This doctor appears to be primarily a medicaid doctor. Theres nothing wrong with if she did not insult the intelligence of her patients, by trying to milk those who have standard insurance. On the 14th of April, I took my daughter there again, against my better judgment as she would not give my daughter a different prescription since she wanted to change the type of medication. Since my daughter was just there two months earlier, I thought this was strange....however, after paying a $35 copay, after treatment, they were supposed to call her the next week. They didnt so my daughter called them and was told to call back the next day. My daughter forgot to call back and they were closed when I went by so following Tuesday I went back and was told the prescription was called back in on the 6th. Not thinking at the time this was impossible since our appointment was after the 6th and the 6th was weeks later. After contacting the pharmacy this past weekend, I was told they never received a prescription from the doctor. I contacted the doctor and was told I could pick it up. In transit, I received a call stating that the my daughter needed to come back in and to pay another $35! Ridiculous! It hasnt been one month! I actually spoke to the doctor who placed blame with everyone except for the staff! Needless to say, I have disputed the charges and will be reporting this "doctor " and her fraudulent practice to the medical board!

I cant speak for anybody else, but I have had only good experiences with this doctor. I have been her patient since October 2008 to current. And compared to the other doctors ive dealt with, she is GREAT! She did my treatment and surgery for my fibroids and was there for me evry step of the way. I became pregnant in feb 2010 and she was very attentative and friendly with me every step of the way. She was nice and cordial with my fiance. When I went into early labor at 35 weeks, Him and I went to hospital after calling her. She was at dinner, left and met us there. She went home to rest and kept very close contact with the LDR staff. I continued to progress and she came back and did a csection. She came to visit me during my stay and even gave me a hug. Sometimes her office may have a longer than usual wait time, but thats only because she is giving each patient their time and not rush you out! Thats what I like, she is friendly and down to earth. Beware of the reviews on here, try it for yourself. I moved 35 miles north from that area and still go to her. Very thorough doctor. I recommend her! - LM

I am a new patient for the OB/GYN office and my first visit was Thursday May 18, 2017 at 1:30 pm I was on time and was in the office for 1 hour before the nurse notified the everyone in the waiting room that the Doctor had to deliver a baby and we could wait or reschedule I rescheduled to Monday May 22, 2017 at 9:30 am I was informed that I would be seen first but when I arrived to the clinic it was full 4 people were before me and when it was almost my turn a lady walked in the office and said she had a appointment at 3 pm and she needed to be seen early so they squeezed her in front of me. I still waited patiently until a person that had a appointment at 9:45 am went to the front desk and said she has another appointment that morning somewhere else and they squeezed her in front of me also so I went to the counter and informed them of the situation that was going on and the older nurse has been rude to a couple of other patients this same day she put her finger over her mouth like she was hushing me like I am a child this office is very unprofessional and need to stop overbooking patients.

My first impression of her was very good, I thought I would really like her until it came time for me to have my daughter. She schedule me to be induced. I was in labor all day, I did not see her one time, She finally came in the L/D room as I was pushing. She stood there and watched the midwife deliver my baby and do my stitches. I NEVER saw her again the whole time I was in the hospital or even when I was discharged. I went to her office about 3 weeks later so she could check my stitches and during the examination she said "man I do good work". I was so upset...She did nothing. I have never gone back to her since.

This place has to be the WORST! They have no good customer service what so ever! Everybody in this office have attitudes. From the doctor to the nurse to the lady that take blood work! Went in today to see the doctor, was getting ready to have my blood drawn spoke to the lady that was doing my blood work and she turned around with a nasty ass attitude talking about hey with a mug on her face. And thought I was going to let her do my blood work NO MAAM! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GLOOMY ASS PLACE

I personally had a great experience with her. I had surgery and she was very warm and friendly. My only draw back is when I needed the short term disability forms filled out so I could get paid from my job, she charged me $25. I brought them to the hospital and she would not fill them out until I brought them by her office where I could pay the $25. This turned me off so badly I actually transferred out.

I gave them chance after chance but they disappoint every time! RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED STAFF. Called and confirmed/ reminded me of my appointment an hour before it was time for me to show. There is no doctor/patient relationship. Youre just another patient to this staff. Do not let this place manage your health. There are better places not to far from here.

Receptionist is by far the rudest Ive encountered in a LLLLOOOONNGGG time. You may get your tests done but good luck getting the results and if you use BCBS this doctor will pass on charges to you due to their not following the directions of your insurance. Save yourself the headache and look for another doctor.

Poor staff, rude, does not listen. misplaced a referral to have a mammogram after discovering a lump, staff wanted me to reschedule with doctor to pay a $75.00 co payment just to get a referral that is done at 100% though insurance at a separate locate. Ghetto as hell, go somewhere else if you want my advise.

The staff are unprofessional and rude. I left in the middle of a 12 week check up because the tech that took my blood sample stay on the phone will sticking a needle in my arm. I was so upset I wanted to cry. I will never recommend somebody to go to this so called organization.

I have been a patient of Dr. McDonald since 1998. She has delivered all three of my children. I have had no problems ever. She is an awesome doctor. I recommend any woman I know to her. She is very thorough. I will forever be a patient at Greater Atlanta Ob Gyn.
