I thought this was a great place. The Vet was very nice and I spent over $1000 dollars within the past 6 months at this place from cats to dogs. The problem occurred when one of my animals needed tests. They were not up front with the prices until being at the register. Expecting it to be around 100 - 150 it was over double that. The issue became that I didnt have the amount of money they required at the time so we agreed to pay the remaining 25% of it when we had the funds. About 3 weeks later, not sure who the lady was, but she called being very rude and threatened to call the sheriff. I tried to explain that I would pay the next day. She insisted I give a time that I was going to call and I told her I was unsure because I was in meetings all day. She kept insisting that if i didnt pay she would call the Sheriff and that they were a place of business that didnt extend credit! I understand they need their money and I had every intention to pay them. The behavior completely threw me off and I did not expect this type of unprofessional attitude coming from this place. What kind of business is this? This kind of behavior is unheard of. Not to mention I have two different tests on animals that I never received. ididnt threaten to call the "Sheriff" for this. I would also think they would call and tell you the test results when they received them. Not a good business practice or a way to treat customers. The lady didnt even care when I said I would not come back to the facility. The Veterinarian was great but he also might have been behind the phone call. I dont recommend. In response to the reply from the business. My review is not intended to be angry but to only provide an honest review of my experience. This review and their response only show my initial posts truth. Claiming that they didnt have a contact number is not true since there was no problem making contact with me for payment. It seems the time frame for them is misunderstood. I did receive calls and yes I did say that I forgot which is the truth. They seemed only interested in payment when I received calls from them. I just assumed that since they didnt come forth with test results that they were not back from the lab yet. Things happen that put some things out of mind. This is the only time I was helped financially with payment because it was unexpected. They have never assisted me financially as they claim below. I am glad there was a response as it shows the lack of integrity and honesty. Every Vet I have dealt with in the last 20 years has always called with test results. People pay a lot of money to take care of their pets and I am not complaining about the pet care however the administrative practice at this facility is deserving of a single star. If they used a collection agency I am not aware of it because the person who called me on several occasions claimed to be St.Francis animal hospital. They apparently will call the sheriff for payment and do not care if you return to their facility. Wow!

Recently had one of our cats brought in for ear mites...as expected diagnosed the problem then prescribed an RX treatment. In addition to the an excessive charge of an office visit, plus shots etc, to the medication needed...I paid the required bill. When I went back to obtain additionl medication for the 2 other cats in the home the medication was more expensive in less then a weeks time (approx $7.00 more!) Plus they "requested" a follow up visit in another week, where an additional office visit charges would be applied once again. Tried to work out more reasonable fee schedule (have 2 other cats) and all I was advised how lucky we were to speak directly to the Vet instead of office personnal. Along with their excuse since "they" ran out of this particilar medication a new order had to be placed costing them /me more? Maybe a nice location and good attention to the animals they see, but the fees they charge and long with the privilege of speaking to the vet ( as we have always done with our pets every other facility) are way too expensive. The say you get what you pay for but in this case...they feel their costs are justified because you get to talk to a vet? Seriously its not that special or cost justified... along with no effort to wanting us to bring our other pets there unless we want to pay top dollar for this "special attention." No thanks!

I love this place! I recently & accidentally acquired a new puppy that was dumped on the side of the road. I was referred here from my friend who is also a vet & highly recommended this practice. Both Drs were beyond professional were able to accommodate me on a very short notice. They took the time to explain in full detail everything and came out and sat down with me in the waiting room while my puppy was being treated. The office was very clean, unlike the vet I have been visiting. Their perspective on pet health and care is preventative and also includes progressive vet medicine. I even got a hug at the end. I switched my vets to this one. This place is awesome and I will def recommend them to everyone! I wish them the best of success and they are well on their way! :)

After going to several different veterinarians, Doctor Godly exceeded all my expectations. We had a deathly ill Old English Bulldogge who survived against all odds. We truly believe that the only reason he had survived was because of Dr. Godlys attention to detail and his personal commitment to the recovery of Otis. We will be using Dr. Godly and St. Francis Animal Hospital to take care of all of our pets needs. On a personal note, I would like to say thank you for all that you have done for our family. You guys are the best! :)

They are the best! They go above and beyond, ALWAYS. I have two pugs that have both had major health issues and they were with me every step of the way. They are so compassionate! Dr. Godley will take the time to make sure you understand everything that is happening, what the options are, what "could" happen, etc. He is very detailed and provides all the information one could need, in a way that a non-vet can understand. I would recommend them to anyone, and would drive 100 miles to go to them if I had to!

I had an emergency with my dog which required stitching up, and of course it happened right at closing time. I quickly called before they left the office, and they were kind enough to stay open an extra hour and see to my pup. It may not seem like much, but if I had had to take him to the emergency vet hospital, it would have cost me three times as much. Thank you for going the extra mile!

Dr. Godley has treated our dogs for the last 8 years and is awesome. He identifies maladies quickly and always has a thorough and effective resolution for them. Hes very friendly and clearly loves animals. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. The store is always clean and well managed and very convenient for me.
