I waited 2 weeks to post the review just to make sure it is still as good as the first day. Read it, if you are looking for details. The staff and the office: very clean office, great customer support, doctors are very open to all questions and I couldnt ask for a better surgeon. He guides you though the whole time and counts the seconds down. The surgery: Yes, he touches your eyeball, but your eye is so numb all you feel is the pressure, like you are pushing your eye in (try it now, it is the same feeling); you may loose vision for few sec, which happened to me, but its nothing scary; the procedure takes all but few seconds (mine was 16 seconds per eye) and during it you look at the green or red dot; feels like an eye exam, only laying down. you are out of the OR room in 10-15 min. Post surgery: You may see blurry at first but you may see crystal clear. I could see perfectly the moment I got up. You wear sunglasses and pump your eyes with drops for a week to prevent infection. The first 6 hours felt like I had sand in my eyes and someone made me look at the sun; or if I had my contacts flipped for a day. No pain, just discomfort. They tell you to sleep these hours though but couldnt, I just laid down with my eyes closed. If you fall asleep, you may not even feel that. I currently have great long distance vision but the short distance is compromised. I have the comfort of not wearing glasses and my eyes are not tired from contacts in the evening. I do need readers for details in short distance, especially in the morning, but the trade is well worth it. Overall, I would recommend Lasik to all who are tired of glasses, and/or contacts. The freedom is wonderful. I would also recommend the Schaumburg location. The surgeon is fantastic and the support staff is just as great.

The center is clean and professional looking. There is always traffic going through here because everyone wants perfect vision! The staff are incredibly friendly, they helped me through my paperwork and even had a bit of small talk. The two doctors were able to answer what ever questions I had and kept me relaxed through the procedure. The whole procedure itself takes maybe 2-3 minutes AT MOST and was completely PAINLESS. Youll be spending most of your time waiting in the waiting room with free refreshments and TV. The most discomfort was from the little suction cup thing they put on the eyeball to be able to manually move the eye. I had no pain after the procedure because they gave me drugs before hand. By the time I got home the drugs wore off and it felt like there was in eyelash in both my eyes. I took a nap and was perfectly fine 5 hours later. I dont notice any of the side effects. I had soft contacts before so there were always a little glare/stars/halos from lights, theyre still there but are much less compared to my contacts. I didnt follow their post-care guide 100% because Im lazy. I used the eye drops whenever my eyes get a bit uncomfy but I dont really have dry eyes. Its amazing to be able to see clearly now that I had lasers shot into my eyeballs. They mentioned I had 20/15 vision at the time of this review. They also give you these awesome pair of sunglasses with anti-badsunstuff that look super legit, I wear them everywhere. 10/10 would recommend laser eyeballs.

Where do I even start? I was recommended this place by a coworker who went through a successful Lasik procedure last year. I requested my free consultation and I was sold on the whole idea the moment I left the place. Everybody, and I mean everyone at the office is really kind and helpful. Youre greeted with a smile by everyone and they make you feel very welcome. Mario was the tech who performed my initial tests and he was great, such a funny guy (also good at his job). I met with Dr. Ubhi did my eye exams and consulted with me in detail about the procedure and types of laser treatments they offer. The best part is that they are genuinely honest with you. They will not lie to you if you are not a good candidate just to make a sale, nor would they sell you an expensive package if your eyes qualify for a cheaper one (which mine did). Dr. Aymond performed my surgery on Saturday 3pm, and Sunday morning when I woke up, I felt AMAZING. All the burning and pain (very little) was gone and I was able to watch TV, even cleaned my house. By Monday morning I was seeing great, was able to drive for a follow-up where I found out I am seeing 20/20. There is a chance that this too will improve further. The whole experience was delightful. If youve been thinking about Lasik, then I will say go to this place. Consultation is free so youve nothing to lose but a lot to gain. This will be one of the best investments you will ever make.

I went to LasikPlus in Schaumburg in September of 2016 and Dr. Gerald Horn did my procedure. My surgery experience was fantastic! Complete 10/10 the entire staff there was welcoming, patient, helpful, and fun! I believe they offer supreme service and expertise; especially since my recovery has been so easy and quick! My eye doctor at Third Street Eyecare in Geneva, Dr. Randall Burggraf, is super knowledgeable about lasik, and he works at the LasikPlus Schaumburg office one day a week. He can do your pre op and post op check up which is super convenient. He is also one of the most kind and genuine doctors I have ever had. He and I emailed back and forth quite a bit leading up to the surgery and he even sent a really long message to me to pass along to my mom to quell her fears. He is literally an angel. I dont have one complaint! Thank you Dr. Burggraf, and thank you Dr. Horn and all of the staff at LasikPlus Schaumburg!!!

This was literally the most amazing place to get this procedure done! From the free consultation visit to the day of the procedure you are given step by step instructions, you are made to feel extremely comfortable throughout the process and Dr. Aymond is absolutely incredible. He talks to you during the entire procedure, which literally lasts 5 minutes. You are given plenty of numbing drops so the procedure itself is pain free. Once you go home you are given sleeping medication so you sleep through the few hours of doscomfort while your eyes heal. I wkor up from a u hour "nap" and was able to see perfectly for the first time in 20 years!!! I cannot express in words how wonderful of a practoce this is amd would recommend this procedure and Dr Aymond to anyone thinking about getting Lasik.

Had LASIK done several months ago. Dr. Aymond did an excellent job making sure everything went smoothly. He walks you through the entire process before and during. I was somewhat nervous while the ring was placed on the eye, but Dr. Aymond has a calming presence and guarantees the best. The staff does a great job working with patients and handling their daily routines. Afterwards, I did have red eyes for for a couple of weeks, which was remedied with ibuprofen. I have not had any issues following surgery and received immediate results. Day after surgery, I had 20/20 vision. At the 3 week appointment, I had 20/15. Having LASIK has made life much easier without worrying about glasses or contacts. I wish I had this done years ago.
