Weve been customers at this practice since it opened. Overall I am happy with the staff and the care my dogs receive from BAH. We used to board our dogs at their facility but had a very bad experience in 2013. The office manager contacted us and apologized, refunded our money, made staffing changes, etc. I was so very angry that I vowed I would not ever bring my dogs there again. After a bit, I calmed down and realized that the techs and the veterinarians are not the kennel help, so I did bring my dogs back for their medical needs only. Theyve seen a lot of my dogs this year. Our two female dogs got in to a knock down, drag out fight in early January. This was brutal and there was a lot of damage to each dog. Dr. Hiers worked with us to get them both healed and better. Then, just in August one of our dogs had a terrible liver issue. Dr. Mizell did wonderful job with her and saved her life. Thats not to say any of it was cheap...they could probably build a new wing on to the hospital with the money Ive spent there this year alone. They are more expensive than other vets in the area. Even so, our dogs and my family know and trust the front office, techs and vets there so we will continue to patronize BAH (for medical purposes). Thank you to all of you for taking wonderful care of Trixi and Sadie.

I have taken my cat there quite a few times. He has a flea treatment that we give him once a month at home. Twice, they asked me about giving him flea drops & I told them, "no, he is allergic to that kind & I have some at home that works for him" & twice they disregarded what I had said & gave it to him. Not only was I charged for it, but I also had to watch him suffer from the allergic reaction. The first time it happened I was very clear that it was unacceptable & he had a reaction. After the second time Ive just chosen to take him somewhere else. If I cant trust them with something as simple as flea treatment Id rather not have to trust them with anything serious.

All of the staff are very caring and friendly. I first called Brookstone Animal Hospital when my original vet recommended I put my 4 month old puppy to sleep due to his aggression issues. Even though I was not yet a client, the vet from Brookstone called me back and spent time discussing the issues. I made an appointment and they got him straight into a room upon arrival. The vet spent a lot of time with us and determined that our dog had fear aggression and anxiety which we have been able to work on with medication and training. He is one year old now and just the most loving little dog!

This place has the worst record keeping I have ever seen. Not only did they overcharge us by $400 but they gave my dog shots that he had already had three weeks prior. There were so many additional charges on our bill for shots and exams for our three dogs that we did not approve and additional nights of boarding. They fixed the bill once we called but it makes me wonder how many other people have been overcharged and didnt notice it. They obviously care more about the money than my pets welfare so we will not be returning.

I brought both of my dogs in to see Dr. Hiers and I honestly cant say enough about how professional and amazing the entire staff is at Brookstone. They went above and beyond for my dogs and answered all of my questions. Im one of the neurotic owners and they were so patient with me and friendly, even after all my questions! The technicians were so informative and very friendly. The front staff greeted me by name upon arrival, which makes a client feel extra special. I would give them 10 stars if I could! HIGHLY recommended!!!!

Very expensive, basically saw the techs and not the vet. They take your animal out to give it its shots, instead of doing it in front of you. Also, they didnt follow through on calls with the results. After paying that much, I deserved to have the call back they told me they would give me and not have to remember to check on it myself. Thank goodness there was nothing wrong with my animal, I just dont think I could rely on them in a situation where it was necessary. They also try to up sell you on everything.

My furry kids have been patients here for a few years now. I love the clean, clean lobby and exam rooms and everybody there has always been so helpful and friendly. Dr. Mizell is super as is Dr. Hiers. They provide thorough medical care and are also kind and supportive. I have also boarded "the girls" and have been extremely happy with how they are treated and with the accommodations! I highly recommend Brookstone! Call them and make an appointment to tour the entire practice. You will be glad you did!

Beautiful, clean building that was built recently. Over-the-top friendly staff that arent afraid to go out of their way to help. Very knowledgeable, empathetic doctors, especially Dr. Mizell- its hard to trust my dog with anyone, but she has definitely earned it. I cant recommend this place enough, especially over some of the local competitors I had to go to over the years before they opened. Excellent vet!

My highest recommendations go to Brookstones boarding facility! The staff went above and beyond to learn our English Bulldogs regular routine before she arrived to make her stay pleasant. We have boarded her at different places, but the attention to detail and friendly staff at Brookstone has won us and her over!
