I got a stray dog from a shelter about a year ago when i adopted her from the shelter they told me she has a lot of problems living in an abandoned gas station for almost 6months and then when they finally caught her being in the shelter for 5months,she was homeless,abused and extremely scared of people as well as other dogs ,I came to vero beach about a year ago and have been taking Emma here,from my first visit dr basabe and his staff have bent over backwards for me and emma,knowing how scared she is he lets me come in early or after his last appointment,he does an exellent job calming emma down and is extreamly,extreamly,patient with her,she is scared to death of being touched whenever I call the office and speak to christi,she makes sure she relates the message and he always calls back,andthey are unique in the way that if you have an appointment at a specific time you get there and get right in,not like most of the vets i have been to where you get there sit in a waiting room with a room full of barking dogs for a half hour then go into the smaller room and wait again,and belive me its not cause he dosent have the buisness its just he knows how to book appointments properly so he has plenty of time to give each pet his undivided attention without being rushed to the next appointment like i have seen plenty of vets do,hes obviously concerned about quality not quantity, i have had dogs my entire life and been to lots of vets but village pet clinic,dr basabe and his staff is by far the most professional,caring and kind vet i have been to, if you truly love your pet and want the best veterinary care possable for them,this is the place,I wouldent take my emma anywhere else

We having been taking our pets here for 16 years! They are caring compassionate wonderful people. Long time employees, very friendly faces! I love seeing the same people time and time again. They all genuinely care about their clients, animal & people alike. Dr Basabe is fantastic and I would be remiss without mentioning Christie at the front desk who has been a shoulder to cry on a sympathetic ear and a cheering section time after time! Mary is always so nice and helpful & understanding of my "special needs" Ruby. Im sure Im leaving someone out by name but we love them all! Wouldnt ever think of going anywhere else!

The Village Pet Clinic is the most professional, caring,and overall finest facility we have ever had the good fortune to use for our baby! Dr. Basabe leads the team as an excellent and attentive vet. Christe always greets you with a warm smile and is always ready to assist with any of your pets needs. Nurse Mary is the angel responsible for assisting Dr. B with examinations! We need to give her accolades for lovingly holding our kitty while the doctor gives injections. As you can probably tell, we are over 100% happy with these wonderful people . Adele and Tom Beganie Mr. Beijing gives them 5 meows!!

I have been bringing my dog, Yogi, to Village Pet Clinic for, approximately 10 years. The care he receives there is wonderful, as is the staff! I always know that Yogi is in good hands whenever he needs attention, and the kindness, compassion and professionalism of Dr. Basabe and his staff is unsurpassed. An added is plus, is that Dr. Basabe is a certified Animal Chiropractor, something that appeals to me, since my Yogi is a Dachshund, and they can be prone to disc problems. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a doctor for their pet. They are the BEST!

Village Animal Clinic is an up to date veterinary clinic that offers quality health care to my pets. Dr. Basabe and his staff go out of their way to make my pets comfortable during their healthcare visits. Dr. Basabe offers chiropractic treatments for dogs. Without these treatments, my 17 year old Cocker Spaniel would not have had any quality of life in his final years. I trust Village Animal Clinic and the care they provide for my animal family. Being in heathcare myself, that does not come freely. I highly recommend Dr. Basabe and his staff.

I have been a client of Dr.Basabes for several years. He provides excellent care to my Service Dog Wizard and my two French Bulldogs Abbey and Truman ! He goes out of his way to make each dog and client feel comfortable and confident about the care he provides! He will even make house calls upon request for certain situations, which is a service that is extremely hard to find , and very much appreciated being that I am a disabled client. There is no other vet in Vero Beach that I would use as a veterinarian! We love Village Pet Clinic!

Sassy has been going to Dr. Basabe at Village Animal Clinic for over 6 years, and because of his excellent care, Sassy has never had a serious problem. Ive never had to wait for an appointment -- Dr. Basabes competent staff makes sure Sassy is seen usually that same day. I call that service! Before Dr. Basabe became the Vet at Village Pet Clinic, I took Spice there for 15 years. You wont find a better Vet or service anywhere in Vero!

We love Dr Basabe and all his staff. Our 3 dogs are always treated with gentle kindness by all. The clinic is always clean and everyone is knowledgeable and professional, yet personal. When we travel, they are only a phone call away and very willing to help if they can. When we have had to see other vets when we are on the road - we REALLY appreciate coming home and having Dr Basabe and his crew for our vet needs.

Dr. Basabe and the staff at the Village Pet Clinic are very professional, courteous, and most caring. Our Mini-Pin is over 15 years old and recently experienced signs of renal failure. Dr. Basabe suggested an infusion of liquids to flush out toxins and the procedure allowed our Sadie Mae to rebound to her normal vigor. Thank you Dr. Basabe and staff for taking such good care of our Sadie Mae!

Great staff! Dr. Basabe is very thorough and explains everything very clearly. He and his assistants are great with our dogs and always go out of their way to follow up and make sure everything is OK. The no anesthesia dental is amazing! Weve been bringing our dogs here for many years and will continue to do so.

I really like how the Village Pet Clinic is open to alternate holistic therapies. While every other vet I have visited in this town pushes their cash crop "medical" dog food, vaccinations and medication..this Dr does not. I can appreciate a good "hands on" thorough body examination of my animals.
