Dr. Shah does an excellent job of catching dental issues early. She is constantly reassessing your dental health in an effort to head off more costly and severe issues down the line. A few years ago she performed a root canal on me, but soon after I stopped seeing her because my insurance lapsed. I went to a dental school for additional work, and the very first thing that asked me was "Who did your root canal?!?" All of the dental instructors thought the work she had done was stellar. I am speculating - but I not so sure the previous reviews addressing billing issues are completely accurate. There could have been a mix up with her previous staff, but as we all know insurance companies often fight tooth and nail to avoid paying bills. Regardless, her current team (I can only speak to the last few years) seems dedicated and highly competent. She is literally the best dentist Ive had, and Ive seen quite a few!

In 2005 my dentist of 25 years sold her practice because she developed nerve damage in her hands. I had seen an ad on TV for the Smile Center and Dr. Shah. The practice was just around the corner from my house so I decided to give it a try. Twelve years later that decision ranks as one of the best decisions I have made concerning my health. I see Dr. Shah and her associates three times a year and could not be happier with the professionalism of her and the people associated with her practice. I would recommend Dr. Shah to anyone looking for a dentist that is proactive in her approach.

Dr. Shah is very friendly and provided great work. However, I was not told the correct amount of my portion of the work I needed done. AFTER the work was all completed (at a cost of almost $3,000 that I paid out of pocket) I received a call stating I owed an ADDITIONAL $2,000! They were unprofessional, unapologetic, and unethical and I will not be returning.

My previous dentist tried several times to fix a molar to the point that I almost needed a root canal. It went from a cracked filling to a cracked tooth to 2 inlays to a bad crown! I went to Dr. Shah, she made a crown so there were no air leaks and the crown stayed on! Best of all, no root canal! I am so happy she saved my tooth. She is a terrific dentist!

I was charged 1300$ for a cleaning, and was told it wasnt because I had insurance. Was told I received a "deep cleaning" but it wasnt any different than any other cleaning Ive had before. I saw right away shes a scam artist, I never returned.
