Jim Quarto
My name is Jim Quarto and Id like to share my experience with Dr. Agha and his Staff. I wrote them a letter and instead of writing a review Im going to post it here. Please read the following: First and foremost I want to thank all of you for everything youve done for me concerning the sizeable cancer I had on the tip of my nose and its removal. On my first visit a sample was taken and sent it to the lab to see exactly what we were looking at. On my next visit the following day you removed / cut out the cancer but because of its location you didnt want to go too deep and the lab reported that you didnt get it all and you immediately scheduled an appointment me for the next day at your Acworth office even though you werent working at that office that day....Amber and yourself made a special trip just for me to have the rest of the cancer removed and sent to the lab to see if it came back "clear", which it did. You then scheduled me for an appointment for the very next day to do a skin graft to close the wound with very specific instructions about how to give the graft proper care and treatment here at home to help the healing and to avoid any infection that was possible without the proper care. All of this was done in one week...unbelievable to say the least!!!! As for Amber, Kelsey and Janet you have a great staff assisting you like no other Ive ever seen. They are, like yourself, very friendly and caring, taking pride in their work and treating me like family all at once. They are extremely professional in what they do and made me feel at home during a procedure that was not an easy one, and one I was very anxious (afraid), which went away completely when they were "prepping" me for you to proceed. Being I had to be "numbed" for each procedure they did so with care, actually apologizing with each injection for causing me pain with the numerous injections that I had to receive to numb up the sites. I believe Kelsey did the first set (not sure) and Amber was the one who did the all the others, both of them saying they were sorry with each injection I was given. I found this very soothing that they cared enough to make sure they werent hurting me more than necessary, which they didnt (although the first injections hurt). Kudos to them for making it as painless as possible!!! Janet observed everything done and assisted both Amber and Kelsey as well as yourself. She did a fine job also. You picked a great staff and Im sure all your patients would agree with me. Dr. Agha, I cant thank you enough for the concessions you made for me when I explained my being disabled, my financial situation due to that and my lack of transportation that made it impossible for me to get to your main office in Douglasville, which is where you normally do your surgeries. When learning of this you racked your brain for quite awhile trying to figure out a solution, and the answer you came up with was for you to do the surgery at your Acworth office even though you were just moving in there and had minimal equiptment to do surgerys there yet. Thank you again for everything you and your staff have done for me and you can bet that should anyone I know need a Dermatoligst, I will send them your way. Im also going to post on every website I can find to let people know how great you all are. *** I now have the skin graft, and although extremely ugly the first few days because the graft was new and hadnt had a chance to attach yet. Every day it looks better and better and now has a red tint to it which I believe indicates it is now receiving blood flow and has attached correctly. I have an appointment next Friday 5/29 to have the sutures removed and have Dr. Agha ensure everything of all good. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing Dermatology care. He works out of 3 different offices (Acworth, Marietta and Douglasville) so he is accessible to almost everyone at one of his offices. I cant brag on him and his staff enough...the above letter says it all!!! ***

After a friend urged me to see a dermatologist (I have red hair and freckles) I reluctantly agreed. Since I have very high deductible insurance I searched online for free skin cancer screenings. To my surprise I found that Dr. Agha offer free screenings. It happened they were offering screenings the next day on a walk-in basis right down the road from me (this was in his new office in Acworth, I am in Cartersville). So I forced myself to break from my extremely busy schedule to find an extremely pleasant atmosphere. The office had a very laid back feel and the ladies behind the desk were busy yet super friendly and professional. I did have to wait awhile but I expected that with a free visit on a walk in basis. Meeting Dr. Agha made it worth my while. After my exam, I asked about the dangers of certain sunscreens. To my pleasant surprise, he knew all about it and we continued a wonderful conversation about holistic approaches to lifestyle and disease (I am schooling to become a holistic health coach). I am so THRILLED to find an M.D. in our area (NW Georgia) that actually "gets it"! I can only hope that more M.D.s take the time to educate themselves on holistic measures! Dr. Agha is terrific...very approachable, extremely up to date on current methods and (ahem) easy on the eyes. I highly recommend!

This doctor is the WORST, the staff was pleasant and nice. Him as a doctor is RUDE, very unprofessional. He treats anyone with Peachcare with disrespect and cannily also refer to " Well you have Medicare" I have spoken to others and said the something. The medicine he gave my son blotched his skin out, I had to take him back and choose to walk out after I told him how I felt. He was VERY disrespectful and, I reported him to the Well care office and they apologized and said they have gotten several complaints on him. Unfortunly, he is the only one in the area, but I choose to drive almost an hour away just to take my son somewhere else. I will do a home remedy before I ever take a dog back there.

I have been Dr. Aghas patient for over a year- he came highly recommended by my dentist and other acquaintances- I asked a lot of people and his name kept coming up. Dr. Agha is right on with his judgment - almost all the dark spots that he removes came back as pre-cancerous and had to be extracted further. The staff is very polite and professional; sometimes there is quite a long wait time so I schedule my appointment on days when I am not in a hurry. I feel with Dr. Aghas expertise I am one step ahead and well protected against skin cancer.

I brought my six year old daughter here at the recommendation of her pediatrician and allergist. It was without a doubt one the worst experiences in dealing with a doctor. We waited well over an hour and half to see him. He spent a grand total of five minutes in the room with us and was unprofessional and condescending in answering my questions going so far as to say, "Oh, you want a magic wand to fix it? Its eczema. It is what it is." Do NOT waste your time with Dr. Agha. He doesnt want to help you. He just wants a paycheck.
