If you happen to be one of the many that are deathly afraid of the dentists chair or even one that just generally dislikes having to get probed in your mouth, I challenge you to rid yourself of your fears and step foot in Jackson Creek Dental. Dr. Tschetter is extremely knowledgeable and has a way of making your time in the chair as stress-free and as close to a painless experience as humanly possible. Cheryl is an amazing technician with a gentle hand and a witty way with words-she and Dr.T go hand-in-hand with each other to make your experience as pleasant as can be. I find my cheeks hurting not from dental work but from laughing so hard every time I leave-try to find that outcome at your current dentists office, I triple-dog double dare you! (for all of you "A Christmas Story" fans out there) As far as the mechanics of the magical art of dentistry are concerned, Dr.Tschetters office leaves no stone unturned. They will work with you to develop and implement a treatment plan designed solely to get a smile back on your face. No matter what the extent of your dental needs are, you will be taken care of in an expedient and effective manner with no hoops to jump through. Wait times are under 5 minutes in the waiting room and you are immediately taken care of when brought into the back for treatment. They are thorough and conclusive and leave no room for questions or worry. The receptionists are overwhelmingly pleasant and that same type of service and pleasantry follows you throughout each and every appointment. Jackson Creek Dental is just a win-win scenario for all involved. I would and do refer Dr. T and his team to everyone I know-including my chair scaredy-cat husband :)

Id give 10 stars if I could! They changed my life! Since I was a kid Ive hated going to the dentist. Id only go when I had to, hence, I havent been for 9 years! Well, had an old crown come off, so could no longer put off. I picked them originally because they do the type of crown I like, all done in one trip! I got in knowing I needed some other work too, but knowing I just cant afford. He surprised me! He went through everything I needed and helped me develop a plan that was practical and prioritized it. We were able to do several fillings to buy some time on teeth that will eventually need crowns, but now can space out to where I can afford. He has my total trust and confidence, he and his team do high quality work! They also made my 2 upper front teeth look better than they ever have in my life! It only took until Im 53 to find a dentist I wont dread or avoid seeing who inspired me to WANT to get the work done. I know I will now go regularly because not only is his realistic and helpful, there was NO judgement or lectures typical of most, and like I said, I havent been for 9yrs! I will continue to sing his praises and tell everyone I know they should go here. I cant thank Dr Tschetter and his team enough, everyone there has been fantastic!!

I first chose this practice because it was literally next door to where I used to live. Now, more than 10 years later, I still am happy to visit Jackson Creek dental even though I moved clear across town and I probably drive by several other practices on my way to my appointments. The facility is very clean and fresh. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The equipment used seems to be fairly new (I know how in some offices it can feel like theyre using the same stuff they used in the 90s or even 80s - not the case here). But Id say my favorite aspect about JC Dental is how Dr. Tschetter really takes his time to make sure his client is comfortable and informed. Being a very inquisitive person myself, I find myself sometimes irritating professionals as I inquire about the why and how of their services. This is not at all the case with Dr. Tschetter. He is always happy to show, teach, and inform. Ive even often witnessed him doing the same with his staff which makes me even more comfortable to be serviced by them knowing they are well trained.

As a former IU student away from my dentist of old, it was difficult for me to put faith in a new dentist in Bloomington. I am so glad that I chose to become a patient at Jackson Creek Dental. Last year I had some major teeth and jaw issues kick in (tooth infection and all that), and I had my first root canal. It was terrifying, but Dr. Tschetter and his staff did incredible work. Always willing to fill their patients in on pertinent information, answer any questions thoroughly and honestly, and do a wonderful job. I even went ahead this year and got a specialized mouth guard for a longstanding bruxism-like problem (tooth gnashing/clenching) through this office. I was nervous about the expenditure, but like I said--Id had enough mouth problems in the past year and it was well worth some savings to get the preventative measure taken care of. The staff strove for the perfect molds of my teeth beforehand, and the guard itself arrived quickly and fit perfectly. No complaints thus far at all; top notch office here. Thank you, Jackson Creek Dental!

I had a tooth break off at almost the gum-line so the office got me into an emergency slot the day after I called in. After x-rays and reviewing the situation, I was given a couple of options. Extraction was my choice and from the time the numbing agent was put in (which did not even hurt) and the extraction took place, I had no pain - and amazingly Dr.Tschetter got the tooth out in one piece! His assistant had everything available for him which made the appointment go very quickly. They are very knowledgeable, very professional, the office is pleasant they having cutting edge equipment, the office is clean and I recommend Jackson Creek Dental to everyone who might need dental work! Thank you Dr. Tschetter - and Angela Pedersen (assistant)! (By the way, where is her picture????)

Everyone was so nice! Dr. Howard was very sympathetic and broke what was going on with my tooth and explained the x-ray to me in a way that I could understand. Then Dr. Tschetter, whenever I was worried about the extraction I was having, assured me that if I felt any pain he would stop immediately and make sure I was more numb -- and he was 100% spot on; I felt absolutely no pain, he always warned me about the pressure I was going to feel before hand, and he was very careful with me. These two are fantastic people, and take care of their patients, and their staff is very friendly. I mean, its still a dentist -- you cant exactly love having your tooth extracted or expect no pain for a week after -- but theyre fantastic people and make everything otherwise painless.

The first time in my life I was fitted a crown in a single session. I visited the clinic for a routine dental check and cleaning. One of my teeth was chipped. Because it already had a large filling in it, the best course of action was to crown it. Two hours later, or so, I walked out with the crown on it. It was so fast. The crown was designed, made, fitted and installed in a single sitting. The equipment used scanned the tooth and its surroundings, then reconstructed a digital 3D image of it, upon which the crown was digitally designed by the dentist, and made by another device. All in matter of minutes. The clinic is fully up-to-date with equipment, materials, technology and, of course, skills.
