We have been bringing our dog to Danada for almost 3 years and the past 1year we started bringing our cat. a few months ago our cat became suddenly ill overnight and was throwing up repeatedly when i woke up that morning, I called Danada in the morning to find out our normal dr. was out on vacation. so we spoke to another Dr. who advised us to just give the cat some antacid pills and keep an eye on him. after our cat was still throwing up I called again and insisted we make an appointment to have him checked out, they advised that there would be an "emergency" fee if we came w/o an appointment, so after I was told again that its probably no big deal, we made a 3pm appointment. Around 1pm the cat was doing worse, so we called and got in right away. we dealt with Dr.Johnson (again, this is not our normal Dr.) Dr. Johnson repeatedly assured us that we had nothing to worry about and he would be perfectly fine. She gave him anti nausea medication that was suppose to stop the vomiting. it didnt. Dr. Johnson was concerned that the anti nausea meds werent helping so she advised we do xrays to make sure there was not a blockage in his intestines or anything. xrays showed no blockage. again, Dr.Johnson advised us that our cat would be perfectly fine and we had absolutely nothing to worry about. we did a blood panel and would get results next day. as i was checking out and leaving, our cat vomited 3 more times in his carrier. I had the receptionist grab Dr.Johnson again so i could talk to her. I expressed my concern that something had to be seriously wrong with our cat, once again she advised that he would be fine. I asked if i should leave him there to be monitored, she basically told me that i could if i wanted to but it would be totally unnecessary. I asked if he just needed to tuff it out and if the anti-nausea meds would eventually stop him from vomiting and she told me Yes. I paid my bill and took our cat home. not even 2 hours after getting home, the cat was going downhill fast, we rushed him to lisle emergency clinic where he passed away minutes after getting there. his heart just stopped. I understand that our pets get sick and sometimes theres nothing that can get done. but for Dr. Johnson to repeatedly assure us that he would be fine was just a very, very poor judgement call on her part. and one of the things she mentioned it could be was pancreatitis, at the time I didnt know that pancreatitis is a very deadly disease in cats, so how could the Dr. possibly repeatedly reassure us that everything would be fine if she suspected that our cat might have pancreatitis.??? and then a week later I find out through an EMAIL that our normal Dr. is leaving the clinic. a phone call would have been nice, or a letter. not everyone reads the emails, i know i certainly dont read them every month they come out. we just would have found out the next time we brought our dog in that our normal dr. is gone? the whole entire situation was handled very poorly by the staff and dr.Johnson with our cat. we were repeatedly told that we would be charged an emergency visit fee, and then later find out that fee was only $20! they made it sound like it would be hundreds of dollars more if we came in first thing that morning. we will not be going back to Danda and will be looking for a new vet. I hope Dr.Johnson gives a little more thought on what she tells her patients next time so other people dont have to go through the devastation that we did.

Our 15+ year-old GSD, Shane, has been seeing Dr. Wallach for over 9+ years; she is the gentlest, honest, thorough and thoughful vet we have been to (actually, all of the vets here are really great at what they do!). He has had many issues but he is going strong; we attribute that to such great care by Dr. Wallach and the Danada Vet crew. Dr. Burley (who has since left DanVet) cared for our 13+ year-old Rhodesian Ridgie, Jake, up until he passed; he (and Dr. Norberg & Dr. Wallach) cared for our Ridgie and he cared for us as we had been clients since we adopted Jake at 4 months old. The palliative care that DanVet provided Jake during his last moments with us was exemplary. Our young, active, 2 year-old GSD, Leo, has been under Dr. Wallachs care since week 8, and he loves her! Thank you for taking such great, extensive care of our pups, throughout their lives. From the moment we walk through the doors at reception, to the walk to the exam room to the exit---it is always a smooth affair.

This is hands down one of the best veterinary clinics that I have brought one of my pets to. I dealt with Dr. Wallach and Dr. Robbins in regards to a tumor that was discovered on my cat, Honey. This situation is unsettling for any pet owner but both Dr. Wallach and Dr. Robbins took as much time with me as I needed so that I was comfortable with my options. Dr. Wallach did the initial visit and diagnosis and was very professional. I can imagine it is not easy to break difficult news to clients but she did so in a way that I felt assured. Dr. Robbins performed the surgery and provided me with information to help Honey recover. If you are looking for a professional yet compassionate veterinary hospital, I highly recommend Danada. Their office manager worked with me financially and everyone from their front desk staff to their vet technicians are beyond kind. All around great customer service.

I have a German Shepherd who isnt a fan of strangers. She gets car sick and going to the vet is extremely stressful on her because we have to muzzle her on top of everything else. I have seen a few Doctors at Danada who have handled her aggressiveness wonderfully but the best would have to be Dr. Berley. He is an outstanding vet and we take all of our animals to him when we can. But all the doctors and staff are always so warm and friendly. I love this place so much that even though I moved almost an hour away... we still take our animals there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! Over the course of the past few months, we have taken our dog in for stomach issues 3 or 4 times. Each time, the diagnosis was Pancreatitis. However, after the 4th visit, as our dogs health continued to deteriorate, we were forced to go into an actual animal hospital, where we were told our dog had a very severe cancer that had grown in her stomach, and caused internal bleeding. Within 24 hours we were forced to put our dog down. 4 visits, and Danada Vet had no answers each time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE

My girlfriend and I recently adopted a rescue cat that needed to get his kitten shots done and a declaw. We took him to Danada Animal Hospital and had a wonderful experience. Their prices are very competitive, the customer service was great, and the doctors seem to really know what they’re doing. Above all everyone was very friendly, caring, and you could tell they had a lot of passion for animals. From now on Danada is going to be the only place we take our cat as well as our future dog we have in mind. Thank you Danada!
