I had high hopes. Was disappointed. Nice visitor center building but little to see and there is no interactions. Felt like going to the carnival and paying to "go behind the curtain" to see something special then emerge feeling ripped off. I love what they do but the visitor center probably supresses interest & support. Its basically a high priced gift shop with an extra cost option to read sign boards and look at pictures. Sorry. I know they do wonderful things there. Wish it was more accessible. I took out of state visitors there without having been there myself. $6 for bridge, lunch, HIGH parking fees on island & admission to CROW left a car full of weary guests.

I will not donate to an organization whose Facebook page restricts our getting information on E8 (for one) because we choose not to "be liked." By restricting our ability to participate through viewing full ongoing updates I feel I cant be bothered with an excellent organizations support. Dont let Facebook ruled your growth. There are many of us out here that feel as I do. Suggest: You open up Facebook for "unliked" viewers and go ahead like others to not let us comment as others have done. Thank you. Then we will give you "5" stars which you certainly deserve.

Very cool center! While not huge, their visitor center is interactive, newer & great across ages (toddler to older adult). A few smaller animals were on display and live video of other areas played (my kids loved watching the raccoons play). The displays were well thought out. We missed their big Friday tour as well as a talk one of the staff was giving. We certainly wouldve liked to have more time here before returning home. Check their site in advance for daysthours of events - they vary based on high/low season.

We absolutely loved our time here. All staff members were expectionally kind and helpful. When you first enter there are educational videos to watch and afterwards you can visit some animals in their little homes. We have a little one who aspires to become a veterinarian so this was absolutely a great place for her to explore. Inside you can view x rays of actual animals that have been admitted into the facility with a detailed explanation of their time at the center. Highly recommended.

Reminiscent of Best Friends program Wild Friends in Utah, CROW does impressive and important work. The exhibit I saw laid out what they do and was a good educational reminder to first do no harm if you encounter wildlife you think needs your help, as well as a lesson in invasive species.

I am a volunteer in the baby ward at the clinic. I have never worked with such caring, devoted people. They genuinely love wildlife and devote so much of their time to helping and getting the animals back to nature where they belong. I am proud to be a part of such an organization!

Thank you for all you do!!! Very educational and very friendly! We enjoyed learning how your center cares for and takes in injured wildlife. Thank you for caring and being their voice; to help educate the public by sharing your love, passion and compassion for wildlife!

Great educational stop on Sanibel Island! Full tour is worth the price and helps fund the great work they do there. Really enjoyed getting to hang out in the theater with a cute little alligator, a hyper armadillo, and of course, Sheldon the land tortoise!

Over the summer I found an injured bird in the backyard on a Sunday while prepping for a day on the beach. I was happy to find that I was able to reach someone on a Sunday and we delivered the bird to warm and caring people who thanked us!

So many creatures have been given a second chance because of CROW. You wont find a more caring & dedicated group of people. Thank you CROW, for all you do. Im sorry I can only give you five stars, 10 seems more appropriate

C.R.O.W. is a wonderful place with caring staff. Their work with the wild animals is very thorough and professional. The visitor center is nicely stocked with gifts! I stop by every time I am on Sanibel.

Thought we were gonna be able to see the animals, but did not get to see any. The place was a small room with videos of the animals. At least we gave money to a good cause.
