I could go on and on about the service I received at Performance Eyecare and how extraordinarily pleased I am with this business. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff members, was offered a cold drink and was made to feel completely at home. The waiting room was so comfortable and inviting (with a fireplace, childrens area and putting green) that I was almost disappointed that I had zero wait time before I was brought back for testing, etc. before seeing Dr. Massie. Dr. Massie was engaging and made me feel like I was the only patient he had to see that day. He listened to all of my concerns, offered several options for my eyes (contacts, VRSS, lasik, etc.) and made me feel very comfortable. It was so different than my previous doctors office where I felt it was part of a "cattle call" and they were just trying to get through my exam as quickly as possible. During my exam Dr. Massie also explained to me that they were able to check for a myriad of diseases through the extensive testing they did on my eyes, which was a surprise to me. I ended up purchasing contacts and plan on going back to get glasses with my new prescription - their frame selection was amazing! His staff members are all trained in fitting glasses specifically to a patients face and they even have frames custom ordered based on those specifications! For someone who has always hated wearing glasses since I was 10 years old this was a phenomenal service. I cant wait to have glasses that I love! I would recommend Performance Eyecare to anyone who wants a doctor who listens to you, provides excellent service, and has staff that makes you feel at home. I now look forward to going to the eye doctor! UPDATE: Not long after my appointment I got pink eye from my son. I happened to be at an important conference in Chicago and didnt know what to do since I didnt bring my glasses. I called Dr. Massie and he not only called in a prescription for me immediately, he gave me his cell phone and told me to call him if things got worse. Better yet, he remembered when I was coming back home from my conference and called me again to check up on my progress. I was impressed! Not only was that amazing service, it showed me that he actually cared about my eyes. Bravo to Dr. Massie and Performance Eyecare!

Very happy with the last 3 years of SEEING (ha) the folks at Performance Eyecare. From the doctors to the staff, I dont think Ive experienced such a cohesive, welcoming team. The doctors are very efficient with their visits, making sure all my concerns are addressed and offering anything the can to make my eyesight and general world-viewing more pleasurable (as an allergy sufferer, this is huge). The staff are phenomenal. They will take hours (if needed, hopefully not) with you to ensure that you are able to find the right pair(s) of glasses for you, year after year. This all goes along with no pressure or push, you are treated like a human being, not just a customer/dollar sign. The office itself is very clean and well lit and the friendliness is over-the-top. They work diligently to make sure you have the best visit experience and do all the can to ensure your eyes are well taken care of before and after that visit. I am very lucky to have found Performance Eyecare when I moved out this way and do not look forward to having to find another place when I move away. You cant go wrong with Performance Eyecare.

I feel very welcome. Everyone at the reception desk is very kind and very willing to be of help. The wait is very short its rare that you wait more than 10 minutes before being seen. I have been coming there for several years. Dr. Dirk Massey truly seems to care about his patients. He listens to your needs and tries to give you the best possible care. If I have a problem with my eyes I dont have to wait for days to get in. In fact one time my husband had a condition in his eyes that the doctor needed to see him again the next day. We were supposed to have a snow storm the following day. I thought if it snowed as much as the weather station was saying,,there was no way I could get him to the office. Dr. Massey said if I could not get him to the office that he personally had a truck that he could get through the snow with and he would get him and bring him to the office. I dont know of too many doctors that would do that.We recommend performance eye care to anyone who ask about needing eye care.

I have been going to Performance Eyecare for several years, and I cant say enough good things about the doctors and staff. From the first time I walked into the office, I knew that my experience was going to be remarkable. Ive had glasses or contacts since I was 12 years old, so Ive had a lot of eye exams over the years. I can honestly say that Ive never had an exam like Ive had at Performance Eyecare. The attention to detail and the ability to communicate what they found was above and beyond anything Ive ever experienced. Even more impressive is how great they are with kids. I have 3 daughters who all look forward to going in for a check up. I always recommend Performance Eyecare to everyone I know!

I had my first eye exam as an adult with Dr. Massie at Performance Eyecare recently. I was nervous to go in and have the exam but from the moment I walked in his office I was welcomed and made comfortable by his professional staff. They offered me a drink and by the time I filled out my forms I was taken right in for my exam - on time!. Dr. Massie was friendly and took the time to explain everything he was doing in terms I could understand. He took time to answer all my questions. His office was clean and looked really nice! He has a putting green in the office too! I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend him to my friends and family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Massie for a few years, and everyone has always provided exceptional service. However, I must give special recognition to Becca. I needed to order a pair of eyeglasses and Becca assisted me. The frame I really wanted was over my budget, so I chose another frame. Within a couple of hours of leaving, Becca called me to say she found a way for me to get the frame I really wanted, and remain within my budget. Needless to say, Becca made my day! I truly appreciate her going above and beyond to assist me. Love my Performance Eyecare crew and highly recommend them!

This office showed great customer service from the moment I called and scheduled my appointment. They took the time to go over any questions that I had. I was reminded of my appointment my phone, text, and email. I was greeted right away upon arriving into office. Dr. was welcoming and explained all about my eyes. He asked if I had any further questions. Very comfortable atmosphere. Picking glasses was much easier with the help of Steve. This was my first Tim for myself. My insurance coverage breakdown was explained from the beginning before any test was performed or glasses were ordered. A+
