We started taking our sons to Distinctive Dentistry in late summer of 2006. We will never, ever go anywhere else! Dr. Shirley and his entire team are the most warm and welcoming people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our youngest son, who is 8, loves to go and enjoys getting into water fights with Ms. Kathy! Weve had one dental emergency in which I called and left a message at about 5:00am to see if we could get in for an appointment and Nicole was calling us as soon as she arrived in the office to come on in! Then, when an oral surgeon was needed, the team worked quickly to get the records and xrays over to the surgeon asap so that they would be there when we arrived. THEN they called to check in the next day to see how we were all doing. Ive had some cavities filled by Dr. Shirley in the last couple of years and I have never felt pain. Hes truly gentle and wants his patients to be comfortable. We trust Dr. Shirley and his team with the oral health of our precious sons and feel that you will not go wrong choosing them for yourself or your family! Melissa Black Dallas, GA

I have been a patient of Dr Bickford for more than 25 years and he still is not old. He has always played the best music and has the best staff and technology. I trust Dr Bickford and his staff to take care of my whole families dental health. My son was born with a congenitally missing tooth, which means one of his front permanent teeth never formed. As my son was growing and started lossing his baby teeth he needed special attention to make sure this missing tooth was not noticable. Dr Bickford recommend braces and a dental surgeron to help make this missing tooth un-noticable until my son was old enough to have an implant. Dr Bickford did a super job with his matching and forming and placement of the implant. The staff is so caring and were great during this long process, it was well worth going through the braces and then he needed his teeth whitened and then the surgery and now my son has a beatuiful smile. My son just graduated high school and will be attending college with self confidence,

What a great experience I had at Distinctive Dentistry. My old dentist was way over near Roswell and it took an hour to get there. I live in Dallas and hated the long drive and all that time being anxious thinking about dental procedures. I needed some extensive rework on old fillings and many caps, crowns, and veneers. Well Doctor Bickford and his trusty Tech Becky came to my rescue. I now have a million dollar smile and a warm fuzzy feeling about going to the dentist. I know, really? It is the truth. Everyone there, from the front office to the dental hygienist, is excellent and I now have my husband going in for check-ups too. Dr Bickford is a true gentleman and a scholar. He knows so much just about everything and he has a great sense of humor. What more could you ask for in a dentist: skill, wit and compassion.

I really enjoyed my experience here! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they explained things as they were working on my teeth, told me why things happen, and explained how to prevent the issues. They provided me with referrals for an orthodontist and it was obvious that they care about getting you the best treatment. I was also pleasantly surprised with the pricing and membership plan. Since Im new to the Dallas area, Im very glad to have found a quality dentist right off the bat, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dental experience!

Excellent!!! Honestly, I am very blessed to have this awesome team of employees always going above and beyond for me. I am probably one of the worst patients they have. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. I have a horrible problem with cancelling my appts due to the fear of having anyone in my mouth. Dr. Bickford has been my dentist for over 25 years and is very professional with excellent service. They do not overcharge and work closely with our insurance. My husband sees Dr. Shirley and has had comparable service. Their dental hygienists are timely so working on a tight cleaning schedule while juggling work is also possible. My daughter will now be seeing Dr. Bickford too now that she is leaving a pediatric dentist.

Distinctive Dentistry is a rare combination of dentists who are true experts and love caring for people, a friendly and helpful staff, and a well-run operation. Our first experience was when my son needed a root canal and tooth whitening, and the whole experience was great. My son was nervous but had virtually no pain or discomfort, and they made him feel very comfortable. Id highly recommend DD.

Reached out to Dr. Shirley for a dental emergency over the weekend and never heard back. Called first thing monday morning and I was told "go find another dentist" or he could schedule me to come by in about a month. Dont know Dr. Bickford but Dr. Shirley was incredibly unprofessional and spoke to other patients about me and my appointment cancellations. There are better dentist in that area.

My wife and I have been patients for decades and have never had a bad experience. The entire staff is extremely friendly, professional and excellent at what they do. Our children now go here and they love it as well. Were always able to be seen even when an emergency comes up and have never had any issues with insurance or payment for services.
