Growing Child Pediatrics are one of a kind! We have used Dr. Mahaffey for about 7 years now and when we were kids also. She is a wonderful doctor that truly cares about her patients. The wait is sometimes longer but it is worth it in my opinion because she is not in a rush to get you in and out. I feel like I get my moneys worth for the visit. The Staff is very friendly, always smiling and ready to help you. They all care about each individual and get to know you and treat you as so. They know us on first name basis and we feel welcomed. Her office is clean, well kept and very welcoming to children. Making them feel safe and the decorating they have is more fun for the kids and not your typical doctors office. I highly recommend Dr. Mahaffey to anyone looking for a Pediatrician.

Dr. Mahaffey and Growing Child Pediatrics used to be my childrens pediatricians until we moved away for about a year and a half. When I moved back, I wanted to reeastablish with them, because I was happy with them before. However, when I went to reeastablish with them, I was told that they would not accept my children again. It wasnt that they werent accepting new patients, because I asked that. Even though I tried to get an acceptable explanation, all they were willing to tell me was that they would not accept MY children again. As far as I knew, I had no issues with them before, so I do not understand this at all. I dont mind getting another doctor, I just am not satisfied with how the customer relations was handled, and frankly, I would now prefer a different pediatric office.

I have suggested this office to many of my friends for there children , but following my experience last week i wouldnt suggest my worst enemy to this office . Dr. Mahaffy was very rude to my son and I . She beat on the exam room door startling both my son and I , when she walked in she asked what was the problem ... very politely i responded with it seems you are having a bad day we should come back another time ..and her response was never to come back again she followed me to the desk where i requsted a supervisors number and have called multiple times and still no response . This women has no business in medical practice and expecially not pediatrics!!!!!!!

I have never had any problems with Dr Mahaffey or her staff. They have always been wonderful and helpful. I had a time where I needed to figure things out, although I paid for an office visit, it was just for me. She came in with a cup of coffee and my childs records ready to listen and help me work through what needed to be worked through. The office staff is understanding, funny and always has a smile on their face. Sometimes the wait may be longer than normal, but its because she takes the time with each patient to see whats going on in their lives. She gets to know us. I love it there!

Dr Mahaffey seems to be a good MD, but the office staff is a nightmare! It is so bad, the other area pediatrician clinics are aware of it, as the patients are running away. The treatment we got was rude at best - the billing was done incorrectly, and when we asked for it to be corrected, we were fired. Customer service/satisfaction is not important, obviously. Very disappointing.

Her office is well kept. The staff is friendly and good with children. Dr. Mahaffey listens and never pressures you to do anything you dont want too. Truly a doctor that is great for families.
