If I can give this vet clinic 0 stars I would. I got to the clinic 10 minutes prior to my appointment, filled out my paperwork for my dog since we were new clients there. They placed me in a room to wait about 30 mins later. The nurse came in and got some information about my dog from me (I was there for an ear infection). Its 50 dollars right off the bat to take your dog here which I understand and is normal, however they told me in order to figure out what was wrong with her ears they needed to do swabs and put it under a microscope which was going to be 24 dollars. So basically I have to pay money for them to charge me for a certain medication. I agreed, but this makes me feel like this vet is all about money because why cant you just look at the ear and then charge me for the medication Im already paying 50 for you to see my dog. the nurse brought my dog back in the room and told me the vet will be right in to discuss the results. it took another 30 mins for the vet to come in with the same nurse. There was no apology about my wait time. The vet looked into my dogs ear with a light and told me it was swollen. The vet then told me he needed to prescribe my dog a steroid and he wanted to run a blood test to make sure my dog was healthy enough to take this medicine the test was 80 dollars, I declined because I know she is healthy. The vet then left the room and said he was going to get the medications. I waited another 10 mins. The nurse came in the room, no vet he disappeared and didnt even say goodbye, or thank you for your business, or Im sorry for the wait. It was very unprofessional and my whole bill came out to be 180 dollars- Im not mad about spending the money, but instead I feel upset that I spent the money with this business because my experience was so bad and they dont care at all about their patients. Finally, I just want to add that I asked the nurse what was shown under the microscope when they took the swabs, what kind of bacteria was there and she couldnt give me an answer she said it was one of two things. either rods or another name which i dont remember. she said she could double check with the vet, but she never did and never let me know and I feel like thats weird because how do they not tell me if i paid for this test and why did i even have to ask. I dont write reviews- especially not huge summaries, I came here because this seemed like the place with the best reviews in hinesville, but i will never return stay clear of this place, another vets office deserves your business more than here.

It is great to find a veterinarian and staff with whom you feel you pet is receiving the best possible care. We have found that at Liberty Veterinary Medical Center with Dr. Ahrens. Each staff member is kind and courteous and handles the pets as though they were their own.. I gave Liberty Veterinary Medical Center 5 stars and highly recommend them to anyone seeking excellent medical care and extra TLC for their beloved pet. Minx, our loyal and loving yorkiepoo was in need of urgent medical care. I immediately drove him to Liberty Veterinary Medical Center, described his symptoms and informed the staff that he was experiencing severe pain. They were able to see him within 20-30 minutes of our arrival. The clinic smelled fresh, and looked clean, which exhibits that great care is given to cleanliness and sanitation. The customer service skills of the receptionist, technicians and Dr. Ahrens are impeccable. Each person that was involved Minx’s care gave him extra TLC to make him feel safe and took extra measures so that he could smell their scent to assure him that he was among friends and had nothing to fear. Dr. Ahrens provided excellent care in her examination and treatment of Minx. He was diagnosed with having an ear infection, medication was provided and Dr. Ahrens was clear and concise in her explanation of what may have caused the infection, further preventive measures that should be taken, in addition to explaining how and when his medication should be administered. I received a phone call the next morning from the Center inquiring about Minx’s condition. I was touched by their concern and that they have a next day follow-up phone call procedure in place in addition to follow-up visits as well. Minx’s second visit was to have him neutered. I was given a thorough explanation of what would occur once Minx was dropped off for the procedure, during the procedure, and after the procedure was completed. I was also given a courtesy call informing me of how the procedure went and how Minx was progressing. When I picked Minx up after the surgery, I was given the details of the surgery once more, how he would most likely be feeling for the following few days, medication and informed how to administer it and advised of extra care that may be necessary. I received a follow-up call the next day from the clinic to follow-up on his progress.

I really dont have anything good to say about this Vet clinic. First off, I have taken my two dogs to them for 2 years now. Every time I hoped that it would be better, but it never got that way. The last visit I had an appointment at 1100 for a simple booster shot. I showed up at 1050 and the lobby was packed. So I took my mastiff outside and we just walked around after I had checked in. A few moments later a vet tech came and got my dog from me and took him around back and said they would be right back once he was done. 30 minutes I waited outside and could hear my dog whining and barking. Finally I walked around to the back to find my dog in a kennel. They didnt tell me they were kenneling him and that it would be over 30 minutes. They said we will be right back. So I took him and left. I got a phone call about half and hour later asking if I had taken my dog. They werent even watching him to know he left. Overall, very poor care. I have since taken my dogs to another vet down the road in Flemington and they are much better on prices and care.

About 4 weeks ago a newborn kitten came into my life unexpectedly. Having never fostered any animals before, I had no idea what to do and was in full panic mode for this poor kitten with its placenta still attached. Liberty vet medical center was the only clinic I called that actually called me back. Since then, they have taken a very caring hand to checking on this kitten and making sure everything is going well. The day after his birth, after his first appt, I received a call from the medical center just checking in to see how he was doing. One day the little guy became weirdly lethargic and they took me in even though it was their closing time to check on him. Basically, the point I am trying to make is that they sincerely care about the animals they take care of and see, which I consider to be a very important quality for beloved pets medical needs. The pricing is decent (military discount is available) and the level of care is superb. I really could keep going on and on about how great of an experience Ive had with them.
