This was my third visit and all was well besides the fact I had to pay everything up front because last time my insurance was ran Delta Dental still had my last name wrong since I was married since then and it was denied. I finally fixed it for the third and final time and my balance was back to 0. That is why they made me pay up front. Well I agreed even though it was a insurance mistake and was not my fault for being a delayed payment. So after talking to Kim I was promised a check of what the insurance did cover when it came in. Three weeks later, no check. I called and talked to my insurance company to find out my insurance paid the very next day and was deposited. I called urgent dental and talked to the front desk. She said it was credited to my account,...so what happened to my check in the mail? She said the only way to get it was to have her call the Louisville office and let them know I need a check for over payment. She also said if I didnt receive the check in a week to give a call back. A week passed and I called them back. This time I talked to Kim who seemed oblivious to my request . She took my name and number again and said it would take up to three weeks. Are you kidding me! She would call back with information after she talked to Louisville office. I did not get any calls back again. Another week later i decided to call the Louisville office myself. I talked to Sally who was the most helpful staff of all. She CALLED ME BACK, to let me know the check will be in the mail by tomorrow. This all happened today 6/27/2013 so I should see the check by Saturday or Monday, yay! Thank you so much Sally for not giving me the run around like Kim did. Kim really needs to brush up on her customer service instead of leading them on with false information. 3 weeks my a**!!! Thanks again Sally- great customer service :-) You were the only one who helped! -Elisha G.

On 10/05/2014 I visited this office due to toothache. In spite of presenting proof of Dental Insurance, that was confirmed online with Metlife, I was asked to pay for the procedure. I agreed to pay for it with my HSA debit card, and I made a remark that once my insurance pays for this procedure, I will have to pay back this amount to my HSA so that my taxes are legal. The lady at the front desk said that I don’t have to do that and I don’t have to worry about being legal with my HSA. That was my first red flag about this business. Several days later, I was informed by my insurance, Metlife, that this procedure was paid in full by them and I don’t owe anything to the business. I called them and I was told that they would send me a check in the next couple of days. A week after I called again and I was told that my check is in the mail. I waited one more week and called again and I was told that the check was not mailed and that the manager from Louisville would call me the next day. That didn’t happen either and I realized that this business is not willing to refund money I paid for my procedure in spite the fact they were paid in full by my insurance and the fact they have agreement with my insurance company that they cannot charge me more for this service.

I dont know what kind of experiences other people may have or have not had at this West Chester office but in my view and my experience it would have been unrealistic to expect things to have gone much better. I cracked a molar, lost a filling, and had an exposed nerve, which was very, very sensitive. Probably got there around 11ish as a walk-in on Saturday the 30th. The day before new years eve, and by the time I was out, around 330 or so, not only had they saved the cracked tooth and removed the old filling and refilled it, they had done x-rays, and identified another filling that needs to be replaced in the future. Plus the novocaine shots I received were the most skillfully administered and least uncomfortable I have ever received. The only con was not their fault but it had nothing to do with them. My insurance office was closed so I had to be a cash pay since they had no way of knowing what the reimbursement rate would be. The receptionist said she would call me today with that information. So obviously I recommend this place.

A few months ago I woke up on a Saturday morning at two oclock.. with severe pain , and I couldnt sleep. I went to the gym at 3 or 4 .. as soon as places opened I called trying to get in .. no one would take me. I finally called urgent Dental they told me to come on in .. Dr Walker "Jane " helped me flush my gums then wrote me a prescription to help infection .... fast forward to today i decided it was long overdue for a cleaning , so naturally i called urgent Dental to see if Jane was working She was! My teeth look like new , and feel better than I can remember , she took extra time to do a difficult job right.. ! I Really appreciate the work she did to make me feel great .. I could have hugged her ,and the staff! Then when i mentioned i would be paying out of pocket they worked with me on the price .. how cool is that! I cant speak for all the dentist , but Ill be back to see Dr . Walker !

I visited today because of a wisdom tooth problem. I had read the reviews, but had few options on a Sunday. Unfortunately, they informed me that office policy is exactly as many have stated here: they accept no insurance—Humana, Anthem, or other.—in spite of their website declaring they accept most major insurance. They require patient to pay in full up front before submitting claim for reimbursement to insurer. They didnt even give any excuse for why they then receive reimbursement from insurers, yet refuse to reimburse the patient who has already paid them as well. My deductible would have been %50. A friend who had the exact same problem was charged $150 here, so I thought it would be worth it to get it taken care of. But they told me the procedure would start at $275. I told them I would just take more Tylenol and go to a real dentist on Monday.

The worst customer service, such a lack of professionalism. I am a working mom with 2 young children. I work a full time and part time job. I have insurance that I pay for via my full time job as well as Caresource that I am still on as I am recovering from a workplace injury that happened 3 years ago. When the receptionist found out I also had caresource she treated me like I had the plague and tried to trick me into signing a self pay waver without explaining it at all. She refused to allow me to use the insurance that they accept and would only see me if I did self pay without any estimate of what the procedure would cost. I dont know if this one classless idiot is a representation of the entire practice but she was a horrid first impression. I will never use this office and I hope they go out of business for practicing in this manner.
