Signed our two dogs up for wellness plan & within a month took them in for thier dental cleaning. When I picked them up one of our dogs smelled so strong of urine I immediately went home & bathed her (because of her skin condition she has to be bathed weekly with special shampoo so I had recently just bathed her) Even after her bath she still smelled so strong of urine that Im going to have to bathe her again tomorrow. Not to mention her ear was busted open & bleeding when they brought her out. They blamed it on an ear infection which they gave me medicine for 3 weeks prior when we came in for vaccines. Paid $20 for meds & now today they say its not working & I need different meds that will cost over $100. These ppl scare me. I almost feel like they create problems to get more money. If I wouldnt have paid for the wellness plan up front for the year I would cancel & go back to our old vet. Next time we have to go in Im driving to a different location. Something is just not right about this place.

Dont expect any type of honesty from these people. I adopted a dog a few months ago, and needed to get her an exam so I could buy heartworm prevention. I had paperwork from the rescue showing shed had a heartworm test in May. The woman who made my appt. was fine with that. My husband arrives for the exam and is told because we didnt have proof she had received h/w prevention from the rescue, they would have to do the test. Youd think this was something that wouldve been mentioned when I made the appt. But they count on you already being there so they can spring even more charges on you. I had to tell the guy THREE TIMES that we didnt want 6 months of their overpriced heartworm meds. Heartgard is $20 cheaper. I will never bring any of my animals here again.

Wow reading these reviews blows my mind. I have had 4 dogs and 3 cats signed up with them for the wellness plan. I have not had any problems. I once had a problem with the plan payments but I called them and they fixed everything right away. The only thing I think they can improve on is if you have to put a pet down they should have a box or something if you dont want them to dispose of your animals remains. I had to wrap my 16 year old cat in a towel and carry him out of the store and I really wasnt feeling that too much. I do agree as well doctors seem to come and go so Ive learned not to get too attached to a certain doctor.

Banfield received the prescription several minutes before 7pm and because they were shutting down their systems I am unable to get a prescription for dog food. I wasted minutes while the Petsmart clerk failed to get the information to Bansfield. I am now screwed with no prescription food!!! Bansfield is less of a pet company and more of a "Im closing in 3 minutes, i cant help you" company. I was in the parking lot, lady!!! Update: visited Banfield the next morning at 9:01am, received the card at 9:03am. Went to the aisle to purchase food, and there is none in stock. smh

Someone at this location took it upon themselves to sign my sons dog up for a Wellness Plan and charge it to my account. Im pretty sure thats fraud, and illegal. When I went to the store to solve this, they told me there was nothing they could do there, and I had to contact the corporate office. I dont understand why they couldnt check October in the computer and see who signed up for it. They should keep records of all that. Shady business practice. I dont think Ill renew my other plans when they are up for it.

Horrible customer service, over priced service, insane wait time, complete lack of communication between staff, and between staff and doctor, and between staff/doctors and patient. Vet is more interested in profit more interested in profits than in veterinary care, and it shows, she never even came out to speak to me about my dog. Will not return there, ever.

We purchased 4 wellness programs for them and are very disappointed. We can not see a vet on short notice. We have already cancelled 1 of our programs and plan to cancel the rest as they come up for renewal. Another big problem with them is when we get a vet we like they often leave this Banfield.
