While the staff is nice and the doctors are fairly knowledgeable, this is, BY FAR, the most disorganized doctors office I have ever been to. I have been going there for 3 years and they NEVER order the correct contact the first time because they have trouble keeping their records organized and the doctor didnt update my records properly. They have ordered the same WRONG contact lens EVERY TIME (4 times in the past 2 years). I always remind them to double check the order and every time, they order the wrong one. And because they are incompetent at keeping records, the doctor has to physically inspect the lens to check the numbers and THEN order the right one. But before that, they want to run a bunch of tests and exams when the problem is just that I have the wrong lens. I only keep going there because it has been 3 years and I keep my own records so now I can tell them what to order and what does and doesnt need to be done... if you are not a patient person and cannot stand incompetence and disorganization, dont go to Lossman. If you are looking for a friendly staff with a wide range of products and can stand some incompetence, then give them a try. At least they are always smiling.

I have never met a more unfriendly or unprofessional staff than the workers at the Lake Zurich location. I was referred to this eye care provider by a friend and have had nothing but unprofessional service starting with my initial visit in 2015. On my first visit after filling out the required documents, I met with a staff member that insisted that I sign the privacy policy agreement without having been provided the document. When I asked for the privacy policy document, I was told that they were out of copies and I should just sign the acknowledgment. I refused to sign the document. This morning I went to pick up my replacement order of contact lenses and had another bad experience. I was given an attitude because someone in the office did not print out the confirmation of my benefits. Is this my problem or an employee problem???? I had to ask for a bag for my items and a sample of saline solution. The response was "we dont give out saline solution, BUT I will give it to you today. Thanks for going above and beyond to give me a complimentary sample....

Ive been going to Lossman since I was a child and I had great experiences up until last year. Last year they started me on contacts for the first time. They forget to call me about my contacts arriving for more than a month. Once I started wearing the contacts my eyes became irritated. At my exam appointment this year my eyes were so irritated that they couldnt even preform the exam. I was told they would call me in a week to get me back in and see what is going on with the irritation. Almost a month went by without any follow up from Lossman so now theyve forgotten about me twice and when I called them to schedule the appointment they refused to see me. They claim to be eye doctors but over the past year my eyes have never been in worse condition and now theyre refusing to treat me. My entire family uses Lossman and we have never had these issues before. Something has gone downhill with this practice and I caution anyone from using their services.

I have never had vision problems until a few years ago, so when I decided I needed glasses, Lossman Eye Care came highly recommended. Dr. Balda took great care of me and got me set up with some good looking glasses in just one enjoyable visit. I would highly recommend Lossman Eye Care to anyone looking for a great eye doctor. Ask for Dr. Balda, great guy and fantastic eye doc.

The people here are very nice and very accommodating. I have a hard time making decisions but they were very willing to work with me although I took a long time to decide on a pair of glasses. I would definitely suggest this place.

The doctor doesnt who what shes doing. New management. Ordered my precipitation wrong made me wait 2 months. Afterwards overcharged me hidden prices. Wont go there anymore. Waste of time
