I originally started going to this practice because it was covered by my HMO. I have never been impressed with the facility or the care. My particular doctor (Vijaykumar) does not really seem to listen to concerns and is often dismissive. I have been prescribed medication when I really was not sure why, and the listed side effects (researched those online--dr wrote script and moved on) seemed far greater than the slight ailment. We look to physicians for advice and expertise--not always for a Rx. Sometimes even an OTC recommendation will suffice. I definitely feel the practice is influenced by the pharm reps that visit constantly and patient care is NOT first priority. I have waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time before to see my doctor; the overall level of professionalism could be stepped up a bit. Equipment, furniture, and exam rooms/tables show very visible wear and tear. I am now on a PPO and have asked around at my job for references for other physicians/practices. My best advice is to avoid this practice; there are too many good physicians w/in a 5 mi radius of PPC to not get the care you deserve--HMO or PPO.

I have been a patient of this practice for over 5 years and have finally reached my limit with the lack of unprofessionalism and courtesy at this clinic. AVOID THESE DOCTORS AT ALL COSTS. They have very limited hours in which they are available. They are always running behind while you wait with MANY other sick people enjoying their fancy new waiting room/office in Schaumb urg--which is an improvement from the arm pit of an office they had in Rolling Meadows. The staff behind the counter is cold and detached. Dr. Vijay Kumar is a joke when it comes to 1) remembering who you are, 2) remembering what she last prescribed to you, 3) wont refill a single perscription unless you come into their "inconveniently located office in Schaumburg", 4) wouldnt even sign off on a doctors slip for a weight loss program (offered through a hosptital) untill you come in and talk to her first and then denied it because I hadnt had a colonoscopy yet! She makes you jump through hoops upon hoops and when you try to connect with her, you get a return call (if you are lucky) within 72 hours. UNBELIEVABLY BAD SERVICE. Go elsewhere. Youll thank me.

My first impression of the office staff was efficient and friendly. My doctor (Boskovic) was initially very shy, but very caring, thorough, and a good listener. He has given me referrals to specialists whenever needed. By the time I leave the exam room and walk around the hall to check out, the referrals are usually ready. (They arent ready only if some special authorization is needed by my HMO. It is a relief to be seeing a very kind and knowledgable doctor after what I have been through with my previous doctor who was appallingly rude, cold, and uncaring. I saw Dr. Vijayakumar and I am not as thrilled. I saw a new doctor, a very young female whose name I forgot and she was super caring and wonderful. The wait times are sometimes long, but that is usually when they have squeezed me in for an appointment the same day I call. The office staff is still as efficient but doesnt seem as friendly as they initially appeared to be.

I have been a patient at Partners in Primary Care for 4 years now. I have seen all the doctors at one point in time, I have always felt that they are very caring to my needs. I was informed I had a serious health problem which scared me very much, my doctor took the time to sit with me to explain it in a way that was easy for me to understand. The front desk was very helpful in scheduling future appointments and getting all the referrals I needed in a timely manner. Which made dealing with my issue much easier. Any time a person I know is looking for a new doctor I always recommend Partners in Primary Care.

I have been seeing Dr. Bala as my Primary physician for the past 7 years and could not be happier or healthier! He always listens to me and provides the right plan of care to help me. He treats me like family and truly understands quality care. I refer all my family and friends to him and have never heard 1 single complaint. If you are looking for a great office and healthcare stop here! they really understand their patients.

Great Doctors! I came to Partners in Primary Care after leaving another practice, and wish Id come here first! The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I do have to wait sometimes, as they are a busy practice but when I do get to see the doctors they are all very attentive to my needs. Dr. Bala and the other physicians are all wonderful and I wouldnt dream going to another practice!

I agree with people here who are not a FAN of this office. Cold staff, longer waiting time and FAX that never works...!
