My first experience at County Line was a real pleasure. We moved to Naperville 6 years ago but continued using our old vet, who is now 45 minutes away, until our old dog died recently. We just got two puppies, and I took them to County Line because they are very close. They also have a beautiful park-like location on Washington, that backs up to the bike trail and the river. I was delighted with my treatment. I found some small lesions on one of the pups and was very concerned, and they were able to squeeze me in less than an hour after I called. Everyone there was extremely friendly, very warm and welcoming. The tech and the vet were both great about telling me exactly what they were doing and why, and when it came to treatment the vet explained my options and instructions clearly. The puppies were passed around and "loved up" by everyone there, and they finally fell asleep in the receptionists lap. The staff all fussed over my pups so much I wasnt sure if they were going to want to come home with me. It was great to see how much everyone there truly loves animals in general and my puppies in particular. We used our old vet for 25 years, through four dogs, and I was very worried that we would never find anyone to replace him. Right now, I feel very confident that we have found our new vet.

I never write these....but had to say something. I recently tried to change vets for convenience since I live close. I used to go to Dr. Eagenhouse who was right dwtn Naperville for over 50 yrs I think...he has since passed. My parents who have had many dogs over the years and my first Chocolate lab was seen by him for over 30 years... with that being said I then went to Warrenville grove animal hospital which they recommended highly so thats where I went. So...after bringing my puppy over to County Line....she needed to be fixed. After the very insensitive staff and Doctor (who seemed nice enough)...the exam was followed by a list of "options" for her to be fixed....the range of charges from pre- blood work, ivs or not, fluids or not....blah blah blah....the range was from $400 to $600....without the microchip I requested which probably was another 100....felt like in some chop shop...anyway I call Warrenville animal and they are doing everything for the dog to be fixed for $315 including the microchip. Now mind you....its not the money! I just want a straight shooter who seems to care more about the dog then just money. Which in the world is very hard to find...and that staff does seem so grouchy....lighten up you get to hang with animals all day. The Dude

Weve used County Line for years. Took a break from them for a while a few years ago, because its a bit of a drive for us, but we could not approach the level of quality care that is offered at County Line. So, we came back. Weve had three dogs during the time weve used County Line, and they have all received great care. Dr. Kilburn spends less time in the office these days, but I think one of my experiences with him a few years ago illustrates the type of tone youll experience at this clinic: after our golden retriever blew out his ACL, I took him in for an evaluation. Dr. Kilburn gave me the diagnosis, then spent 45 minutes going over the nature of the injury and the treatment options available, using 3D models, photo illustrations, and x-rays. Heck, Ive never had that experience with an MD! Most often we see Dr. Parvin for our day-to-day veterinary visits, and weve subsequently had another surgery performed by Dr. Selvaggio. Really, all are top notch--knowledgeable and caring. County Line Animal Hospital may not be the slickest, most high-tech office around, but its imbued with a sense of caring professionalism. The vets and the staff love animals, and always make every effort to provide the best in care. A great veterinary clinic!

Can honestly say I have never been treated as rudely by anyone as I have today. I called this clinic a week ago to set up an appt fpr a spay with my dog and Kitty was telling me all these add ons for the surgery. I explained to her it was all optional and that i will refuse the add ons. Kitty got real snippy with me and then hung up. I chalkes it up to maybe she had a bad day. Then this morning bring my dog in, Kitty doesnt say a word another receptionist is there and she barely sats anything to me. Vet calls to give update, she was nice and I voice my concerns to her she apologized. She should apologize for spmeone elses bad bed sode manner. I just left with my dog and I can say this place all needs to learn bed side manners!!! The tech brings my dog and and i go to pet her and she tells me "well we are about to close so heres your dog." Really...... NEVER in the 15 yrs that i was a vet tech did we EVER treat our clients like this. So 2 strikes your out.... I wont be back and i will not recommend anyone to this clinic. Find some type of compassion people.

My wife Sherry and I have two poodles and they are family to us. Eva is 10 years old and Wrigley is 5.We had been going to a vet (chain) about 3 miles from our home for convenience. The vets changed over the years we didnt feel a connection. To make it worse, the staff was indifferent at best, and rude or uncaring at worst. The last straw was when we wanted to get a copy of prescription so we could get it filled elsewhere and the vet clinic made us feel like we were committing a crime. We decided to try a new vet and after checking out a few (so we wouldnt make the same mistake) we went to County Line Animal Hospital and we could not be happier with our decision. Dr. Poduska is knowledgeable, patient, friendly and genuinely compassionate towards our doggies and us. The staff is so friendly and caring. Dr. Richard Kilburn started the clinic years ago and is still there. He couldnt be nicer; no wonder the staff and Dr. Poduska are the best, because they were hired by the best.

I would never ever recommend this to someone with a sick pet who cares. I took my very sick cat to this hospital. Before taking her back to the exam room I was warned not to step or slip on the blood on the floor. The vets were very unclear about her diagnoses. After a very pricey vet bill, I had to take her to another vet (Boulder) who gave a straight diagnoses. They called County Line for her records and County Line refused to comply and share records. Boulder was clean and did not charge me full price due to the lack of cooperation of County Line. I was only informed that my cat had no chance of survival and County Line was not considerate enough to inform me and be honest. Instead they charged me way too much and I had to take care of her at home and watch her suffer, then take her to a different vet.

My wife, my mother, my step-mom and my in-laws have all been clients of County Line. Recently my wife and my in-laws have sought another clinic in the area. It is a shame, as it is in such a neat setting. I know they have been very happy with Dr. Parvin, and were very unpleasantly surprised to find that one of the physicians had abruptly left the practice. The facility is margainally clean, prices are on the far end of reasonable, and I got the feeling that customers tried to avoid using the physician that runs & owns the practice. Nonetheless, outcomes have always been good.
