I am a family nurse practitioner, dog lover, and dog trainer. Dr. McCord and his staff are simply the greatest people around. But it isnt JUST their empathy and professionalism..it is their knowledge and technique that drives the most raves. When I moved to west Georgia in 2011 from Honolulu, HI I asked everyone "Whos a good vet?" The first ten people said: "Dr. McCord at Bowdon!" They even had his number on their cell phones. He is keeping my service dog Sammy healthy and vibrant. You wont find a better vet, boarding kennel, or staff anywhere else.

Wonderful vets office, big open waiting areas, friendly staff and vets. They are caring, care about the animals as well as the owners. They have a business to run so they arent able to do anything for free if you arent able to pay BUT they will give helpful resources and suggestions, and they will also let you know how much you are looking to pay. Dont think they dont care because they wont do for free they do, they still have to run a business and pay their bills too.

The people were rude and they acted like they could care less. I was in there when a girl probley around 18 or 19 walked in and asked if they did on the job training the lady and the front desk said yeah we do, but were not hiring ( very rudely). The girl was real nice and said oh well thankyou and the girl said yeah sure (rudely again). I decided right then if they treat normal people like that then i dont wanna know how they treat my animals when im not around.

I have been bringing my cats to Dr. McCord for nineteen years now and wouldnt trust them to anyone else. The staff are awesome and they treat both the owners and pets with great respect. I would recommend them highly to anyone who wants the best care for their pets.

Weve tried other clinics closer to home (Carrollton) and keep going back to Bowdon Animal Clinic. Its clean, the staff is very friendly, and they are flexible and easy to work with when scheduling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I found a baby puppy and his paw was badly hurt, Dr Emily and her staff got him in and are now fixing him up!! They are amazing up there and so welcoming!! If I get any pets I will definitely always go through them!!
