Having grown up with a parent who worked for two very good ophthalmologists, Im very picky about who I go to for service. I stumbled upon the Wheaton Eye Clinic via Google search and though I didnt have much to go on, I gave it a shot because they were willing to see me with no appointment. Upon my arrival, both times after today, I was asked the usual insurance questions and presented with a minimal amount of paperwork (there was no paperwork to fill out on my 2nd visit) The first time I was seen within 10 minutes of my arrival. Doctor Ekdawi, performed a very thorough exam, prescribed antibiotics, and was spot on with her analysis(she said I should be better within a few days and she was right). The second time, I had a different issue but with the same eye. I thought I had remembered the name of the practice but actually confused it with Plainfield Eye Clinic! I walked into the Wheaton Eye Clinic at 5pm, which is when they are scheduled to close and they STILL warmly welcomed me and said that I would be seen, granted it would be a bit of a wait. Knowing that I dont have to deal with urgent care or an emergency room, I couldnt be happier!!!! The office is nice and clean and the staff is friendly and so far, have been knowledgeable. Im definitely going to continue to be a patient/customer here......and bring my family.

Very Disappointed in Wheaton Eye Clinic plainfield office, I called to schedule an appointment, the desk representative named kristin holmes, was rude, and when i asked about insurance coverage, she told me that their was nothing she can do to find out, i would have call and find out my self. I asked if thier was anyway for them to check it out, she said no, i asked for her name , so i can let her supervisor know about her bad service, then she mentioned that she could transfer me to a department that can help find out, i declined , due to bad first impression, im taking my business elsewhere.

Doctor Ekdawi is wonderful, I always get very nervous taking my son to new doctors (pediatricians, dentists, eye doctors, and etc.) Not only was my son very comfortable around her, her personality put me at ease as well. Even though my almost 2 year old son was getting fussy and less cooperative by the minute, she did what she could to be proffessional and cheer him up. So glad I went here!
