I cannot put into words how great the staff is at Wheaton animal medical clinic. They were there in my time of need. My regular vet was on vacation when my little boxer girl became very sick. I took her to the clinic where they saw her immediately. They evaluated her and with their help we knew it was time to send her on to the rainbow bridge. They stayed open late so my wife and I could say our goodbyes. Dr. Zoolinger is one of the best and compassionate Doctors I have come across. The rest of the staff involved were equally as compassionate, I wish I knew their names. I highly recommend anyone who reads this to make Wheaton animal clinic your place for all of your pets needs. They have a new client when I am ready to once again find my forever friend. With great sadness I like to Thank you all Lou and Jen

“My dog, Tucker, had an emergency (paralyzed hind legs). AMC got me a very early appointment the same day. The scheduler was very sympathetic and Dr. Daly was outstanding. She clearly explained her findings in terms I understood and gave me several options for treatment. Dr. Daly called first thing the next morning to check on how Tucker was doing and provide further instructions. I called the office the next day (when Dr. Daly was not in), and the receptionist was very helpful. Dr. Daly had clearly documented instructions in Tuckers chart. I received the prescription Tucker needed within the hour and received a return call within the hour from one of her colleagues with an answer to my questions. Care doesnt get much better and efficient than that! QUALITY COMPASSIONATE CARE.”

My entire experience was great. Laurie was wonderful and very helpful when I called to make my appointment. Linda greeted me and my dogs very warmly when I walked into the office. My vet tech, Liz continued the trend of a super friendly experience. Dr. Zollinger was amazing!! She really took the time to find out about my dogs and the concerns that brought me in. She was so thorough. I feel like she listened to me and then REALLY looked at the dogs. She took the time to explain her thoughts and findings to me. You have an awesome team and I feel like my pets are receiving superior, individualized care. Love your staff, love the care my dogs received from Dr Zollinger. Acupuncture therapy was what brought me from an hour and a half away. Im so glad you offer it

All the staff were very helpful, from the office manager, to the receptionists, to the tech and the vet. Very clean and quite when I arrived which is important as I just adopted an older cat that is quite anxious right now. I was surprised when I wasnt charged for the initial appointment because I had adopted. The vet took time to answer all my questions and to make recommendations. She was very patient and understanding of my concerns. I also had a friend that, after my visit, commented that she used to take her dog here and spoke very highly of the AMC. It is also AAHA accredited which few vet hospitals/clinics are so that just provides another level of security that this is a great choice.

The team goes above and beyond to care for their patients. From the technicians, to the vets and staff at the front desk. They care for the pets as if they were their own and that makes all the difference. I also appreciate that they do what makes the most sense for your pets health and not the bottom dollar. Theyre not about shoving unnecessary procedures or vaccines in your face. Theres also a sense of family from the staff from the minute you walk in the door. I wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else.

What a caring staff! The ladies at this clinic are so kind and sweet to my little girl when she is there. They always have a treat ready for her at the front desk and I never have to wait long to see the doctor when I am there. I signed up for their payment plan which really helped me afford the bloodwork that I needed and helped the doctor find out that my gal has a rare medical issue that needs to be monitored. Thanks to the girls at animal medical clinic for all they do.

Wonderful experiences over the past 20 years with Dr Steven Borowiak being our primary vet for our dogs. This year we have been working with Dr Karen Hendrickson who diagnosed acute liver failure on our Australian Shepherd, Chloe. Due to Dr Hendricksons thoroughness and sense of urgency, she is responsible for saving our 7yr old Aussies life by wasting no time in getting her proper treatment.

Friendly office staff and the vets are knowledgable and helpful. Its a bit pricey but what vet isnt. Easy to get last minute appointments. The prepaid plan they offer is a good value if your dog needs yearly teeth cleaning. Was also impressed that they admitted to a billing error I hadnt noticed and worked with me to make it right.

I have been taking my dogs (now dog) to this clinic for over a decade. Yes, as far back when they were located on Main St. in downtown Wheaton. The veterinarians are wonderful and have always taken the best care of my dogs. The staff are so friendly and try their best to make my already nervous dogs feel comfortable.
