My experience with Dr. Shawn and Care Animal Clinic sounds too far-fetched to be true, but I swear this actually happened. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Shawn for many years, and always liked his service. That was until this past January. We had a cat named Fergie whom we adopted from the humane society and raised for many years. Eventually, Fergie became sick and would not use her litter box. We tried everything, including taking her to Dr. Shawn for a checkup, but she would only go to the bathroom on the carpets throughout the house. It became more than we could handle and decided Fergie was getting old, and we needed to put her down. This was not an easy decision, and my wife was very distraught over it. In January, she took Fergie into Dr. Shawns office to be put down. She was crying when she did it. Dr. Shawn asked my wife if she would want Fergie to have a "relaxer" shot before being put down. My wife said yes. While my wife held Fergie, Dr, Shawn administered the "relaxer" shot to Fergie. At that point, my wife watched her go to sleep and Dr. Shawn said he would take care of the rest. Our family was very sad, but we felt like we did the right thing. Here is the unbelievable part: After about 10 days of getting used to the idea that Fergie was gone, going on with our normal lives, we get a call out of the blue from Dr. Shawn. He informs my wife that he took it upon his self NOT to give Fergie the shot that would put her down, and that FERGIE WAS STILL ALIVE! Dr. Shawn told my wife he decided to keep Fergie as an "office cat". In fact they renamed her Stella. My wife has been very distraught over this. We can never go back to Dr. Shawn. We simply dont trust him. By the way, he charged us for the full service even though he didnt complete it. The money is not the point. Its the fact that he had a professional duty to put our cat down. He took it upon himself not to carry out his professional duty, and then informed us of that decision 10 days after we thought our cat was gone. If you ever visit his office, look for the grey cat named Fergie, uh, I mean Stella. Unbelievable.

I really like Dr. Fauley and his staff. Their approach to pet care is compassionate to both the owners and pets. It has been a long time since I have felt like going to the vet could be a fun experience with great care at a fair price. Bella is looking forward to seeing you all again in the spring when we start training for the beaches and woods of Michigan. I got an appointment the same day I called. We discussed which shots were most appropriate at this time. No waiting once I arrived and it was obvious that the Doctor was ready to take charge of giving the best possible care to my beloved Golden. His experience and confidence is unmistakeable. Honestly, in one visit I can already understand the intense loyalty his clientele has for this clinic. Exactly what I was looking to find in trustworthiness and value.

My husband and I, my parents and my husbands parents have been going to Dr. Fauley since we can remember. He is always down to earth and gives you the most realistic advice. Always been extremely helpful. Best Vet! we travel 30min just so we can go to this clinic. Highly recommend. We went to one vet and it was time for our dogs to get shots we asked out of all the shots they listed which ones they recommend. That doctor said ALL of them. We went to Dr. Fauley and he told us about 3 of them because of the situation our dogs were in (never would be kenneled, were not in wooded areass and were pretty much indoor dogs) I appreciate his honesty.

I had been vet shopping for about a year when a friend recommended Care Animal Clinic. Once I brought my dogs and cats there I never wanted to go anywhere else. The staff are amazing and take excellent care of pets, and their families. Ive said goodbye to a beloved family dog there, and brought our rescue dog for his first appointment. My pets have had many different surgeries and treatments, and each and every time we were treated like family. Everyone Ive encountered has been professional, competent and also kind, loving and compassionate. I cant imagine a better place to take my pets.

My cat is older, and, prior to our move to Naperville, had been to the same vet since 4 mo. Suffice to say, it was a big change for her. Much to our relief and delight, the staff and Dr. Fauley were all very welcoming and gentle. In particular, Dr. Fauley listened to my concerns regarding some skin growths my cat had developed and really took the time to check her out even just beyond her routine annual. I definitely recommend Care Animal Clinic to everyone who wants quality, customer- and patient-friendly care!

The staff is very friendly and very caring and accomodating. Dr. Fauley is very knowledgeable and caring as well. We brought our baby here because we were told she has a slight tear in her ACL and are currently getting the injections (prolotherapy injections) rather than surgery and she seems to be doing great so far! Dr. Folley and staff are terrific! They are always very kind and seem to genuinely care about our dog Maximus and can just about always accomodate our schedule. We very much enjoy going there and if anything is wrong, they always follow up with a call the next day to make sure everything is going well. They are also reasonably priced and you will never leave feeling you were ripped off. Id recommend Care Animal Clinic to anyone who loves their pets!

Care Animal Clinic has taken care of my familys pets for about a decade. Now that I have my own dog and live in Chicago, I still make the drive to Naperville to take her to Care Animal Clinic. The prices are fair and the treatment is efficient--which is perfect for a lovably neurotic dog like mine. Dr. Fauley is just wonderful, whether you are in the office for routine vaccinations or more serious issues. I recommend Care Animal Clinic highly.

Dr. Fauley has partnered with us for over 18 years to provide the best care for our cats. He was assisted us with food selection and proper care for kittens, helped maintain their health over time and comforted us in their final hours. He celebrated with us as we have begun the process all over again with a Seal Point Siamese kitten and a Chocolate Point Siamese kitten. I would highly recommend Dr. Fauley and his staff for care of your pet!

We adopted a kitten over a year ago and a good friend of mine recommended the Care Animal Clinic. I have been very happy with the care Shadow has received in his first year. Each time after a visit or procedure I have received a follow up phone call checking on Shadow. Being a first time cat owner, my questions and concerns have been answered thoroughly. The staff at the Clinic is just as much professional as they are caring for my cat.
