I took my dog in last night due to him not being able to walk on his right hindquarter. The receptionist told me the charges upfront, which according the technician I saw she should not have done. The technician said " the receptionist did not include anestia for the X-Rays, and the blood work." It ended up costing almost triple the amount I was originally told, not to mention I had to wait almost two hours to see the vet. After it was all said and done, we were told our dog had a suspected tear in the cruciate ligament. A surgery for that according to the vet said that surgery $2800-$3500, and we would need to see an orthopedic vet, which she was correct about. However, when took our dog to the orthopedic surgeon it was far from a torn cruciate ligament. Our dog sprained his toe! I understand it was "suspected," and they are NOT orthopedic speacialist, but that seems very far off from a sprained toe. The vet also said our dog has a small amount of hip displaysia that they may have contributed to his injury. Orthopedic said the complete opposite. We were given a disc with our dogs X-rays on it, but when I gave it to the orthopedic there was nothing on it. I do NOT recommend this Animal ER! If you do choose to take your companion here, I wouldnt believe the cost the receptionist tells you. Im willing to pay whatever is needed for my dog to be taken care of, but Im sure anyone would be a little upset that it was TRIPPLE the amount given! Not to mention the diagnosis wasnt even close!

Though they do have some decent vet techs - their vet staff is highly questionable. They are far from forward thinking - and quite honestly - in my opinion, put my cats life in jeopardy. I blame myself for bringing my cat there - as I would have done a more decent job diagnostically using Google (I wish it was a joke.) Though Im sure they had decent intentions, it doesnt change the fact that they dont monitor the reactions to treatment to double check that their diagnosis is correct. Yes, they will monitor vitals (at least in my case, they did) - but they dont regroup and reconsider if things begin to worsen. Medicine isnt so black and white, but to them - it is. Compared to other Emergency Vets in the area - the care at Cooper Creek Animal ER is more affordable - I suppose theres that. However, if my cat dies, I will regret bringing them to this ER for the rest of my life, as she is my best friend. And the treatment she is receiving at her new Emergency facility - is amazing, though it may not be enough to undo the damage I believe Cooper Creek Animal ERs did (Again, this is my opinion.) All treatment issues aside, Dr. Pamela McGinnis attitude is horrendous. And her bed side manner is abhorrent - at least in my situation.

Our dog was bit directly on the head, causing about 5 different fractures in his skull. While 3 vets told us we should put our dog down, we decided to give him two days to show some type of improvement; as we werent sure if there was brain damage as well. We were referred to this emergency center by the hospital we took him to the day before. When he was taken to this center he wasnt walking, drinking, or eating on his own. While he was at this facility we recieved multiple pictures/texts throughout the day/night on updates. They gave very detailed responses when we called about his progress. In just 32 hours they got our dog, who wasnt walking and werent sure if he was going to live. He began walking, eating, drinking, and brought the swelling down and controlled sezuires to none. We were able to bring him home a day early. While the first center stablized him, this facility brought him back, cared, and rehablitated our little man so quickly. Everyone was shocked he made is this far and quickly. The price for us was reasonable for the care that was provided. We couldnt be anymore grateful for the work they have done, and the communication.

The front receptionist Britney is the most Im compassionate and caring person I have ever met. I brought my cat in to see the cardiologist which the vet nearing did not let me see the cardiologist. Told me my cat wasnt dying which I knew my cat was dying. Because I know my animals. Charge me almost $600 for something I already knew witch is she has a heart problem. Gave her some fluids which is not give your heart. My recommendation is stay the hell away from their business, theyre only interested in the money not the animals. The worst experience I ever had at a veterinarian. They dont listen when you tell them whats going on with your animal, if she wouldve seen the cardiologist she would probably be alive right now. She died a few days after she was seen by you. Thank you very much for killing my cat. I would not bring any animal to your facility again and I would recommend that nobody recommends them. The worst of the worst . From what I read from other reviews the owners I always have an excuse Or a reason for what happened or what was going on. They only care about money money money.I told the truth it doesnt need to be edited.

Absolutely terrible place - dont ever take your pet here. I called ahead to see if I could take my dog in as she was lethargic, vomiting, and had diarrhea. They said yes and that the fee would be $95. I was there within 20 minutes carrying my dog because she could hardly walk on her own. When I arrived, I was told that all the rooms were full so I could either wait 2 hours or pay a $500 deposit to bump her ahead of the others. I explained that the person on the phone told me $95. At first nobody remembered speaking to me (apparently it was between a shift change) and then someone said between the time I called and the time I arrived (20 minutes) 4 people had come in and the rooms were all full. In order to rush my dog ahead of them (since her condition was worse) I had to pay the $500. How a place can only rush you ahead of other patients if you hand them a bunch of money is beyond me. The pet with the most life-threatening condition should be first, bottom line. I left and took my dog to a different emergency clinic. I would never let such greedy people who are in the business just to rip you off taking care of my dog.

All of the staff is so friendly from the front desk, to the assistants, to the Drs. I had taken my 5yr old daschund in for an emergency. I was such an emotional mess that day. I called them up and they saw her right away. She was in a very bad condition, having severe strokes that would not stop. They made me feel so comforted. It is not easy losing your best cuddle buddy. Especially when you are the one who has to make that decision. I ended up having to put her asleep. They made me such a great care package... a craft with her paw prints and name in it and gave me a lock of her hair. I just received a sympathy card in the mail with a poem that touched my heart so much. It really comforted me. They really care about the animals and their owners. I am so thankful for their over the top customer care and how they are so friendly. They really do whats best for your pet and I cant say it enough... ALL of the Staff and Drs are great! If someone at the office is reading this post.... just know that I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. - Jamie
