Heres an educated opinion from the point of view of a physician, who not only worked for MANY practices in Miami, Maryland, New York and Connecticut, but currently works for the POH Foundation, as well as the ANWAN Regenerative Center and Wellness Clinics. This position helps give me a unique insight into what is going on inside the practice and I would like to share it with you. Dr. Christie, Fnp Christie, Fnp Ross-Christie, Dr. Evans, PA-C Springer, Dr. Harris, and the rest of the providers truly care about their patients. I hear the conversations behind the scenes and I can tell you unequivocally that you would be impressed with their professionalism and love for their patients, as well as for TRUE medicine. Their goal is the same across the board - they want you healthy and they want to keep you at optimum, without stuffing you with pills or putting you through expensive and experimental treatments. Ive been a part of the organization for about 3 months now and I am completely delighted to see that idealism in medicine is not dead. It is alive and being practiced at ANWAN for sure. As for the associates, they are very warm and kind. We are all working on improving customer service, conflict resolution and patient satisfaction. Oh yeah and by the way, our telephone system and procedures are now undergoing a complete revamp to increase efficiency. We were very much in need of help in that area, I know, but Im happy to report that we are now getting it and a change will be happening gradually. I am very much looking forward to seeing there soon. And finally for those patients who were not satisfied, I would love for you to give us another shot and we will do everything in our power to keep you happy and healthy. You can even ask for me by name (Dr. Wehbe). Bless you all...

Beware of Anwan Wellness Medical Center I must say that this is one of the worst medical facilities ever. My son went in on Monday for severe allergies, he is having problem breathing. There is always a wait no matter what time you go. We waited 2 hrs and 45 mins to be seen. We need a prescription for the allergy meds with the decongestant in them, like Zertex D. Anwan center must have a deal with walgreens for kickbacks because all my prescriptions are always sent to Walgreen even though I always request Walmart ( they dont accept amerigroup). Well, t his visit, it gets even worst. (Tues morning) Walmart never received the transfer from Walgreen.(Wed morning) Walmart requires that I must go back to the doctor, and have the doctors explain why they are prescribing the meds before they can fill them or prescribe alternative meds. 11 am, went back to request that they send they prescription with alternative meds to Walgreen. I was told it would take some time. I called back at 5:30 and was on hold for 40 mins., and i was told that they sent the prescription to Walgreen and that If I wanted it to go to walgreens and have them send it to walmart. I asked to speak with someone who could better help me, and i was told everyone had left for the day and i could come in tomorrow. I stated that my son couldnt breath and could i speak with someone else and they hung up in my face. Beware of Anwan Wellness Medical facility To be fare some of the people are nice. But the service, the patient processing, the wait, and the overall patients experience is horrible horrible, the worst

What ever you do, do not go to this practice. I took my 6 year old son to them for a check up in August, during which they told me he was healthy even though we mentioned the fact that he had been having intermittent nausea and headaches in the morning. Three weeks later, after he complained that the headaches were getting worse , we took him to another pediatrician who after an extremely quick examination sent us to the ER for a CT which they found a brain tumor. Both the ER docs and the pediatrician were able to tell that something was wrong just from examining his pupils and since the tumor they found was a very slow growing type it is pretty safe it was there when ANWAN gave him a clean bill of health. If they had actually examined him thoroughly we may have found it earlier and more disturbing is the fact that they told us he was healthy when any competent doctor could have seen that something was not right. If you value your life and/or your childrens life avoid them at all costs.

Personally, I can only speak for the care I received directly from Dr. Renee...he left a lasting impression on me. Being that it was my first time going to the Anwan Wellness Medical Center, I did not know what to really expect. The building itself does not even look like a medical center (quite sketchy), so I was quite skeptic, when I first walked in, to the type of care I was going to receive. However, Dr. Renee definitely changed my perspective. From the minute he walked into my room, he was nice, personable, caring, and, most importantly, made me feel like I was in good hands. He did not rush through my examination, as I have had happen with other doctors in the past, but instead took his time to check and review everything that was going on with me. Dr. Renee put me first, and gave 100% of his attention towards figuring out the best course of action. I greatly appreciated his care, and I will definitely be going back to see him in the future.

I like their hours. but every time i go in its a different person. not only that the staff keeps changing. more and more new faces keep poping up as doctors. at first they were awesome but i dont go there any more. i need one to two people at most to over see my health and get to know me personally. its like taking your car to a mechanic. great car care comes from seeing the same mechanic that you can trust and only that technition. these doctors at anwan wellness dont understand that. the last time i went (and have not been back since) one doctor thought it appropriate to put his hand up my shirt to listen to my heart. i talked to the owner/doctor and his excuse for that doctor is that he is used to working with children.... i have been to a ton of doctors none of which thinks that it is necessary to ask my to lie down and go under my shirt to listen to my heart. all other normal doctors know that they can listen straight thru the shirt.

I wish I could give this facility more stars. Anwan has seen my entire family since I was a little kid. However, I had no idea how difficult this place was to deal with when I got older. The wait times are insane, I have on numerous occasions, been on hold for over an hour trying to speak to someone. Staff at the front is not helpful at all. On one occasion I was speaking with reception about my daughters prescription, the phone cut out, I was able to still hear the receptionist but I assume she couldnt hear me, and she began to say I was "unbelievable for hanging up on her", not knowing that I could still hear everything she was saying. Like I mentioned, I want to give them more stars, the doctors are ok, but having to get in to see them is a nightmare I am no longer wanting to deal with. Its just sad because I have been with them for over 8 years.
