I WILL NEVER BRING MY ANIMALS HERE AGAIN. i have been going to this animal hospital for years but todays actions broke the camels back. i brought by 11 month old male cat in for neutering wensday 7/2/14 they not only did not check to make sure he was a male they cut him open like he was a female realized they were wrong and stitched him up. the doctor who did the surgery told me that he did not put dissolvable stitches in because all cats tend to have problems accepting those type of sutures. well 6 days later on 7/6/14 i had to rush my cat to the emergency vet in lithia springs ga. he was laying in his bed twitching and having trouble breathing. when we finally got him to the emergency clinc he had to be put on oxygen and had to be given fluids and they also found that the sutures are not being accepted by his body. the sutures that i was told were not dissolvable were in turn actually dissolvable so now my cat is in critical surgery to save his life after the sutures became infected and inflamed and now he is having to get a bunch of tissue removed because o this doctor at the ark animal hospital. i have had 3 animals here that have either died or been in critical condition because of this man.

The reason I disliked this place is not that they were uneducated or unfriendly but when I called over the phone to get pricing for shots and thats about everything I had in my account when I get there they got me for an extra $150 cause they guilt tripped me into a heart worm thing and made me feel like I was just this horrible person if I did not do this for my dog.. point is and this irritates me to no extent, is that the tractor supply down the road had all of the medications and yes I could have done them my self but did not even know that was an option and it would have been way under $100 for what I paid almost $350 for. Needless to say I will NEVER take my pup back to an overpriced vet that is ran by pushy sales persons. Almost reminded me of bickering children.. I will not return and if I have it my way lots of people will read this and educate themselves on how to save money.

NEVER TAKE YOUR PET TO THE ARK !!!! We took our dog there for his yearly check up and he was in great health at the time but a new doctor at the time punctured his prostate during his exam and when we got home he started peeing blood. Took him back and Dr Bowen said it might just be an infection of the bladder. Put him on 2 doses of antibiotics and half way thru the 2nd dose he suddenly lost his hearing, 97% of it. Wish we had NEVER taken our dog to the ARK !!!!!!! Our dog is like our child and now hes deaf because of the Doctors at the ARK.

I have been using the clinic for over 6 years but something went terribly wrong 2 weeks ago when my beloved Persian, who was perfectly healthy went in for a routine dental cleaning and is now blind. Make sure you question everything before having your pets put to sleep here or anywhere. The bad/sad thing is Dr. Bowen didnt even realize my cat couldnt see after being a very limp cat in his care and facility for over a week. Its been over 2 weeks and my cat is still struggling to walk among the many other things.

I went her several different times with my new puppy. in the beginning I felt good about the service I was receiving. Then, after the 6th time of going to see Dr. Bowen in less than a month I realized they were just charging me for stuff that wasnt working and never gave me an answer as to why these things were happening. I am very disappointed and angry that my sweet fur baby STILL is not healed after all this time of going to the vet at least once a week.

I wouldnt take my animals anywhere else. When we had a housefire and lost two of our pets, they took our other pets for boarding on a 1 minute notice and kept them for the few weeks we needed them. They are caring and wonderful and Im so thankful they moved into the neighborhood. I just mentioned my pet loss in passing and they were so attentive they sent me a card about the loss a few weeks later. Thanks for all you do guys1!!!!

They didnt save my bunny when something got in her mouth and they said they would get it out and they put her to sleep and well, she died. When my dog had an allergy they gave her medicine that made her swell up pretty badly. So i would not recommend this vet and if you want your pet to be saved take them somewhere else like cedarcrest hospital, cause they are really good !

My little Jack Russell mix was attacked by an off leash Pit bull and almost died. Ark animal hospital saved his life. Thank You to all the Doctors, Vet Techs, and friendly caring faces in the office. They made my babys recovery restful and made him feel comfortable while he recovered from this vicious attack. I cant Thank them enough, they all truly care!!!

Took total advantage of my Aunt. Her dog of 15 years that was blind was recommended to have his leg amputated which they did when he should have been put down. Terrible taking advantage of someone like that who is obviously not making a reasonable decision for the dog. $2000 in their pocket and the dog died 2 months later.

Staff was pretty good, the female vet was kind of snooty; not sure if this was intentional or just her personality. Overall, clean environment and nice front desk staff. My German Shepard had a successful and quick recovery after getting spayed. Best pricing around the area too.

Every time we have taken our girls to The Ark, its been wonderful. We love that we can get in to see the vet quick and the grooming department does a fantastic job with them! Were always pleased and we always come back! Thanks for taking care of our furry loves for us!!

My Baby was having difficulties in walking and was in pain. I was able to get a same day appointment. Dr Bowen and the entire staff was wonderful. Genuinely cared and was sympathetic. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr Bowen is probably one of THE best diagnosticians in the state. We had gone from vet to vet and he knew right away by looking at ALL the symptoms and listening to what we said. He is fantastic!

I took my 10yr old boston terrier in for eye surgery on Friday. picked him up Saturday morning, he died Sunday morning around 1 a.m. PAID $800.00 to have him die in a little over 24 hours
