I was highly pleased with our experience with this office! First off, everyone was very kind and polite, and also the office is very clean (that says a lot too!) We are from out of town and are here to work for a few months and were in need to bring one of our dogs in to find out why her face was a bit swollen. It was decided that she had an abscessed root on one of her molars. This being the case and it having been right at a year since both of my dogs last dentals, we went ahead and scheduled full dentals for both of our dogs and they pulled the tooth. They also checked a lump on my male while he was out and it was decided to leave it alone unless it grows. That meant a lot because it showed (in my book) that they were looking out for the best interest of the animal and not just looking to line their pockets as so many are these days. It was also pretty neat that I didnt have to make an appointment for the checkup, you just show up when you show up. After the checkup they DO make an appointment for surgeries/dentals. They took wonderful care of our fur babies and I would be more than happy to make them our permanent vet home if we were permanent residents in the area. Thank you VCA for being so kind and wonderful to us!!

We own and operate WaterDog Kennels in Temple. We bypass many vets to get to Carrollton Animal Hospital, almost a 35 minute drive. We absolutely respect the other vets in town, but have had a longstanding relationship with CAH, who have been there with us EVERY step of the way EVERY day of the week EVERY hour of the night for over 14 years now. Their service and care is topnotch. Im not sure why people say they are expensive; they are considerably less than most vets, esp vets of the same quality. And they are conservative in their care, listen to their patients, weigh the options and assist in making the best decision for the client and their pet(s). We own a variety of dogs and work with rescue dogs and have found ourselves in a variety of situations needing critical or after-hours care. They ALWAYS help. They are one of few clinics that will do after-hours call (weeknights) for their clients. And they will also make HOUSE CALLS, which is incredibly important to us when it comes to euthanising a beloved pet. I just cant say enough good things and wish I could give them ONE HUNDRED STARS. They have always been patient and fair with us -- even when we might not have deserved it!!! :) THANKS CAH!!

Nov 2016: wanted to add review but could only edit this one. My love for VCA Carrollton grows with every visit. The staff cannot be beat-they care and it shows. I trust no one else to care for my pets--my wonderful, loving fur babies are Blessings to my life--they are family. And I want everyone to know that this office continues to be the best. I cant say enough about CAH; The Vets--all the staff do bang-up jobs. They care about the animals they treat and it shows in the way they handle the animals and the advice they give. My daughter moved to Atlanta years ago but still brings her pets to CAH. She had to use an Atlanta emergency animal hospital for a kitten and was given terrible advice on what to do. They stabilized the kitten and she brought it to Dr Williamson and did NOT do what the Atlanta ER recommended. The kitten is now a very active, healthy and happy cat (I kept it). We do not trust anyone like we trust CAH. Thank you all and May God Bless.

Fantastic! I am new to the area and took my two cats in for a first time visit. The entire staff were friendly and patient with me and my questions, and my wild cat! Which is amazing since she has claws and knows how to use them. After shots and trim she still didnt claw one of them.... now that takes cat whisperer skills! My second cat was charm himself and the Doctor was so skilled neither noticed the shot! Will definitely be back!

I love taking my fur-babies to VCA Carrollton. The staff and physicians there are always kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. They are willing to work with me when I dont always know what is going on or how I am going to pay. They are truly the best vet around and my fur-babies, AnnaBelle and Beethoven, love them. I recommend them to everyone.

Absolutely fantastic! Everyone there was nice and more than happy to help us with our 3 kittens. They answered all the questions we had and gave us loads of stuff to help us with our young developing kittens. I cant praise this place enough. I would recommend it to anyone with a pet!
