After delaying a dental visit for quite some time and suffering a painful cracked tooth, I was in need of an extraction immediately. Dr. Adamson and the staff were more than accomodating and very efficient. The office is very clean and modern and the staff even use two-way radios to communicate with each other when at other stations. My paperwork and insurance verification was done quickly and was thoroughly explained by their friendly office staff. Though my procedure was a bit "challenging", Oral Surgeon Dr. Pilgrim did great work on ensuring my comfort and explained the procedures in laymans terms throughout. All of the personnel were very personable and friendly, but professional. Though I am not privvy to the latest in dental technology, it was apparent that they were using the best equipment necessary. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on bringing my family to their fine practice. I consider myself a regular customer from now on. Thanks guys! Jason B.

I have been here twice and on my 3rd visit Allatoona for a cleaning and the stated I needed to do a yearly x-ray. I asked if i could pass since they have last years and I did not feel comfortable doing so. I dont like all that radiation. It doesnt matter if you have that vest over you or not, tons of radiation goes into the body. The claimed that they needed a x-ray to make sure I dont have or get cavities. I understand that, but doesnt a company refusing to clean someones teeth make it worst? I was willing to waive it and sign it. They were very rude and I walked out. I have told friends and family members out this and they agree with me and will no longer go.

I am so impressed with this Dental Group. I called this morning to see when they could see me, as I was experiencing pain in my jaw, head and ear. They had me come in at 2:00 - the friendliest staff, and I was greeted by a young lady name Jo, who immediately took me back and started doing all the X-rays needed for the Dr. to determine my problem. Then I was introduced to Dr. Adamson - what a pleasant experience. She was so polite and caring and very thorough in determining my problem. Since my previous dentist retired unexpectedly, I needed to find a new dentist. I have now found them. Thank you so much Dr. Adamson and Allatoona Family Dental

The staff is not professional at all. The staff there does not have good communication skills amongst each other. Every time I called nobody knew what was going on. I have asked on several occassions to let me know what my insurance would cover. When I called back they couldnt find any of my information. They also offered to send the initial paper work to my house, to save time, which they never did. Then they threatened me with a letter over a bill that is less then what I would pay for my monthly water bill. Overall their office is less than satisfactory. I wont be going back!!!!!

This was by far the best experience Ive had at a dentist. I came in because I needed a crown and ended up getting a root canal and crown done same day!! (Other than coming in 3 weeks later for my permanent crown) I was so impressed by dr.Fitzgerald and his staff. The procedure was painless and quick. The office was beautiful, they have flat screen TVs and headphones if you want to do that while getting work done, they accommodate you to however you see fit. I will definitely be coming back for any future needs and recommending dr.Fitzgerald to family and friends.

Terrible customer service! My son is new to the area and was having problems with a wisdom tooth so I made him an appointment with this dentist office. On the day of the appointment they changed his appointment time, twice, which was a little confusing. He ended up being just a few minutes late to his appointment, because he had trouble finding it so they refused to see him or even reschedule him. They said that was their "policy". Policy!? - I guess their policy is to have NO compassion for potentially new patients, even if they are in severe tooth pain!

This is by far the worst dental experience I have had in my entire Life. My mouth will never be the same. They do not communicate or explain prodedures. The dental assistants seem to be running the place and not the Dentist. Only spoke to him a few times and he was rude and arrogant. The work had to be redone 3 times. Had to pay up front for all the work and then after they started, there was no way to get my money back and go somewhere else. Avoid these people!!

Im a huge baby with severe dental anxiety. Dr. Fitz was very gentle and made my fillings bearable. Next time, I will probably consider doing the oral sedation, but all and all was an excellent experience. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable- they even filed my insurance for me and gave my a pretty accurate estimate of what they would pay and made sure I understood before they began treatment. I would HIGHLY recommend this office!

I had my bi-annual cleaning today. Once again a positive experience. Everyone seems to enjoy their work and they welcome me every time. They have changed my childhood memories of terror to a "not-so-bad" duty twice a year. I travel from Smyrna to Cartersville because they are worth the trip. I am so glad my daughter found them and let me know about this excellent dental group.

I admit, I expected a lot out of Allatoona Family Dental and I was NOT disappointed.They were altogether friendly, professional, and thorough; much more than my previous dental office. As most people, I really dont like going to the dentist. Yesterday I had to get a crown and a filling. The technician and denist where so friendly and considerate of my uneasiness. They both did a wonderful job!! Best dentist experience for me☺!! I would strongly recommend Allatoona Family Practice for your dental needs.

Its been a positive experience to be a patient of Allatoona Family Dental since 2004! After contacting them about seeing if they could adjust their schedule to accommodate me, they were able to!! Then I had the pleasure to meet a new dental hygienist (Kell) to their family. Great staff in general inside this office!!

My 10 year old daughter had a bad experience with "bite wings" at a previous dental office to the point she was afraid to go to another dentist. The staff at Allatoona were friendly and took the time to reassure my daughter of each step they took. She had a great visit and we will go back!

Best dental experience Ive ever had. Dr. Weldon & the whole Altoona staff has been exemplary in both courtesy and service in both of mine and Alices visits. We will never go anywhere else for our dental services, period. You folks are the best. See you all next appointment.
