We started using Dr. Baxter a few years ago. Then recently, our cat Sketches was going down hill, losing weight, not controlling his bowels etc. We took him to Lakeview and all Dr. Baxter said was "hes old, you need to consider putting him down" We then went to another vet, and within mins found out that he just has low protein in his diet and a slight kidney infection. With in a week, Sketches was a whole different cat. She also misdiagnosed my fathers dog, Roscoe, with "allergys" and today after taking him to our new vet, found out that he has cancer and its too far along to treat it now...She should have found it when we took him to her a month earlier and instead she overcharged us for NO ANSWERS and treated me and my family and our animals with no respect and was of no help what so ever. DO NOT GO TO THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

I am a new pet owner, so obviously I was nervous about making the right decision for my pet. Dr. Baxter came with the best recommendations, so I went to her, and I could not be happier. Her staff make me feel so comfortable every time I walk in. They always recognize Charlie (my dog) and make him feel welcome too. Hes always excited to go there (even after shots!). Dr. Baxter is knowledgeable without pushing a ton of expensive and unneeded testing. She will not cost you extra money unless she sees a need! And she will give you honest information. I would never go anywhere else and I have recommended her to my friends numerous times. She and her staff are awesome!

Dr.baxter is a wonderful vet. Her and staff are both honest and caring. Some vets its all about rush you in rush you out and of course the cash. I had another vet recommend a very expensive surgery recently. I decided to get a second opinion. Dr.baxter was up front and honest and I couldnt be more appreciative to her care and advice. The staff is friendly, knowledgable. Overall Ive been pleased and Im picky and methodical. This is a wonderful vet Id highly recommend.

They have been my vet for years with no problem. I took my 8 month old kitten there because he was not eating or drinking. They said it was an infected/abscessed tooth and they were going to pull it...he didnt last through the night, now theyre saying he had internal damage. Why didnt she figure that out when she first examines him?! They promised me that he would be okay!! I am completly heartbroken right now

Dr.Baxter and her staff were very carrying,my shepherd Max was having kidney failure and was on fluids for several days, Dr.and staff made me feel comfortable to freely come and Go as I wanted to spend time with Max,I felt they done everything possible to save his life and I appreciate ed all that they done

I took my dog to them and dr baxter really did nothing just gave him a shot and pills that didnt help my 3yr old dog died I will never go there agine
