I went in there as a new patient, for a specific problem with a specific tooth. The dentist comes in, and the finance/office manager is in their with us as well. Before the dentist even talks to me about my problem, he and the finance manager go over my x-rays, talking about all the procedures of mine that they were hoping to make money on. When he finally comes over to talk to me, he doesnt even address the problem I came in there for. He starts a list of all the things I "need" to have done. He recommends doing a procedure that a dentist Id seen years ago advised against because it wouldnt work without me having my bite fixed with braces. I told the Aspen dentist this, and he just kept pushing it. Again, this wasnt even the problem I came in for, which was an infection because I need a root canal in a different tooth. I told him I wasnt interested in any of the long list of procedures he was trying to push on me. He wrote a referral to an endodontist for the root canal, and then I was sent into the finance managers office, for a "consultation". The finance guys first question was, "Have you set aside any money to pay for this?" I said, "Pay for what?" I have dental insurance. Whatever the insurance doesnt cover, I will just pay out of pocket. But he was pressuring me to finance. I have never, in all my life, been in a medical professionals office that felt so predatory, and I have a few decades under my belt. I will not be going back to any Aspen office again. I will go well out of my way to go to a dentist in another town. If you search for reviews of Aspen, you will see many, many more reviews like mine.

Worst experience ever, they couldnt help me at all. They kept telling me to come back. I went up there countless number of times. I had a 7:45 appointment which I was there very early for. When I was done the consultant couldnt do anything for and asked me to come back at 2. Mind you before I left I asked what their lunch time was and I was told from 12:00-1:30. I got back at 2 and was told the consultant was at lunch. When it was 3:30 he still wasnt done with this so called lunch so I left. I came back 4:30 and asked to see the consultant again and was told they are getting ready to leave at 5. The time on the door said they close at 6:30. I left my contact info and ask them to call me the next day. They open at 7 am in the morning. When I didnt get a call by 9:30 I decided to call the consultant. He didnt answer so I just called the office itself instead. They couldnt help me still and I was told they will get the consultant to call me right back. 48 hours later I still havent heard from them. This is WORST dental clinic ever, I wouldnt even recommend to the person I hate the most.

Quite possibly my worst dental experience ever. I called and made an emergency appointment - I had a broken front tooth. I get there and go through the entire new patient intake process during which they attempted to sell me electric toothbrushes and cancer screenings. When that was finished and I finally saw the dentist she presented me with my options - I wanted to go ahead and get the filling done. They had to make a separate appointment because the dentist couldnt be bothered to stay FIVE MINUTES past the time she was scheduled to leave. Id broken my tooth, taken off work, and driven well over an hour to this appointment. The very least she could have down was take care of me the same day. I go back to my appointment two days later. When I get home and get the feeling back in my face, I discover the back of the filling strikes my bottom teeth when I bite. Of course theyll fix it provided I make another appointment and drive another hour there and another back. Ive never had such bad dental experiences in my life! I will NEVER use Aspen Dental again!

Went in with terrible teeth- jaw swollen and infection. They did X-rays and checked teeth. I asked dentist for antibiotics and possibly pulling tooth that was broken n causing the problem. He did not want to write prescription or treat tooth that was causing problem. Sent to room w salesman that ran credit check to try to get financing for $13000 worth of dental work that they could start on if I had a few thousand to pay right then. Also offered a "today only" price if I would start services that day on the whole mouth plan they came up with. They were polite but did not help one bit with the problem I went in for and had no interest in doing work on the tooth that was causing pain n swelling unless I would sign up for thousands of dollars worth of work and either get credit or pay right then. If u cant get pain treatment n antibiotics and work on teeth as u can afford it then whats the point in going?

Needed to make an emergency appointment for my wife on Saturday. Because of traffic issues we were running a little. I called them and they stated that it was okay and to just come in. When were almost there, they called and wanted to reschedule. I advised that she was in tremendous pain and only 2 minutes away. The woman said okay and when we arrived the door was locked and it took more than 10 minutes standing in the cold and rain before someone finally came to the door. On Monday, my wife was still in tremendous pain and they said for her to come in and have the tooth removed. The staff wasnt friendly and the doctor refused to prescribe anything for pain after pulling her tooth. He told her now that the infected tooth was gone, she should not have any pain. You just removed a price of bone form her mouth! Of coarse there will be pain! I will never take any of my family or myself to this place again!

Arrived 15 minutes early and the receptionist didnt come to the front until my appointment time. When filling out the initial paperwork the HIPAA compliance form was missing. It wasnt in anyone elses packet either that day. It took them a long time to find it which just goes to show how often they make sure patients are informed before consenting. Beyond that point, they did my X-rays before verifying my insurance. I accidentally put down the wrong insurance and they almost charged me out of pocket for it. Thankfully, it was all corrected. The staff was nice too. The equipment they use looks really old with chipped paint and cracked meter covers. The place was clean though and the doctor was gentle with my inspection. Even though it wasnt the greatest experience because of poor organization, the polite and friendly staff made the difference.

On my first visit the wait to be seen was extremely long. Long time in waiting room and then long time in chair. More than an hour behind. Then they tell me what needs to be done. Go into the managers office for payment. Paid the man and then I go back a few weeks later for follow up. They hand me this electric toothbrush. I go home and look at my bill (shame on me for not looking earlier) and they charged me $120 for an electric toothbrush without asking me if I wanted it or even notifying me that they were including it in the charges. What do I need with a $120 toothbrush!!! I just assumed they were charging me for the work they were doing (cleaning and fillings).Never imagined they would slip in a toothbrush. Shame on them. I will be taking it back and asking for a refund.
